The harpoon is inspired and I like the colours. Ideally the entire faction name rather than just BHG could be included, and a silver star could be incorporated for the BHG - representative of Texan origins and historic badge of bounty hunters.
The first BHG sig looks good. If it could have room for a character picture, name and possibly a rank (listed on faction status page) and maybe not have so many ships (or none?)
The harpoon thing could be adapted for the Core, but ideally the Core would be something a little more unusual, like a secret organisation with possibly a different colour scheme. The name is The Guild Core - bounty hunter part if kind of unimportant. Ships in Core sigs...well I'm just not sure if the BHG caps look all that good in sigs (the mako maybe). Like the background though.
Mottos are important as well. Problem would be finding a font that is characteristic enough.

Now it's harpoon for regular BHG and a symbol alienish-artifact spear for the Core.

For BHG I used the color of silver 'cause you mentioned the star. For the Core I used alienish tone of the very light blue, or more like very light-purple. You wanted no shortcuts so I had to redesign. And it's a lot better now in my opinion. If I made the the harpoon/spear shorter like in previous version, fonts would be a lot smaller to make them fit. And one couldn't see the letters. Now, even if you lower the size of logos for let's say 30% everything will be clearly visible and still sharp as well.

Sigs are just drafts like before. If you say "go" for this, spear/harpoon on the sigs will be more above so the room for the members' pics and names will fit just fine without resizing anything.

Again, backgrounds are just examples although they're just fine by me. Regular BHG background has 2 planets, as you can see, so it symbolizes blah, blah human population. On the other side, Core sig's background is definitely nomadish. Furthermore, I'm still thinking what to do with frames of these backgrounds. I gave you an example in PM so check it out. Tilted position of sig frames in same angle of fonts would surely make this even more cool. Then again, it's all your decision.

These look outstanding. Could you post an example sig? (Can't find any in PM box and other faction members would like to see one). If possible could the mottos be a little larger? For the Core it should just read "The Guild Core".

Edit: in case you hadn't thought of that, you can use these logos as headers as well.

I did notice a while back that the logo in the center is a little off centered, but I wasn't sure if you still wanted at all. Let me know, and I can fix it and send you the layers.

Okay I think the Joker has it. I hate to be so picky, but the text seems a little cramped on the spears. Can it be moved around a little?

They were smaller and you said to make fonts bigger, dude. If I decrease the size again, you'll think the same thing. Think about it. This size is optimal.

Sorry, I didn't mean change the size, I just meant that their positioning could be changed. If needs be and they are on separate layers that can be done by myself or by people customising the sigbar to include characters etc..

I think we're good to go.
