Leo sighs quietly.. knowing that Shizuma shouldn't fly as long as she's pregnant.. He got the ignition card in the pocket of his jacket..hiding it.. He's getting a bit nervous trying to not make her angry.. " Uhm well... Listen baby, the doc said you shouldn't fly... as long as your.. pregnant.. And I know ! It's damn hard for you.. but please.. for the sake of our child.. don't.. I got your ignition card.."

Shizuma raises an eyebrow "Give me my ignition card..." she stands up and limps towards Leo "When I got shot I wasn't even in my ship, so that one doesn't count!" She trips and falls back onto the bed.

Just about to feel happy about her promotion, Kiri felt the atmospere rapidly change as Leo told shizuma that she wasnt allowed to fly for the rest of the pregnancy, Kiri looked worriedly at both her parents, she shivered under the blankets

Shizuma just stares at him, her left eyelid twitches a bit but she manages to contain herself. "fine..." she gets up and limps towards the door, she smashes her fist against the doorframe out of anger. Muttering in pain she leaves the room.

*1 month later*
Kiri lay on her bed, looking up at the ceiling, she had gotten unwanted sick leave from police duty for a while and was to rest and try to recover from overworking herself. She lay in her own clothes, clothes that her new mother and father had bought specially for her, she hugged her arms together as if to hug the clothes and the warm feeling of safety they bestowed her. Kiri breathed slowly whispering to herself, "almost time to change my medicine" she looked at her right arm and sighed, she slowly looked back at the cieling whilst soothing her pained arm, gently prodding and slowly stroking the skin around her implant.
Her BPA promotion certificate hung on the wall to her right, next to the personal recommendation from Commander Silsbury. Besides Kiriko's pistol and stuffed Neko-kun toy, these were the only 2 personalised objects in the room.
Kiri struggled a little and sat up resting on the headrest behind her, she blinked slowly "I better.. change my medicine before its... too late..." just as she said that she felt a small wave of dizziness flush through her head, she shook her head slowly at first and then quickly when the feeling didnt subside, she shivered "w...wait..i..m..not..read.y.." trying to get off her bed she fell to the ground with a loud thud off the right hand side of her bed.
Kiri opened her eyes and saw nothing, her room was gone, her bed was gone, she was back into the darkness that extended infinitely in all directions, she stood quickly looking around, whereas in reality she lay motionless on the floor of her bedroom, Kiri began to feel a cold presence, she trembled uncontrollably, crouching down she placed her hands on her head "i.i..it..its.." she stutted many times trying to speak over her fear, the apple in her throat eventually blocked all of her voice and her mouth trembled silently opening and closing, but with no sound to speak of. Kiri felt the cold flowing over her shoulder, she knew all to well what stood behind her now.
Kiri knelt on the floor in the darkness, faint whispering could be heard from behind her, she absolutely dared not look, she shook her head trying to scream "go away! go away!" but still nothing, she had been muted, she felt 4 long fingers coil round her ribcage, they were cold as a glacier, she gasped as they touched her back, they coiled round over her chest, over her stomach and ribs, she didnt move, she just knelt on the floor trembling, almost as if there was a hint she finally wanted it all to end.
The long fingers slowly began to sink into her body taking their frost bitten feelings of dread and anguish deep into Kiri once again, looking for her soul, searching, clawing. memories flushed Kiriko's mind, her uncle and grandfather, the old ship she used to serve on, Blood Dragons, Kyoto, the GC, captain Villia, Mason, Captain Benjamin of the Niagara Falls, Sakura-chan, the DSS, Reaver ships, Clytemnestra, Alice-oneesama, Leo-tousama, and Shizuma-kasama, slowly her breathing dulled as the reaper got closer and closer to its destination...

As Shizuma walks passed Kiri's room she notices her laying on the floor, as she stopped to look she understood something was wrong. She ran inside the room and searched for the medicin, her hands search everywhere and finally find a new one inside Kiri's stuffed toy "hai..." she mumbles as she kneels down and opens the tiny hatch on Kiri's arm, she pulls out the empty canister and pushes in the new one. She closes the hatch again and gently picks kiri up, laying her back on the bed. Shizuma walks into the bathroom and returns with a moist towel which she uses to put on kiri's forehead. "I hope you feel better now..." she says as she sits down on the side of the bed.

Leo arrives back home after a long day of flying. He even bought a ring for his beloved Shizuma, since they want to marry soon. He walked into the house through the main gate and walks straight into the living room, trying to spot Shizuma. But she wasn't around there, so he's walking to the backyard, still nothing.He sighs... "Damnit...where is she ?"... He walks back into the living room, upstairs and looks at the open door to Kiris room. He's slowly approaching the entrance of the room, lurking around the corner he's seeing Shizuma and Kiri on the bed. He knew something happened and it's a bad timing to show Shizuma the ring. He puts the ring back into his pocket and walks in. "Uhm...baby ? What happened ?" He's walking towards the bed and sits down on the side of it, next to Shizuma, looking at Kiri laying there with the towel on her forehead.

Shizuma looks up at him "I found her unconcious on the floor... I changed her medicin and put her back on the bed" She looks at Kiri and feels her pulse. "it's still weak... But I think she's getting better."

Unbenknown to her parents Kiriko had been out that day despite orders to rest, to try and prove she was strong by walking all by herself, she had the Clytemnestra copy her the address of "Doc Holliday's" "Tombstone estate" which was a fair 9 miles from the Home under the sun residence, she also printed of a small letter which she wanted to give to him, she had left very early this morning trying not to wake anybody, Kiri had wanted to meet him and to thank him for allowing her to stay on Gran Canaria despite being a officer of the Bretonian Police.
Kiri lay on the bed breathing silently, colour slowly returning to her cheeks, fatigued beyond concievable limits for sombody with her condition, after walking the whole 9 miles and back, it was no wonder her illness progressed as fast as it did this time, normally she would have the strength to fight it so she could administer her medicine, but she overestimated herself and pushed it too far in her never ending struggle to be stronger.
A dull beeping could be heard coming from Kiri's pocket followed by Cly's voice ":::I have been sent a mew message, forwarding to you:::" together with a dull buzzing from its vibrations, she had recieved a forwarded message from Cly on her new Neural Net Pad, somthing she had asked for from the BPA. the original message from a "Dr. John Henry Holliday". Kiriko didnt stir at all and continued to sleep soundly with the cloth resting gently on her head.
