They were Zoners. They used the liner because
A: people mover, propper RP as such
B: decent cargo space.
the first is the RP reason for using that vessel. The second is how to keep the members active: they make credits.
They wernt being loltraders like some groups (Yes, IND, I'm laughing at your pathethic RP, I mean serioustly.... 5ship convoy, all 5ks, hauling half cardi and half artifacts, 'sneaking' into manhat via Z21 .......) power smuggling in 5ks.
They were doing RP routes, making ok credits, and even had RP approval from the goverments to haul otherwise illegal cargo.

He seems to be spot on Leo, in this instance.
Dusty Lens may have accused me of having an agenda in this thread, but it is quite far from the truth. The damage is done. The ZAS~ liner gets logged on to prevent deletion, and that is about it. Whatever happens as a result of the pseudo-Administrator thread will not affect me.
Our RP of caring for the slaves does not really work in that way.

The problem is so many in the community get all butthurt if someone disagrees with them, and makes it personal.

I'm a newcomer to this thread, and I'm confused over what y'all are arguing about.
From what I can tell, it's not pretty. I read the entire thread and I'm still not sure. Someone mind dropping my a line so that I can lend what little intelligence I may have to this discussion?

ZAS = Zoners Against Slavery
They started in .84 as a Zoner RP trade group ( in this case, for thsoe that missed out on .84, RP was not the first priority of the server despite the claims of the staff, so the RP distinction is a big thing for that era ).
Essently, they'd grab slaves and haul them to various humanatarian dropoff points such as gran canaria.
Their RP was they had some old lux liners that had been refurbished to carry the former slaves in comfertable conditions as well as medical faculties too.
Then comes the tech chart, and aside from the big 'ol frak you to the Zoners (Zoner Guard ID restrictions) they also made the liner a red cell for the Zoners too.

It was back in early .85
Never botherd to do anything other than blow all but one or two that got away up, casue Ive never seen any house Govt in RP actualy do a damned thing to them no matter how badly they were busted.
Essently, until I either see good RP from IND, or start hearing good things about them, I'll consider them as either targets, or something to ignore, because aside from blowing them up or pirating them, my experince (in nearly two years of Disco) has been that IND avoids RP and just power smuggles when they think they can get away with it.
Am I grouping some good IND players in with the bad ? Certainly. However when all but one or two experinces in nearly two years are that negative of coruse one will assume the worst at first.

IND don't use Z21, and they hadn't ever either. I catch any IND in Z21 I'll hoof them. It's not RP. In any way.
