' Wrote:nope... talked with an admin about that once... the good old " you can enter if permitted or if attacker leaves/dies" is no longer valid. If caught by an admin, the admin may (if in bad mood) give you a slap for doing so.... and other players can report you if they want.

Sorry, but the "loophole" i loved the most, the one called "common sense and general friendlyness" does not have a place here....atleast thats what i was told

' Wrote:0.0 Be excellent to one another. Consider the people around you. Keep fair play in mind. It's a game and nothing is gained, or lost, save the experience. Credits can be re-earned. Ammunition replenished. If you become infuriated step away. If you make a mistake apologize. If you wish to remain in system after you die, or after someone has moved away, simply ask.

That "loophole" which is still in the rules?

' Wrote:Yes,cause I can already see a problem here.
Example...Miner and transport..say a Mafic and a BWT.
The miner is also the escort for the transport/trader,as is the Mafic's role.

Hows that going to work?....at what point does the miner become the escort, and vise versa ?
That I want to see cleared up ,and fast please...

This is very easy. The Mafic is a fighter and has as such never been covered by the 4-hour-rule-exeption. If it gets shot down (which is quite unlikely) it may not reenter the system for four hours. The BWT is a tradeship and could try to buy ore from someone else in the same system it got shot down.

If both ships are on transit to the selling -location the escort-rules apply to the tradegroup.

The escort rules don't cover the death of the Mafic, only the reentering of a system previously left.

Miners and all those that constantly complain, ask yourself this. It is always a good thing to actually communicate and hold that hatred in while you ask him can you go back to mining again.

0.0 rule allows that. For example I had to flee from Dublin last night because a maffic was really annoying me. But he knew I'll manage to dock to gran canaria, so he broke off the pursuit. However, I pmed him asking him can I go back to Dublin and he agreed.

well, if i ask the pirate if i can go back to mining, he would say yes, wait for 20 min and pirate me again

Admin Notice: Miners and the 4 hour rule - Exsiled_one - 03-09-2010

and before this admin notice was active, he was forbidden to pirate you again? I think not.

Why are you so depressive anyway? Can't you guys organize and muster up few escorts or get someone to park a great big flaked out battleship in front of Java?

Hehe, funny. That was me in the Mafic.

I only hope that Hegemon-pilot will not misjudge the Mentira any longer in regards of firepower and armor.

Just a warning.....Asking another person for permission and getting it , does not make you except from the rules that are set in stone. You can still get nailed with a sanction.

Ever stop to think that he let you start mining again so he could pirate you again? If he kills you, it is his system, if he lets you start mining again, prepare to pay him for allowing you back into the system. Its called job security. If he kills all the miners and doesn't let them back in, he won't have anyone to play with. He lets you back in to make your money, so he can make his.

Letting you back in doesn't always mean he will get to pirate you again, if you were smart you'd watch for him and book it when he hit 14k on your scanner. If the same pirate hits you twice in 40 minutes, YOU are doing it wrong.

A screenshot of the player who reported you saying "yes, it is fine to come back" would probably be considered reasonable counter evidence.
