*Do to my unfamiliarity with my systems and an error in the computer core caused by damage sustained in Alberta, my sensor logs have been corrupted. Unfortunately gun cam recordings were lost. But I was able to retrieve the audio logs.

Patrol Report 18/05/827

Today I met Lt.Commander David Nelson at West Point Academy today. He assisted me in re-coding my transponder and IFF for my guardian and getting me familiarized with its systems. However while we were doing this we received a call from =LSF=Bobcat requesting assistance. We scrambled as fast as we could to Ontario, however by the time we arrived the fight was already over.

Shortly after this we RV'ed with [LIA]-Sanjo.Jiraki and continued patrolling in Ontario. While doing this I received a transmission over a secure channel from a freelancer by the name of Ahmad.Emerson. He claimed that he had sighted a Rogue Scylla in Pennsylvania and that it was shooting down civilians in orbit of Erie. Lt.Cmd Nelson broke formation to request assistance. We arrived on the scene to find the Scylla named Boter terrorizing civilian ships. It seemed he repaired that scrap heap after we disabled it in Alberta the day before. Thankfully Lt.Cmd Nelson succeeded in getting help as the LNS-Marcus.Walker arrived to assist us. We promptly engaged the Skylla and disabled it.

The fun however did not stop there. While refueling and rearming at West Point a Reaver showed up. Having not been briefed on what Reavers were I was not sure what to expect. But Saber's are not regularly flown by law-abiding citizens. So I immediately went to high alert. However it seems it was called in across Liberty wide comms, as we soon had 1st Fleet, LSF and Police ships on the scene. Since it seemed other departments had this Reaver covered, and after I was told that Reavers were a notoriously skilled contract killers and BH's, I was more than glad to be out of there and continuing our patrols. As a in-experienced cadet pilot I do not fancy my chances against a Reaver.

We left the LSF to deal with the Reaver and instead we were ordered to provide escort for USI transports shipping critical hardware to Prudhoe Skunkworks. We arrived in Ontario and immediately sensors went red. A Legion Arbiter called Infernal was in the system. It was broadcasting propaganda messages on the system channel. We promptly broke formation with the Universal vessels and headed to intercept. We commed for reinforcements while we stalled the hostile. Thankfully the Jeremiah:Sawer responded to our call and aided us. However the vessel still proved too much for a pair of Guardians and a Defiant. Lt.Cmd Nelson broke off the engagement to comm for assistance. Not long after the [LN]-Marcus:Carter entered the system to provide assistance. However this still proved to be insufficient to take down this Arbiter. The Jeremiah Sawyer was heavily damaged by a mine. It looked bleak. Finally about 20 mins into the engagement the LSFC:Seattle finally arrived to assist us. Finally our combined firepower was enough to disable the hostile BS. The Jeremiah Sawyer will have to be towed out of the system.

We returned to our original task of escorting the USI convoy which had waited for us at the Alaska gate. On our way back from Alaska we were joined by Rear Admiral Ayato who joined us for the escort. While checking the all clear on the NY side of the gate my sensors lit up again. Another Skylla. The_Flying_Dutchman. Once more. Another rogue scrap heap was promptly disabled by our combined firepower.

We returned to our escort duty once more. Again hostile activity was high in Ontario. A Lane Hacker was sighted on my sensors and I broke to intercept. However I could not close the distance and lost the target. The remainder of the trip to Alberta was mostly uneventful. However we returned to Ontario and encountered an Ahoudori class vessel named The.Ship. Sensors showed the ship was carrying slaves on board. We moved to intercept. We hailed the pilot and he dropped his cargo. However he continued to threaten us and the Admiral gave us the all clear to open fire and destroy the vessel. It was promptly disabled.

On our way to rejoin the convey we again ran into hostiles at the Cali>NY gate. A vessel ID'ed as Disrupter. He attempted to run but Lt.Cmd Nelson and I swiftly dropped him out of cruise speed. Admiral Ayato ordered us to proceed to the covoy as there was no need for 3 ships to engage the hostile. The Admiral proceeded to engage the hostile.

Our escort duty continued into the early hours of the morning without further incident. By the time I knocked off it was the 19th and I had logged over 4 hours of space time!

While returning from a patrol in California I encountered the Ahoudori class vessel named The.Ship again. However. This time he was not carrying slaves. But this time marines. Which he described as "military slaves" that they want to "experiment on" He then claimed he would be merciful. He spaced all 135 marines and opened fire on them. Killing them ALL. I stared in shock for what must have been at least a minute. Trying to process the murder I had witnessed. Once I had come to my senses I immediately transferred all available power to my cruise engines to try close the distance. However I still lost him. This vessel will be on my watch list from now on.

After this I continued my patrol. Quite shaken by the atrocity I witnessed. However I did not have long to think about it as my sensors detected a Legion Arbiter near to planet Manhattan. I immediately broadcast a system wide message informing civiliantraffic that Manhattan was a hazard zone and that all civilian vessels were to avoid Manhattan airspace. I then requested reinforcements. At which point the gunboat Defiant, Cruiser Gathu and LPI-SWAT-Allenwood responded to the hails. Unfortunately due to severe ionic damage that I had not picked up in my preflight checks, my vessel went offline. And I drifted helplessly in orbit of Manhattan while the Arbiter Helf.On.The.Shelf was disabled, or destroyed

In the end I was towed away from Manhattan back to West Point. Once my guardian was repaired a few hours later I launched from west point. The Cerulean.Reaver was BACK. Lt. Hopkins was already on the scene. I am not sure what went down between this Reaver and the LSF yesterday. But his Saber was still intact so I guess he either defeated the LSF or the LSF let him go. Not sure which. I am sure LT. Hopkins will include more information in his report to command.

After this encounter we docked at West Point as we were already late for my session on the Conneticut simulator.

After a few hours of simulator training we recieved word on secure channel of transports in trouble in Ontario. I launched from WP immediatly and set course for Ontario. I set course for the Alberta jump hole where I met up with the Kuskokwim.Bay a Defiant GB. They had stopped the Rogues and were preparing to open fire on a Skylla called LR-Legendary.Foe and a snub called Jack.London. A third Rogue called Jeffrey.Junkins was already engaged with a Forlorn bounty hunter and was disabled pretty quickly. We engaged the hostiles and I immediatly set about dismantling Jack.London's hull. His vessel crumpled under the sustained fire from my guardian. I don't even think he had time to activate his ejection system. Thus I have logged my first official kill.

After the destruction of Jack.London I immediatly turned my guns to the Legendary.Foe. Word of the fight had spread through Liberty channels as towards the end of it the Skylla's hull was collapsing under the combined fire of four ships. Suffice to say. It was dealt with.

Returning to West Point to rearm and refuel I met with LPI-Isla.Nazumaki and an OS&C vessel called TE~Red~Velvet~Club. While rearming I detected a hostile on sensors. It was the Flying Dutchmann again. I intercepted him and fired off CD disabling his cruise engines. LPI-Isla.Nazumaki arrived with the Interdictor class Macmannaman. However while still attempting to hail the Dutchman, they opened fire on LPI-Isla.Nazumaki. Her shields could not weather the Skylla's fire and her ship was destroyed. Thankfully I managed to retrieve her escape pod. Once the Dutchman was destroyed I returned her pod to West Point.

I doubt after that The Dutchman will ever return to Liberty space.
After that engagement I planned to end my patrol. But 10 minutes later an Arbiter was sighted in the system. I scrambled immediatly and went to intercept. I attempted to request assistance on secure lines. But it seems the com lines were jammed as I recieved no response. Regardless myself and the Macmanamann intercepted the ship called HFB-Infernal. We entered into combat with the Infernal. Being in a fighter I did not possess the firepower needed to destroy the ship. But I attempted to harrass the ship and draw its fire away from the Macmanamann, which was loosing shields under the fire of the Infernal. Thankfully it seemed that SOMEONE heard my request for assistance as DCI-M.Brannigan arrived to the fight. We disabled the Infernal but unfortunately the Brannigan sustained heavy damage and suffered ship wide system failures and was left drifting. Thankfully there were freelancers nearby to assist with the transfer of the crew back to West Point. The MacManamann will need to be towed out of the system for repairs.

Greetings Command,

I wish to provide an after action report of some proceedings. To provide clarification and support some of the Cadet Stedman's reports which I can see have been previously submitted.

My first part of this report is going to cover an engagement with an outcast heavy. It will then cover the discussion with the reaver mercenary that Cadet Stedman provided some information on, as well as some information regarding a Zone 21 breach.

After Action Report

5/19/827
I recieved a communication from a Forlorn freelancer regarding a Storta class vessel between West point and the California Jump Gate. I headed out in my bomber post haste to assist. Upon my arrival the Storta class - ID MNS-Anranjada was already uner engagement by three mercenary units. I asked if they required assistance and this was declined.

I stayed to monitor the situation and am able to confirm a successful kill of the vessel by Sanada.Junko of the Forlorn. During a discussion with the Forlorn pilots a Cerulean.Reaver vessel appeared and was known to the Forlorn freelancers. Upon confirming that this vessel was considered hostile within liberty. I issued a challenge and began to communicate with the pilot. He stated that he was 'no longer under his previous contract' and appeared to wish to clear the air with liberty forces so to speak.

As the pilot was making no agressive moves I communicated with command on D.I.S.C.O.R.D protocol and was advise by R.A. Evans to advise this pilot to post on neural net with their suggestion and leave the area.

I would stress at this point that I was flying a Upholder bomber and I had no idea which side the Forlorn craft would have chosen had this come to engagement. I did not believe that poisoning what appears to be positive relations with the Forlorn group, especially when they are willing to assist with and take down heavy outcast craft of their own volition in liberty space.

Around this time another known Mercenary appeared Wayne Peyton. I know that this pilot is registered with the liberty bounty boards and is of good repute. At this point Peyton and the Reaver appeared to wish to challenge each other. Also, Cadet Stedman arrived. Having offered the 'Olive Branch' in the form of R.A. Evans' offer I believed that there was an opportunity to offer the sword so I agreed to provide 10 million credits from my personal account to tempt Peyton into an engagement with the Reaver. At this point, having delivered R.A. Evans' message to the Reaver I believe it would have put the 5th Fleet's image in jeapoardy to engage the Reaver after a peaceful settlement had been reached.

However, by offering funds for the destruction of the Reaver to Peyton in the form of a 'friendly contest'. This also offered the opportunity to 'have our cake and eat it too' through the use of an external force.

I would like to mention and be clear as well that these local mecenaries had suggested that they could get my Upholder's 'scanners cleaned' of evidence of the Reavers presence. I find this concerning and wished to mention this in my report.

Zone 21 Situation

After dealing with a few rogue bombers along with Cadet Stedman we set out to patrol zone 21. I showed the Cadet the 'open access' areas for him as it were. We were just about to leave to virginia when an OS&C Identification freighter jumped through to Zone 21.

We immediately advised them to leave. Which they did so, only to return a few moments later. After a stern word with the pilot of the vessel called 'default'. I ordered the cadet to escort this vessel away from the jump gate while I remained in Zone 21 to keep the gate secure.

After waiting a few moments I transitioned through the gate and we followed the freighter pilot to the Virginia -> Texas Jump Hole. Where we parted ways after a stern warning. I would like to report the sensor officer at morgantown for sheer gross incompetence in allowing the vessel to enter Zone 21 in the first place as the craft is clearly not broadcasting an approved IFF and design.

I would suggest that we keep a watch on the pilot to ensure that they keep their mouth shut. Possibly contact the LSF?

Again it seems that the meaning of restricted space is not understood by those who are tasked with the job of coding the gates into and out of the Alaska system. I had to escort a trader out of the system who somehow found himself in the system. The ship was called Petr_Ragnaros. While escorting the vessel I picked up another transponder signal. But once I returned to where I sensed it the vessel had left the area. Shortly after this I had another ship enter Alaska, this one claiming to be "exploring". The ships ID is Predator4s. The ship was escorted out the system promptly.

Later during my evening patrols in New York the system was besieged with rogues, several destroyers a gunboat and some snubs. We even had outcasts join the party with a Storta and a Sabre. 2 Rogue destroyers were promptly destroyed at the beginning of the engagement. However my ship was disabled in the conflict, but I was made aware that the criminal forces were driven out of the system.

Patrol Report 25-05-827

I encountered a rogue vessel with a suspicious ID, LR-Definitly.No.Rogue, near Rochester. I scanned the vessel and confirmed the Rogue IFF, But also saw that they had a Lib Navy pilot in their hold. I negotiated for the release of the pilot, thankfully no violence was required this time.

On the evening of the 25th I was ordered to patrol Norfolk station as a large transport entered the system to sell rare prototype weapons. Why he simply wasn't apprehended and questioned for being in possession of such advanced weaponry is a mystery to me. But the orders for me to patrol came from Admiral Ayato and I don't question him for a minute.

This morning while on patrol I eliminated a Xeno terrorist after he disabled one of our ships. The pilot of the navy ship was retrieved and brought back to the Concord.

After the destruction of the Xeno I went over to the Bering system where LT.Hopkins was questioning a transport captain on the suspicious contents of his hold. On my way there my sensors picked up two hostile contacts headed for Hopkins' position. I radioed ahead to him that he had some heat inbound. He released the transport and we proceeded to engage the hostiles. I engaged the hacker which happened to be the same hacker pilot from yesterday. I forced the hacker to eject once more, disabling his ship. The separatist managed to disable Lt.Hopkins vessel. Based on the condition of my ship I deemed it futile to engage the separatist ship. I recovered Hopkins' pod and returned it to Houston. These engagements accounted for my 6th and 7th kills.

My flight ended abruptly in a group engagement over a Separatist outpost in Bering. While opening fire on a target ID'ed as Thot.Wheels, I dropped two mines, however due to my guardians proximity to the mines, my guardian was disabled by the explosion of the mines. I ejected from my guardian hoping to get picked up by friendlies. I could not make out the wreckage of Thot.Wheels in the expanding debris field of destroyed Navy and Separatist ships. Thot.Wheels accounts for my 8th kill.

Report 28-05-827

Today's patrol in Bering was interesting to say the least. I pursued a Rheinland Military Wraith ID'ed as Sorrowless entering Texas through the Bering gate. I followed the ship through and requested he leave. And leave he did. But not before throwing some threats in my direction. A separatist ship ID'ed as Convict happened to follow us through the gate as. The vessel seemed hesitant to immediately engage in combat. The ship commed me, claiming to be a slave. And that if he did not do his masters bidding he would die. When I inquired if killing his master would free him from his bond, he was unable to tell me. In the end I was forced to engage in combat with this slave pilot. His skill seemed far superior to mine as I could not best him in combat. My ship was disabled and my escape pod returned to the Concord. I retrieved the audiologs from the wreckage. I find it very intriguing that the Seperatists accuse the Navy and the Police of being corrupt and evil. Yet here we have evidence to the contrary. They are clear hypocrites in their ways. Here they are keeping slaves, going against the very freedom Liberty stands for, all while claiming our very same leaders are against the same freedom. I only hope that this information is circulated amongst our fellow Navy pilots so that they may never doubt our cause to be just. So long as there is another man willing to bind another human in chains there will be a need for soldiers such as us, willing to protect our families from those that would do them harm.

After I was cleared by the doctor I immediatly filled in forms for a loaner guardian. Once the forms were approved I toook off from Concord. I patrolled the area around the Bering jump hole in Texas where I encountered a transport carrying classified intel that was meant to be given to Seperatist leaders. The ship ID'ed as Eventful dropped the intel and all copies were destroyed. Although I returned a sample to the Concord for analasis by HC.

A few hours after this we had a rogue incursion into Texas. I engaged the Aggressive.Slurper attempting to keep the gunboat busy until assistance arrived. Unfortunately the new cadet Alex.Trent had his ship disabled by the gunboat, I retrieved his pod and returned it to Concord. Eventually the contact heated up and to the point where there were 3 rogue destroyers in the system, the gunboat and a Hel cruiser. We even had a core ship in the system somehow caught up in the frey. It was told several times by the LNS-Monitor to disengage. It did not comply. Eventually I was given clearance to eliminate the core ship. The ship ID'ed as Sleepwalker was disabled by me. Making for my 9th kill.

While the Concord Fleet pushes through to Bering from the Jump Gate, the Vermont has taken up a position near the known Bering Jump Hole in Texas. So Far we have managed to deny the short route to Marshall Station and Vessels like Eventful a Freelancer Pirate Train and a Trade an unknown transport sporting a Universal Shipping Transponder who openly supports the Separatists. We will continue to work hard and ensure the Concords attack are not in vain.

As the Concord Pushes on, The Vermont Captained by myself and Arkansas Captained by Katelynn Prescott along with Snub Craft Escort by Alex Trent Blockaded the Bering jump hole in Texas. We came across the same Transport Vessel Eventful and while he surrendered the Cargo he refused to pay the fine and managed to escape. I was able to analyze some of the cargo before Alex accidentally destroyed them. We must attempt to intercept more of these materials to analyze and use against the Separatists. Eventful was chased to Marshall Station where he attained more Separatist Material and fled the scene.

High Command,

I set up a blockade yesterday with Rear Admiral grey, And LNS Vermont at the Bering Jump hole. Intel showed multiple smugglers in the region supporting the Separatist cause. First I encountered a Rogue DSE employee named Zhenghe, using his transport to support terrorist cause. I scanned his cargo and found Seperatist Materials on route to Galveston. He fled the scene and jumped, but I apprehended him. He refused to pay the fines or drop the cargo. I had no choice but to destroy his ship. He died Screaming "Viva the Separatist cause!" I have attached the comm logs of our encounter below.

After that I encountered another smuggler by the name of Holotrader. He was more obedient and listened my directions carefully and paid his fine. Then afterwards, I destroyed most of the Separatist Materials , and transported the rest to Battleship Arkansas for processing.

I was informed that a Hellfire Gunboat was sighted outside Houston, and hopped on the Achilles to take care of it. The gunboat was no hard opponent, however 2 Reavers showed up and made my life harder than it should've been. Thankfully I managed to focus down that gunboat with the help of Lt. Commander Hopkins and blew it up fast so I then turned to the Reavers. The Achilles was greatly damaged at that point, hull integrity being extremely low, but i managed to keep fighting the Reavers for the next 15 minutes before they realized this is not a fight they're going to win. They quickly bugged out and left the area, not wanting to take their chances against me. They thought I would be an easy target, instead they walked out of there with their asses handed to them, it seems the so called mighty Reavers can't handle a Lieutenant. Laughable performance by them to say the very least.
