' Wrote:Recent engagements with [X]-Vlad have warranted placing him on the SF freelancer wanted list. Continue offering assistance to traders passing through the Omega's (good show Sunergos). If destruction of pirate groups isn't possible delay them enough to allow the traders through than withdraw.

Sorry sir, he's a little hard to hit with a tertiary turret, will remedy that as quickly as possible, given server up-time

SF Message Dump - Killer_Dave - 01-06-2007

Transmit To: SF Personel
From: SF-SFFG-Killer_Dave

Completed trade run to refit with new weapons and returned to Cambridge. I am pleased to report that the weapons system upgrade to the Killer_Dave are almost complete.

Upon arrival in Cambridge we made contact with the vessel [AW]Ross. Queried the vessel as to purpose in the system and advised that they would need to exit the system immediatly due to ongoing hostilities with AW. The vessel complied and jumped to Omega-5.

We were not able to get into scanning range before the ship jumped.

Killer Dave out.

OOC: the name change has been completed and i now have the official tag:)

[-Orion-]8B@ll scanned carrying artifacts (previously) and light arms (today). With assistance from =BSG= fighters, an impound order was issued and executed. Payment was received, but subject refused to yield cargo. Impound status lifted since cargo (3rd trip) was legit and payment was received. Ship is to be watched for smuggling, if found smuggling again another impound order will be issued.

SF Message Dump - Ant - 01-07-2007

Transmit to: All SF personnel
Comm ID: Lieutenant Carlaw, SFGB FireAnt

The SS_minnow was detected running artifacts through Cambridge earlier but evaded pursuit after being challenged.

X-Vlad again made an appearance. Unfortunately, the bomber appears to have made most of our fleet obsolete.
An SF Gunboat and Destroyer were both taken out.
The maneuverability of the tiny bomber makes it a very difficult target for the larger ships. The unrivalled firepower available to the small ship also allows it to easily penetrate even the heaviest of shields and armour.

Templar Echo2 and bomber Beta2 were eventually able to respond, missiles proving effective in downing the rogue bomber.

Hopefully the tech teams will be able to respond to this threat to our capital ships...somehow.
