' Wrote:how will it half development? you can still continue making models for the next versions of discovery. I dunno about you, but i think i'd like to play the final release of 4.85 now, instead of delaying it with further additions. and thanks to cannons auto updater, its not like each release will be years away like 4.84 and 4.85 have been.

I still don't understand this part , frozen. Isn't that exactly why the updater was created ? So people like , me for instance , don't have to wait another 2 mouths , or more then an year or so after the ship they want was created and prepared for adding in the mod ? Personally , I think that Disco is always in Beta , developing more and more by adding new ships , features and so forth. I , personally , don't wish to play the official release of Beta , because some ships that I want to see haven't yet been added. And I'm sure more people think that way. Or is there some kind of dead line for the completion of 4.85 and it's final release?

On topic however , I personally like the model very much. As someone who uses most of the BW's ships on various accounts and characters , I can say that this bomber has the BW feel to it and really appears to fit the line perfectly. Good work.

EDIT

As for this model: this is exactly how the Falcata is 'supposed' to look - great job so far.

We are going to have to change our BW bombers of that happens , at least until a BW only bomber appears it seems.

Eh, if adding more engines, remove a few of the existing ones, convert the engines on the bottom wing thingies into torpedo tubes? Keeping the engines in a straight line may make more sense, I do like the idea of torpedo tubes though, for some reason... the loss of the doors that open to eject stuff wouldn't really bother me if I'm honest.

Though the wing may seem rather redundant, it could be for holding the turrets? Though, they'd probably need to be forward firing for that to work... which is too much for a bomber.

Adding supports, the one Jamez proposed looks good ( the second one, the first looks a bit... weird).

The updater was created to balance/bug fixing? So there weren't any ludicrous problems like last versions BHG GS. From what I hear, we're not far off from the final anyway. Balancing a ship in that time, as well as making a decent hitbox, bugtesting, etc. would be quite a mission.

I love this model.

As for BW being outcast only, I seem to remember a rumor somewhere where someone was bragging about how BW ships hulls are made in Bretonian smelters, and how they are half Bretonian.

imo, the top looks too round

I never really liked the idea of torpedo tubes on Bombers. To me, the weapon model is the torpedo tube, and it makes little sense to be to have a torpedo tube inside a torpedo tube. The Sabre already has 2 hard points on the under side of its' wings that are unused, that is where the torpedo hard points will go.
The Falcata is a very popular ship, I want to keep this ship as close as I can to the existing Falcata while giving it a more vanilla feel.

Lots of ships seem to have details added for little or no reason. This one could perhaps be a counter balance to the extra weight of the torpedoes and power core, or a stabilizer or something. It does have two hard points on it, but they'll likely go unused (BW ships seem to have a thing for unused hard points. Dagger has 2, Stiletto has 3 (Switchblade has 2) Sabre has 5 and this ship will have 5)

Looks like some cardamine flashed outcasts have hammered in some edges into the Falcata, in the hope to get turning and agility of Sabre for.

Nice extension of the Sabre though.

There's the Falcata infocard for ya, heh.

I totally agree with Nighthawk on the torp tube thing. *Grumbles about a certain ship some more.*

Is the main body a dagger/scimitar or have you beefed it up a bit? Without a bit of extra mass it's pretty small for a bomber I suppose. The Roc's main body is bigger and longer than the Eagle.

The latest update looks rather...

Sexy.
