This is not a topic where people should be pointing fingers. Just believe in Role Play and let it be.
And honestly, if you're getting so upset that your anger builds up to hatred, you should not play for awhile or not play at all.
Oh and since you're still reading, don't use the term 'gank' unless someone stole from you, sold you fake crack cocaine or hurt your feelings. If you are overpowered in the game you have a tactical choice to run away.

Twisp, I appreciate voicing your opinion. You'll always find negativity if you're looking for it, but the only thing we can do to attempt to stop this hatred is to set an example for those who are watching.
A negative reaction to a negative action will only continue the pattern.

It doesn't seems we are going anywhere, I just try to be someone nice, nothing else. I am not going to consider entire faction target just because I hate some of their folks because they beated me last day. Such behavior is Kinder garden-Graded hating '' You hit me- I hit you even more cause I can no matter how cheap it is just to make you mad'' , its getting old .... get over it.

Well I'm a bit tired of all the pirate haters and all the anti-pirate threads that pop up every time a trader or miner looses even the most minute amount. I went to pirate a miner today for a grand total of 100k ... he F1'd on me. It gets old filing reports all the time on stuff like that. So the alternative is to hit this person more often. So yeah ... I get pissed at traders and miners that don't role play. About the only 2 things I can do is submit rule violation reports or pirate them till they can't stand it anymore.

I'm noticing quite a few more people leaving than normal lately. Including just about an entire faction.
It would be in the community's and developers' interest to stop brushing it off like it's nothing.
But that'll never happen.
