RE: Making a Star Fly - Starfliers - 02-18-2022

"Looks to be where are at the end of this, Maria. What I see in front of me is something very close to what I imagine the Aquila to be."

Pressing the correct button this time, the holographic display shuts down. Both people can now see each other clearly without having a buzzing blue image sit between them.

"Thanks for the beer. Will save it for special occasions. Once I get Orbital's plans and sort out my research suites, I'll contact you with a master channel to track the progress of the ship. Are you sure that the list of materials you listed before is enough? If there's more that's needed, add it in and Rex will be happy to send it over."

Maria smiles. Don't worry about resources. That amount is 99.99% correct. We expect arrival of your crew, so we can start training sessions. We will expect delivery, and we'll expect HNP's from you. We charge you for our work. Maria glances to her pad. 9.999.999 SC. This, everything is settled. Feel free to stay onboard if you want. Blueprint've been sent to Shipyard. I ought to say that blueprint is copyrighted, so we'll keep it in our database. We encourage you to to use our shipyard for maintenance every six month. Maria gives Leon datapad. Your fingerprint scan, retina scan. And prepare your ID card. Construction will begin shortly.

"I don't doubt your work, Maria. I'll be sending over the credits once I land back on home base. There... and there. Does this qualify?"

The Starfliers Employee ID is shown to Maria.

RE: Making a Star Fly - Xenord - 02-19-2022

Yes. That's more than enough.

"Easy done. I'll return to the Pulsar and fly back home. Where have we moved to now? I don't hear the rumblings of the storm."

Leon checks his pockets to make sure he's got everything. Picking up the ID from the table and sliding it into his back pocket.

Maria smiles. Shikoku, your ship is waiting for you in a hangar. Maria stands up. Renzu won't dissapoint you and your fellow comrades.

RE: Making a Star Fly - Starfliers - 02-23-2022

"If this conversation is anything to go by, the Renzu Corporation has my, and the Starfliers thanks."

The reverse trip is made, all the way through to the hangar where a couple of ship workers were polishing off the Pulsar. Having landed using a dirty, irradiated and slightly damaged ship, the Renzu workers were finishing up the final touches on the Kali-Class fighter.

"This reminds me... I understand Sutinga-Class vessels are a luxury these days. Might do my crew a favour and buy some from... Roppongi was it?"

RE: Making a Star Fly - Xenord - 02-23-2022

Roppongi already stuffed like a thanksgiving turkey. No way we can fit Shukensha there. But we have a shop there. Maybe you want to try our other products aswell. Maria laughs Anki is a pretty good freighter for deep space crews. Saishi is a balanced HF. And, of course, our bestseller, the Stinger. Civilian fighter with military grade performance. For a Shukensha just visit our shipyard here, in this system.

RE: Making a Star Fly - Starfliers - 02-25-2022

"After I send over the payment, I'll place an order for three Stinger-Class ships. They'll replace the Kali-Class fighters I have... hopefully this higher grade performance is well worth it."

The process for boarding the Pulsar starts, having the cockpit slide open and the main systems begin to spur and turn on. Leon climbs aboard, getting comfortable inside the cockpit.

"Don't believe you mentioned which account to send the construction cost to. I'll record it down now so I don't lose it."
