Zhane chuckled and nodded..
"It would work.. How ever, when we arrive.. The battle will still be going on.. It has already started, we are going, to lead the fleet already there.. Provide support and additional firepower.."
He motioned at Pergesin..
"A antimatter 'mine field' would work to maximize damage to their fighters and bombers.. But for us to carry enough charges to make a difference we wouldn't make it in time to make a difference.."
"How ever... Bringing as much Antimatter charges as possible with us is an excellent suggestion.. And to be honest I am unaware if the fleet there have prepared a minefield or not, but as far as I have been made aware the fleet at Eradanis is attempting to break the Scorn's approach by using the Asteroid field close to the planet they use as a HQ.."
He sighs..
"I'm not gonna lie.. The information we have is.. Scetchy at best.."
Zhane disliked not knowing all he could, he almost felt naked as he tried to concentrate on the matter at hand..
"Any other questions?"

At that moment a Dark figure entered the room. It was covered in dark clothing and the low light made it hard to discern any facial features apart from the eyes which we're like black orbs shinning in the light. This figure stopped just short of the tables main light and removed a hood as he stepped into it, revealing a grotesque, burnt and blackened face, mended with Metal and a mechanical Jaw.
"Greetings Brothers... And Sisters" he said in a low dreary voice that stayed in a single tone constantly as he looked across the room to Isabel.
"I am Scientia Quaesitor and I believe i have missed something important here. Would anyone like to bring up to speed as to what has happened?"

Collins looked at the newcomer. "You're late, but I guess you could join us if the Overlord allows it, however I doubt he wants to repeat himself." He looked upon Isabel, then Zhane and shrugged it off as usual.

Pergesin was leaning towards the wall.
"I don't want to sound complaining, but anyone of you considered that they already started fighting and we are still sitting in the middle of Sirius?"
Alec drunk again
"Because if you didn't, it's going to take us month at least to get there with such a fleet and load."

Isabel merely listened to the questions. She had none of her own. She smiled had the man who had just entered. Frowning as Collins' spoke above his station.
"Hello Scientia Quaesitor. I am glad that you were chosen to join us." She bowed slightly.
"Soldiers," Isabel looked at the group of EDF within the briefing. "This is Acolyte Quaesitor. He is here, on behalf of the Animus, at my personal invite. Treat him as you would treat me."
She laughed.
"Apart from you, Alec..."

The Legion landed ontop of the Exodus ground base, several cables attached itself to the surface, a loud whimpering noise could be heard from outside the giant ship's hull..
Minutes passed in the meeting room, Zhane held up a hand and had a smile on his face each time someone tried to talk or ask what was going on.. He simply said: "It's ok.. Just..Wait.."
After a few minutes clamping from metal boots could be heard in the hallway outside the meeting room..
The door opened to show a large robotic-like humanoid with a plated armor and helmet covering what appears at first glance be metallic skin.
It entered the room and looked at each of them, staring a full 3 seconds at each, any AI or those keeping track of it's stares notice that only three seconds per individual is made.
After each and everyone have been scanned, as it would appear logical to assume that this.. 'Thing' did, it spoke. and as it did.. It spoke as if a thousand voices, female, male, young and old all at the same time, coordinated to the last nano-second, spoke in a harmonic voice..
"We overheard the breifing on Route"
It moved with surprising agility across the room, only thing making it appear much heavier and clumsier then it was, would be it's metal feet, boots hitting the deck below it. It moved around the room speaking as it went.
"Situation is as follows, a short repetition for us to logicly calculate possibilities and explain situation to ourselves again.. Repetition is a good thing.. Overlord.."
It nodded at Zhane and he waved his hand to the thing to continue..
"The Scorn, an enemy which our Creator's prophets foretold and warned about, is coming to destroy us because we are it's creations.. It's creators creations.. Our creator's mistakes are now haunting us, and it is our destiny and duty in the Creators name, to strike back.. And destroy them.. As they would us.. But not only destroy them for us, but to correct what was made in error.."
It bowed it's head slightly
"Our Creator made an error, it was to late to fix.. We are what can fix it.."
"Eradanis lays outside known space.. A month's travel by normal means.. There our forces have waited, our bothers of steel and digital thought have built defenses to battle just these enemies, the Scorn."
"They now need and require our leadership, for decades have made their minds.. Slower.."
"We travel to fight.. We travel to lead.. And we, the Legion, travel to prevail..."
It then nodded at Zhane and stood still..

Zhane nodded at Legion.. His eyes now focusing on Quaesitor..
"I hope that repetition was enough.. I am quite sure the others will fill in any blanks when we are on our way.."
He nodded at Pergesin as he was about to ask again.. 'How do we get there'
"How do we get there in time you asked.."
"As some or most of you know, I have been away for some weeks.. For what, I did not tell, but I can tell you now it was to oversee the final construction of a new experimental warship for the EDF.."
He back away as he pressed a button on the table in front of him..

The holographic display of the vessel appeared over the table and showed everyone in the room..
"This is the Agamemnom, an experimental Battlecruiser made to service as an strike carrier for EDF assaults, but most importantly.. It carries the Enclave experimental Jump Drive 'Celeritas'.. With this vessel we can shorten the trip from one month to 3 days.."
He looked around the room one last time and asked.
"Any comments, questions?"
Zhane smiled, he felt excited.. His work, twice now, completed..

Collins and his squad were quite impressed with this new Battlecruiser. "Quite an impressive vessel my Lord, a catchy name too." the rest of the squad nodded as Collins finished his sentence.

Scientia looked quite impressed with the ship design, very impressed and yet he knew something would be wrong with this so he asked in his usual droning voice.
"How Many?........ A Jump Drive powerful enough to cut short a journey by that much will be extremely massive and take up space needed for holding many crucial fighters. So how many people can go on this ship?"

He felt his eyes drawn to Scientia and nodded at him..
"You are correct, the jump drive takes up most of the cargo space. Hence why we can only bring a small ammount of antimatter charges, the fighters of the Sierra Wing and the soldiers and engineers here in this room.. Along with Legion and two of it's others.. "
He looked around at each of the men and at Isabel..
"We are the only ones that can go.. But, when we get there, there will be ships for us to commandeer.. A little different from we are used to I am sure but.."
He closed his eyes and asked yet again.
"Any other questions?"
