RE: "Flashback" - Wesker - 11-12-2016 19 Kann, 819 A.S (//fixing in process) RE: "Flashback" - Wesker - 11-24-2016 Anna made her way down to the train and got onboard. She held onto one of the handle bars, letting the momentum of the train swing her about lightly while she looked down like a zombie. The train came to a stop near the apartments, Anna got off and headed up the stairs to her apartment. She closed and locked the door behind her, the door was steel and had several sets of locks. Anna had many unhappy visitors looking to hurt her and take advantage of her. She dropped her luggage and headed over to the restroom. She had been wearing the same flight suit for 4 days flying as an escort back to Dresden from Omega-47. She took off the flight suit and the rest of her clothes took and took a quick shower. The warm water didn't feel relaxing at all, it only reminded her of the burns she got from spending months on the hellish surface of planet tangier. Each drop of water stung, she tried to relax and think of something else but it didn't help. She snapped, turned aggressively and shut off the water, ripped open the curtain and walked out now feeling slightly cold. She walked out into her bedroom and fell over onto the bed. Within minutes she was asleep. -hours later- Anna awoke to the sound of people cursing in the room above her. She was a mess, being on R&R left her out of order and with nothing to do. She couldn't escape the time with liquor, Anna never thought of touching a bottle of liquor on any Hessian base. Women who went to drink anywhere especially on Vogtland would end up in bed with some man sooner than later. Anna got up had something to eat, had a very cold shower, and threw on her uniform. She decided to head over to Nika Haupt's apartment and see what she was up to. She walked up to what she remembered being Nika's apartment. Hello? Annika are you there? It's Annabelle. She knocked several times on the door before someone answered. But it wasn't Nika. RE: "Flashback" - Char Aznable - 11-24-2016 The door stayed closed for quite some time, whoever was in the apartment right now was apparently very busy, at least from the audible rummaging inside. After five or so minutes, it opened partly, a young man's face peeking outside. He looked tired, even exhausted, but was not sweating - probably lack of sleep, or at least a bad night from which he'd just woken up. He mustered the woman in front of him, and immediately froze, opening the door fully. "Sir!", he uttered, hastily drawing out a salute. A Hauptmann, in his quarters. Certainly to finalize the evaluation concerning the operations in the deep Omegas he had been involved in. Couldn't have chosen a worse situation. The man waited until Anna gave the sign to stand comfortable, and stepped back, letting the woman in without any protest. The small apartment, if it could be named such, was untidy and messy, the people living here clearly didn't care much for things like that. Neither he nor his wife were military, after all. He hastily pushed a torn flightsuit under the bed, and just now realized what the woman had been asking at the door. "My wife's not here, Hauptmann. If I'd have to take a guess, I'd say she's doing a surgery or something." He wasn't exactly comfortable. Nika? Friends? That didn't sound like his wife. Not at all. Damn it, why did she have to end up showing up here now. He'd just been on the way to give the keys to the rooms to the quartermaster, so that everything in here ended up in the recycler. He couldn't afford to let this girl snoop around... Then again, Nika hadn't been gone for long, especially not if her apparently found friends hadn't noticed her absence yet. No reason to feel anxious without suspicion, right? RE: "Flashback" - Wesker - 11-26-2016 Anna glimpsed around a bit, the place seemed messy. A little too messy, everything was disoriented, nothing was in place. Some silverware was on the floor. Still, Anna only thought of it as a coincidence. Well if she comes back in a few minutes tell her Anna Heinrich was looking for her. Annika has been a friend of mine for a few years now. Anna walked out the door, and headed over to the infirmiry where Annika worked. She walked around all 3 decks, no Annika was to be seen. She stopped one of the nurses. Annika Haupt is a nurse that works here have you seen her? Nein Hauptmann, she actually hasn't been here for two days now I think. Usually she calls when she's staying home. Is there anywhere else she might be working or going? Nein she's at home most of the time as far as I know. Anna let go of the nurses arm and the nurse kept running over to an operating room. Something was wrong, her husband lied. Anna sprinted back on over to her apartment. RE: "Flashback" - Wesker - 02-04-2017 Anna was sprinting as fast as she could to get back to Annika's apartment, the feelings she had for a young girl in what seemed to be a promising relationship reminded her of her relationship with Florian. Anna was more anxious than angry, she had no reasonable suspects at first, or maybe Annika had just run off on an errand. Either way Anna needed to know where she was and if she was ok. Anna arrived at the apartment, she kicked the door in and walked in the apartment to find no one home. She looked around the house, everything seemed fine in the kitchen, the bathroom even the living room. Where was she? Where was dennis? Anna decided to look in the bedroom. She looked around and saw some pictures, each of them reminding her of Florian, each of them spelling out more of a need to know where Annika was. She looked, underneath the bed. No. Anna pulled out a flight suit with several tears through it, Annika wasn't a pilot. Maybe it belonged to Dennis? Before she could keep looking she heard something walking into the room. Her left hand slipped into her pocket putting on her brass kunckles, her right hand drew out her gun and pointed it at the partially closed door. It was Dennis. You lied. Where the hell is she? RE: "Flashback" - Char Aznable - 10-01-2017 Frak. Gun. She knew. Dennis' mind raced. He saw the Hauptmann, his wife's torn flightsuit in hand. A look up the corridor right and left of him let him breathe a little easier, however. "Because this is none of your concern, Hauptmann. No offense, but an ongoing investigation by the SOA isn't exactly something young women like you should stick their heads in. They might get their cute little parts in things too dirty for a pretty thing like you.", he responded, dryly. His attitude had changed significantly to when Anna had spoken to him earlier, And soon, she'd find out why. He let the door open further, to reveal two muscular, stone-faced men. Black uniform. Internal security of the SOA. The ones dealing with political disobedience. He looked up to one of them, and took a step back. "You better leave now, Hauptmann. And while you're at it. I don't think you should keep Nika in mind. She's somewhere... better now" He walked off the scene without any further comment. Sure, the promotion hadn't come in yet, but right now, this was enough. The Quartermaster had promised him that the SOA would take care of everything from here. Hopefully, this included snooping young upstarts who didn't know their place. The thought sent a sting through his mind, though. The betrayal he felt for Nika running off hurt, even though she was very likely dead by now, rotting in some gutter in the lower decks - after all, he was pretty sure that his cut had hit bone when they'd fought two days back. He justified his hurting by explaining to himself that she had, after all, been his wife. Loved ones betraying hurt, after all. |
