Cargo piracy - AJBeast - 02-01-2010

It still removes an entire layer of roleplay on the whole pirating business. Here is the sort of piracy I have wanted to incite for quite sometime:

You are a Junker. You see a big supertransport come out of the lane. You try to stop him and warn him that there are Xenos standing on the next lane ( this most obviously being a lie). You persuade the transport captain to follow you into the scrapfield through a shortcut and even offer yourself to escort the man to his destination. The man follows you into the field and you proceed to rob him silly, destroying his ship and taking his loot to the nearest Junker station.

You were smart. You managed to web an elaborate lie to get your pray. And you can get sanctioned for it. Do you think it is fair? I don't.

PS: Awesomeness points if you manage to pull this off by pirating him for an exorbitant amount of cash AND take his loot. Even more awesomeness points if you manage to hire yourself to him as an escort and ask for half the money first.

My answer to this problem would be: File reports of the misbehaving Junkers so we can warn them and/or file repchange forms. That is what they are for.
