RE: The Blood Money - Freeport One Edition - - Tyler - 02-09-2013 His feet are being dragged after him as the guards head for the restroom. Samy starts coughing up mucus and laughs in a raspy tone. As they turn around the corner you can hear the laughter, faint, but still there. Then, all of a sudden, a wild not human like scream escapes from the restroom, presumably Samy being poured by a bucket of ice cold water. Some shouting is heard, a loud thump follows and the guards walk out dusting off their hands. Some heavy Gallic curses escape the restroom now and than and the sound of a shower being turned on. RE: The Blood Money - Freeport One Edition - - Kaze - 02-22-2013 Titanium looked at Reynolds.
"Very well." She grabbed her PDA and typed something."Here you have the standard contract to sign as an associate of the Reaver Mercenary Company. Basically, in the middle of those eight hundred and seventy five pages, it says we own your life and your death if you ever try to sully, butcher or any other way harm the Company. Money, love, objectives, it isn't what matters in the Company. What it matters is that we exist to fill a need in the universe. And that is killing in the name of." She threw the PDA to his lap. "Sign, and you will enter a special brand of hell, Mr. Reynolds. But it will be a rich one." Titanium grabbed the Bloody Mary and cheered with Coquelicot while Reynolds looked at the PDA. RE: The Blood Money - Freeport One Edition - - Haste - 02-22-2013 Reynolds quickly browsed through the contract. "As if I'm going to read through that many pages," he thought, not really paying attention to the pages flashing by. With an overly dramatic gesture, he signed the contract. He looked at Titanium, and pointed at the PDA. "Now what?" RE: The Blood Money - Freeport One Edition - - Silver - 02-22-2013 A punch flew to Reynolds nape. And suddenly all he saw was stars.
"Weeeell, bub. Now you have to die." A voice, seductive, but with a hint of danger was heard from his behind."Kiddin'. Well.. It's true to be honest. You do have to die." Silver sat in the couch and whistled to the bartender. "Daaa-aaamn. The Taus were busy as frack. So this guy is the new blood?" Silver asked, pointing at Reynolds. One of the waitresses ran over with a bottle of Jack Daniels and two glasses. "So.. What's your name, boyo? And what the frack did you do?" RE: The Blood Money - Freeport One Edition - - VoluptaBox - 02-22-2013 Vincent cheered back and lit a cigarette for himself. Martin, now the fun starts. Want one? He said, offering him a cigarette. The poor bastard didn't even get a chance to grab one. As soon as he noticed Silver, Vincent covered his throat and nodded slightly. Evenin', he said, with crackling voice. RE: The Blood Money - Freeport One Edition - - Haste - 02-22-2013 He rubbed the back of his neck as his vision returned. "What?" He shook his head, trying to get rid of the stinging pain. "Die?" He looked around to see what hit him, and noticed Silver. "Martin.. Martin Reynolds." He frowned, and, with something that was supposed be a grin, added: "Pleasure to meet you too." RE: The Blood Money - Freeport One Edition - - VoluptaBox - 02-22-2013 Vincent lit another cigarette, then put it into Martin's mouth. This will help with the headache. RE: The Blood Money - Freeport One Edition - - Silver - 02-22-2013 She eyed the man up and down for a couple of seconds and shrugged.
"Uh. Why you askin' for a job in Hell, love?" Silver poured the bottle into the two glasses and shoved one to Vincent. "'Cause you see.. I'm Silver. That's Titanium. And you can bet Sangria's commin'. Add to that, Coque here, Morena and Spartan there, Aodh is probably around too.. And you get six or seven Reavers under the same roof. And that can only spell one thing, love." Her grin was wolfish, nay, deadly. "Trouble..." She replied and then gulped the contents of the glass in one go. RE: The Blood Money - Freeport One Edition - - Tyler - 02-22-2013 "Merde!" Samy shouts from the bathroom. "Mon clothes! They're ruined!" Some splashing is heard and the sound of the garbage chute being opened and closed. Wearing just his pants, soaked and filthy, but better smelling before his involuntarily shower, Samy stepped back into the bar area. He signed for the waitress and lit a half soggy cigarette. After attempting to light it he looked to Vincent, raising his eyebrow. "Je could use one of those." He took up a seat overlooking the bunch of death dealers and sat back, waiting for the waitress and Vincent's response. RE: The Blood Money - Freeport One Edition - - Haste - 02-22-2013 Martin inhaled the smoke just a little too enthousiastically. Inbetween coughs, he said: "Help? You said this would help?" After he'd recovered, he continued with an ironic tone: "And I thought Silver here was the one who's trying to kill me." He turned to face Silver, and answered: "Why? For the money, of course. My pay at the LPI is - or was - just about enough for a roof over my head - and a small one at that." He grinned, "According to what I've been told, this is the place to be for men who'd rather get paid properly." He paused, put the sigarette back in his mouth, and pulled in some smoke again. His face still turned a little green, but he didn't make as much of a fool of himself as he had before. "Now, what was this about me dying?" |
