Xenos - Dopamino - 10-10-2007 you can use hawks, eagles etc. any civ fighter. Xenos - UnknownObject - 10-10-2007 ' Wrote:you can use hawks, eagles etc. any civ fighter. I'm not using any of those. My ship is a pirate one... and in its description is said to be a common workhorse in pirate factions. It is not the biggest or best and I chose it cos it fit my RP character. It is found in Liberty space and looks the part. At the end of the day Xeno fleets would be a motley crew of weird and wonderful small fighters... not ranks upon rank of identical ships. Xenos - Fellow Hoodlum - 10-10-2007 Possibly found on a base belonging to your enemies though, from what I can see. Not sure, apart from the old chestnut of 'I stole it', how would you have got hold of it ? Hoodlum Xenos - Gamazson - 10-10-2007 I have to agree with him on the not using Hawks, Falcons and eagles though. They were deigned and and are manufactured by kishro, who took a great deal of business from DSE. That caused DSE to close a major shipyard in Colorado putting many of the initial Xeno's out of work. Think about, is an American extremist going to drive a Toyota truck or a beat up Chevy? I was flying it when I joined the Xenos. We are not biologically different from the rest of Liberty... You set out in Manhatten for pity's sake. I started on the wrong side of the tracks and ended up doing jobs for all the factions in Liberty including Rogues... I had enough money so I bought one... My jobs got less and less lawful and more and more altruistic rather than for profit. I took a real dislike to bounty hunters... and before you know it Xenos stopped shooting at me. I hated traders anyway so it seemed like I should even the odds a little by joining up with them. That is the advantage of it being something that isn't big and expensive... I bought it way before I had to chose a career path. Xenos - Doom - 10-10-2007 ' Wrote:I have to agree with him on the not using Hawks, Falcons and eagles though. How about a MKII starflier! Don't worry I'm kidding:D Xenos - Bernadotte - 10-10-2007 Xenos could do with some particular line of ships. The civilian models are just too common. Unioners, GC, Gaians use it... it's a civilian ship line, not generic terrorist/pirate/unlawful. Xeno guns suck, they don't have any capships (ID disallows it) and the infocards state, they're the weakst and least significant terrorist organization in existence. Maybe that's what makes them so special. And the mentioned advances in the story for xenos... they are gaining a lot of support from the Liberty corporations, willing to hold back their competition from the other houses. The Corsairs also might silntly support them to weaken Outcast grasp on Liberty. (like... changing the artifacts dealers from junkers to xenos) With such support, xenos might kick the Junkers out of Liberty ( stated goal for the forseeable future) and start making some real cash. That would mean a stronger military and waaaaaaay more and harder work for the Outcasts and their allies, also depnding on the junkers, selling cardamine. Who controls the <strike>spice </strike> (oops) contraband, controls Liberty. Xenos - Unit-sk855 - 10-11-2007 to answer the "its sold on a enemy base" question. If the ship is a civilian produced ship, but not sold by the unnamed producer, then the third party seller enemy bases have gotten it from someone else. Your character is simply buying it from the original source RP wise, but game wise you have to buy it from where its sold. You don't have to "steal" anything. You just buy it from whoever is selling the ships to the bases that clearly are not producing it yet still have it. |
