Hellfire Rockets will save you about 40-60 seconds which is not a lot when fighting anything non-snubby with an armour on your own. Considering that bombers guns are not very useful when fighting anything that can shoot back it's definitely worth it. Even more when you fly in pack.

I've been considering it. Only reason why I haven't yet is because I'm old fashioned and adhere to habits. Still, I rarely use the bomber guns anyways relying primarily on the SNAC and Nukes to do most of the work. I've joked many times about just removing the guns to give my ship a clean look since they seem to only be there to add pixels to my ship. It shouldn't be a hard trade off for me to put Rockets on my bomber. We'll see.

They give you that little bit of extra time to deal damage while your SNAC is recharging,

I love my HRGs They're awesome. Got me a kill against a fellow today. Was happy. Just blew away a transport with one too, could have used the snac, but I just love the sound of the HRG going off.
