She smiled at Yoshi's recklessnes The answer is actually very straightforward. She quickly made a side step and held Yoshi's sword against Kiku's throat. The one who is most likely to win a battle is the one who has the least to lose. Your weakness was in the very room the entire time. It is your sister. Your pride and stubborness made you blind to it. You are too self centred and that will get people killed. You may live, yes, but at a cost you don't want to pay.

Yoshigahara grinned at Aya, good speaker but that's all. She thought.
"Double edged sword. She is something I care for, but she is also an adult who would survive anything." Yoshi said and made two steps towards Aya.
"Harming her in any way will make the offender to beg for death, because I will hunt him down, torture him, I will make the offender watch all kinds of horrors he or she cannot imagine. I will let him suffer, cutting off limbs, one by one. I am cruel and mad regarding her. It's my warning." Yoshigahara said, still watching Aya, focusing on her.

The Matriarch cut her finger along the edge of her sword and sheathed it. Then she threw Yoshi's sword out of reach. "Good. Now use that anger against our enemies." She walked towards Yoshi and stopped right infront of her. "You never know someone well until you made them angry." She smiled. "I do not fear death or that knife you weild. Contrary to what you may think of me. I stare at death every day. I already died once. I was reborn as one who will continue Matsuda's legacy. Not you or any one will stand in the way of my path."

Yoshigahara grinned at Aya, good speaker but that's all. She thought.
"Trying someone's patience like that can be very dangerous and you should know that by now. It was really close." Yoshi said and raised her eyebrow, seeing how Aya packed things up.
"At first you say I am a coward for throwing sword back, but now you've done the same. I am however not that kind to call you a coward, do not try my patience again. It's quite short." Yoshigahara frowned and began walking back to the table where Kiku was watching this scene in disbelief.

"One has to stare at death once in a while to feel alive." She lifted up her sword in her hand and gestured at Yoshi's sword in the corner. "I never threw my sword away. It was the sword you threw at my feet. Also I made my sword an offering of blood before I sheathed it again. As I said. When you unsheath a sword, make sure it drinks blood. The spirit of the blade becomes restless if you don't." She sat down at her place on the table. "Kiku-san, I apologise for our interruption. I think you realise the significance of my actions better than your sibling."

Yoshigahara crossed her arms before she took a seat beside her sister, frowning now and then before she finally openedbher mouth.

"I am quite tolerant, I was just afraid a little about your and her health. Just by looking at my sister I can already say you two won't get along as the first impression failed greatly and she is stubborn. She won't like you and won't do anything above her duties, however if the life is threatened, emotions step aside until the fight is done. Then it returns back into old rails.." Kiku said and rolled her eyes, then she gave Yoshi a worried look before turning back to Aya

She partially unsheathed her sword and wiped the drop of blood off with a piece of silk, before sheathing it again and offering it to

Yoshigahara grinned at Aya's long speech and once again crossed her arms.
"You should be glad I threw that sword your way. Even if it was out of tradition, I showed you some respect as superior. If I get into rage, I am unstoppable until my foe basically bleeds out. I saved your from that. Heh, maybe you are better than me in close combat, however if I have to go to hospital, my foe goes always with me, no matter the cost." Yoshi nodded and looked at her sister.

Yoshigahara also raised her brow, but remained on her place. "Arigatou, but I will have to decline your offer. It's not the right time yet, once we both prove ourselves in the battle against the regime, I will give it a thought. But not today." She said, but kept staring into Aya's eyes.

"On the ground or space huh?" Yoshigahara asked Kiri, but she's decided to continue nevertheless.
"On the ground I am quite reliable with sniper rifles and shotguns, beside sword obviously. In space, uh, anti capital support and and very heavy fighters. I used to have Rapier, before it was destroyed." She said, carefully observing Kiri and her facial expressions.
