BAF proposed the Dublin to be still under Queen's jurisdiction but with MOLLY GOVERNOR in Charge. That could lead to future neutral and possibly different kind of relations. BAF even proposed future DUNKIRK to be given to mollies as symbol of future friendly relations. The mollies rejected that as well as many more proposals which Followed the RP LORE.
This is the attitude we get when we try to roleplay as mollys. Our entire faction is based on the fact that we want a Free Dublin. A "Queen's Jurisdiction" isn't a free Dublin, that's bowing to the people who enslaved us for labor. Graves station? Oh, yeah. It's BMM. See previous statement about enslavement. We can take care of Dublin, and could have, but the BAF wanted to hold onto precious "Sovereignty" over the system with GALLIA breathing down its neck the whole time.
We rejected the majority of your proposals because a Molly Governor over Dublin... under the Queen... is still not what our ultimate goal is. We don't want to be part of Bretonia, you kicked us to the curb when you allowed BMM to do what they did and still support them. So, no. We'd be content being our own mini-house in that one system(and londonderry) living our own merry lives out, even fighting side-by-side to BAF. All it took was BAF saying, "Look, we know BMM screwed up and enslaved you. We know that we've never gotten along, but there's a bigger threat out there then our petty grudge. Take Dublin, we'll offer you this dunkirk as a sign of friendship and pull out of that system. Maybe we'll get access to mine again in it, maybe we won't. We don't care, though, because we're friends again and we're going to fight Gallia."
No that didn't happen as you can imagine, BAF decided it'd rather shoot mollys in the ass than get another ally.

Again, acting with foreknowledge that this avenue is bad, so we take the best avenue really isn't all that great.
Sometimes factions take poor decisions, which is part of roleplay.
And from purely a roleplay standpoint, Bretonia prevailing is highly unlikely.

Both of you are right but dont you see what gona happen after that? Mollies will have to turn from unfriendly to neutral-friendly with Bretonia. Even if Dublin is in their hand with lets say 1 dunkirk as symbol, the mollies will not have the possibility to pirate anymore cuz they would break the treaty.
Molly faction will turn in to Freelancers. When I stated that to Jeni she didnt liked it either nor any of you molly players would like it. Right?
That is why such kind of "giving away" Dublin is not an option.

Yup that's a valid point. A faction fulfilling it's goals...kills the faction. Unless you find new unattainable goals to fill in the gaps.

And I completely agree with you here, Fallen. A BAF/Molly partnership has killed every single previous Molly faction. It's useless to cry over spilled milk, really, next patch you're getting steamrolled by the Gallics either way... along with the Mollys more than likely, as they probably aren't good for their word on treaty's. (They aren't)

I need to point out that the guys in the Bretonian Parliament tried to draft something with the Mollys, even giving what Mollys wanted. It was rejected rightup and I should say aggresivelly as well because they feared that this will have consequences to the ingame [M]olly faction.
So it's not that we didn't give what Mollys wanted, it's that they weren't going to accept anything we were going to give them.

That is the only problem. And that is why we just cant do what Molly wanted unless you guys want to kill the Molly faction?
That is why trying to work out something, example was with the Molly Governer, could lead to some different relations which may end in the same level where we started - unfriendly. Then the molly governer could try to recapture Dublin or something like that in RP. The molly faction gona survive and keep their REAL RP.
But if you guys want to try your luck with GRN, dont get me wrong, we dont have problem with that. How it will end is up to the devs (lore writers) and our in-game actions.

The issue is/was mostly with the mollies agreeing. I don't think anyone questions the GRN doing the sensible thing by removing one of their many enemies from the board.
