Approved graphics mods - Pancakes - 04-11-2011 my ISP is still naughty. Approved graphics mods - Echo 7-7 - 04-13-2011 ' Wrote:So ... if I send you the download link to my mod ... you'll look into it and maybe give me the official "okay, use it" ... right? If you send me the mod, I will put it on my computer and try it out to see if: a) it works. b) it's nice/useful to use. I am not Cannon (really). Link it here first to see if it isn't going to cause havoc with the server. Approved graphics mods - J.Miller - 04-13-2011 Maybe after a few graphic mods have been approved you could add them into the FLMM discovery mod and make it optional, just like the Enb mod. This would make it a little easier for people to get those mods. Approved graphics mods - Toaster - 04-13-2011 By the way, I've been using the Realistic Lighting Mod for a few days now, and I love it. Even though it's difficult to find one's personal favorite-setting. Also, it can make some fights a bit more difficult, since sometimes you can't actually see the enemy due to the shadowing. But altogether it's really nice, makes many objects look better and gives the universe a more realistic look. And it sure beats the hell out of the quad-light-source system (or whatever it was) that vanilla FL uses. Approved graphics mods - Valinor - 04-13-2011 Try with 25%. Works better for me. Approved graphics mods - Echo 7-7 - 04-14-2011 I've currently got it cranked all the way down to 10% and it still works fine for me. The side of the ship which is out of direct light is almost black which is a nice touch of realism, and it's near perfect for planets. When fighting I personally don't find it much of a problem due to the rather obvious HUD targeting system. Now all we need is someone to redo all the star spheres... Approved graphics mods - J.Miller - 04-14-2011 I installed the mod a few days ago as well and I must say I wasn't really impressed... I had expected much much more than just a little sun and shadow rendering... It doesn't really make the universe look more realistic, and after I activated and had forgotten about it I didn't even notice a difference... It's cool but completely unnecessary. Also @ Franklin: You do not need to bold everything you say, we are not illiterate. Approved graphics mods - Ice-H - 04-16-2011 What about this: http://adoxa.110mb.com/freelancer/hudshift.zip Makes the HUD sit in the corners of the screen, even with widescreen resolution. Approved graphics mods - Echo 7-7 - 04-17-2011 Quote:What about this: http://adoxa.110mb.com/freelancer/hudshift.zip That would really be excellent. /summon Cannon for approval, and I'll get to testing. Also, Michael, link your mini-mod here if you want the Cannon Seal of Approval .
