Rp-er of the 2007 on Discovery - uspatriotsf - 12-29-2007 Honestly, there are too many favorites I have here to nominate just one. I know sounds like a cop out, but it's true. The best RPer? How about this community, as most RP stories take more than one person to develop. Rp-er of the 2007 on Discovery - sn!p3r - 12-29-2007 I dunno who to choose, i see tons of good rpers out there. i would have to say frozen, his recent story was really well written and i enjoyed reading it. Rp-er of the 2007 on Discovery - Marburg - 12-29-2007 Earlier today, I thought this thread was a really good idea in the respect that it's good word of mouth for other peoples stories. I STILL think it's a good idea...but, I see the 'Friend Trap' now. I, & a number of others threw in a vote today, so it's at the very least, not a BAD idea. Just thinking out loud here: a specific thread that allows for people to talk about other peoples stories specifically would not only give peoples' stories more visibilaty, but could help with the whole 'brainstorm' process by riffing off of each other & maybe help 'Goose the Muse' so to speak. (And I said riffing, not ripping. :P) It's too bad that favoritisim IS an issue though...I'll think a while on looking for some sort of middle ground. Rp-er of the 2007 on Discovery - Ichtan - 12-29-2007 Well I DO see the friend trap, BUT I've never spoken a word to Virus in my life, I just really like his roleplay. If most people are like that then I guess it's ok. Rp-er of the 2007 on Discovery - sn!p3r - 12-29-2007 im sorta friends with frozen but thats nto why i voted for him.. ive read TONS of rp stories.. and i just liked his. No favoritism or anything like that Rp-er of the 2007 on Discovery - Riley Mackenzie - 12-29-2007 ' Wrote:im sorta friends with frozen but thats nto why i voted for him.. ive read TONS of rp stories.. and i just liked his. No favoritism or anything like that Myself, I voted for Mal...not because I talked to him a number of times, but because, imho his RP is something to emulate. (but it was a pretty tough call 'tween him, Drey, & Rage...well done dudes!:yahoo:) Rp-er of the 2007 on Discovery - chopper - 12-29-2007 Well, i'm a person that argues with Treewyrm A LOT, but I still voted for him:P And i forgot that scientist guy, cambridge institute of Xenology and Nomads, something like that. That is awesome as well. Another one that fell in my mind was Unit-"somenumbers", for his explanation of his long forgotten RP-ing of a Cylon, w/o a shield and all. That was even more awesome. But, because it is a thread of overall RP of one person, then my vote goes to Treewyrm, for the Harbringer RP-ing telepathy, and Keepers RP story. If the thread name was "Best RP for a single character", my vote would prolly go to scientist guy, or Unit. And i don't see anything bad in this thread. It's like Oscar. Someone gets popularity, someone doesn't. Unless someone takes this to emotionally, then it needs to be locked:yes: Rp-er of the 2007 on Discovery - Praetyre - 12-29-2007 Magoo! and Unit-Sk855 are the ones you are looking for. Rp-er of the 2007 on Discovery - Fellow Hoodlum - 12-29-2007 Not trying to put a dampener on this, but aside from the 'buddies' bit of it ... How many of you actually read all of the roleplay from the whole of 2007 ? There was one hell of a lot of it, and to be honest, most of the people posting here didn't see at least the first half of the year, and a fair few, the first three quarters. Difficult to judge those who were a great addition to this community, and for various reasons, have moved on to different things. Everyone who has posted roleplay stories in the last year has added to this community immensely, and we could not have done without them. Thank you all ... Hoodlum |
