How much longer will the admins need to discuss this internally?

RE: Rules Presentation - Tunicle - 04-21-2018

Have you kept the OP updated when people have mentioned anything?

RE: Rules Presentation - Karlotta - 04-21-2018

Yes.

RE: Rules Presentation - Karlotta - 04-21-2018

In case admins missed it...

The rules here have been proof-read by several people over the last 2 months, and they're in the help system that you can see here:

(the rules are split into 7 topics at the bottom of the help system, you can see how they look ingame by skipping to 2:37 in the video)

Xalrok said it's in the repo, working perfectly, and will be in the next patch, when ever that is.

RE: Rules Presentation - R.I.P. - 04-22-2018

3.4 Intentionally ramming a capitol ship in order to ''flip'' it or ''catapult'' your ship away from it.

I still think this should include liners, Years ago some certain official xeno faction members used this exploit when i had a junker Pilgrim liner to flip my ship and keep me from being able to target them. So only stating in cap ships could still lead some to think it is ok to do it to other big ships. So it should read....

3.4 Intentionally ramming a large ship in order to ''flip'' it or ''catapult'' your ship away from it.
or
3.4 Intentionally ramming a capitol or liner ship in order to ''flip'' it or ''catapult'' your ship away from it.

This thread is not intended to ask for rule changes, only for ways to put existing rules into a better format.

Also, "flipping" liners and transports is a technique considered legitimate to keep them from docking with lanes and gates. Without it piracy would be very hard in certain situations.

Don't feel it is legit, small fighter smashing against a large Pilgrim would realistically be scrap metal. But whatever.

(Also asking them to be shortened does mean you are asking for rules changes in a way)

And sorry i posted this on your thread but i have mentioned this needed changed years ago, ramming any large ship should be considered an exploit.

Maybe an admin would like to tell me why they aren't answering?
