I hadn't thought of that actually. Thanks.

Perfectly fine with it. If you don't like animated avatars or signatures, turn all of them off. Simple.

Meh, I still have the most awesome sig.
Schlurbi has some awesome girls with headphones, but I'm not into cartoons really. Big unrealistic boobs and huge eyes that need a welding mask not sunglasses aren't really my style any more =)

That. Sure, catgirls and nekos are largely an internet based community. But, not all of us here are part of that group.
As such, I agree that I dislike having those views pushed into my face. It's comparable to propaganda being put there. And I don't necessarily mean what has been large, memorable propaganda distributions in war, but those little flyers given just before you vote in an election.

I hope I'm not being too vulgar in saying that I don't want to see, think or know about people's fetishes on these forums. I don't want to see the breasts of a caricature taking up 600 pixels of the regulated signature width, and then see their face managing to fit in in the last 100 pixels. It's unrealistic. But I'm not trying to debunk anyone's individual preferences, I'm just saying I don't want to have to see that. Imagine if others that weren't of the neko liking started doing it. There'd be bans and changes as well as complaining posts and rule reminders all over the forums.

So a little less double standards, maybe. Though I don't mean to allow the hypothetical display of non-neko fetishes.

I wouldn't like to see flashing images like Mal's as someone's signature. That being said, I don't mind a bit of soft, or just sensible animation in signatures.

And to think 63% of my posts are in Flood...

What about my signature? Is it acceptable?*Awaits judgement*

I think that the max. sig size should be decreased,

the size of OMG ivan's banner is good, or mine. if chap got rid of all those quotes it'll be ideal size as well.

i hate the big cluttery sigs that are 4x larger than the post itself.

or we could introduce something: if your post is smaller than your sig, it won't let you post. if you have an affinity for posting one liners or "lol" then decrease your sig size, while if you are an elite FL'er who expresses his opinions through a grand essay, then you deserve a big sig.

Nah, just nah to both Ideas. 250 Pixels give me a Lot of Freedom for Art.
