Well, actually I've served in Hessian army for already 26 years, as I remember (at least my Soldbuch says so) so I'd like not to tell you the story of my service and my first encounter with Hessians. Nevertheless, I don't even remember it, I must say. I was looking into socialism since my childhood and I always respected physical labour - that's the only thing I remember.
I served as a fighter- and bomber-pilot all the time: 19 years in regular army and then 6 years in Rot Front, defending the borders of our systems against the corsair threat. About year ago, I've got blown by a corsair patrol somewhere in Omega-41, but was luckily rescued by my wingmen. I regret so much that those damned cannibals owned me on my trusty Odin, which served me since my first days in Hessian rows. Such a shame for a hessian, ergh...
The last few months were quite painful for me, despite the fact that I actually was resting on Northeim, morally preparing myself so I could continue my service. I've realised that I am so tired of fighting in Omegas and that I want to try myself against some more experienced pilots like Rheinland Militar, inside Rheinland space, in the RHA rows.

Anyways, we're separated. It's been a long time already. My father likes to spend time with his concubines and... well... it happens... I'm a bastard. Yes, I'm a bastard. But does that prevent me from serving in your ranks? Origin is unimportant! Titles don't matter! And the Revolution will make that finally become reality!
But... You need my biography, right? Bah, I must tell it again... Actually, I'll tell you only the part that matters. You don't need to know what I did in order to survive after my father forgot me in Vogtland.
So: Born as a bastard, taken away from my mother, lived with my father, Olaf Fromm, educated... well, "educated" by him, then he forgot me in Vogtland when I was 18. I don't know if it was intentional, or not. I just know he promised me the role of the first officer on the Hvannadalshnukur, but some Molly drunkard called Paddy got it. So, in order to survive, I had to do what I did, and then I decided to gamble all my money away, or multiply it several times. It seemed luck was on my side and I succeeded. Then I quit gambling and restarted my life on Vogtland. However, the lust was too strong, so I gambled again, but that wasn't my day. It was quite recently, actually. Now, because I really do not want to do what I did again, I want to access your ranks. Not only because I hate the pigs and the scurvy Sairs, but you also have food and booze. Is that acceptable?

A bastard or not, a son raised by Olaf Fromm cannot turn out to be a complete disappointment, no matter how unexperienced and how naive. Maybe this would also give you a chance to get back in touch with your father and learn more from him as he's already a part of the Red Hessian Army ranks.
Do keep in mind, Gunnar Fromm, that you're not being offered a exceptional position, neither are you being differentiated from any other pilot of the Army, and you would have to work as hard as your peers to work through the ranks, and maybe one day be granted the use of a Battleship yourself. I am writing out of interest in becoming a soldier for your cause. I was born in the medical bay of Solarius Station. My father was a miner for Daumann, and my mother was a proper "Hausenfrau". When I was 17, my father was killed in a horrible accident in the Von Rohe Belt. The electrical wiring in his Arrastra's airlock short circuited, opening the airlock and ejecting him into the void of space. Daumann held a life insurance policy on my father, we had been told. Instead of paying out the policy to us when he died, however, they kept the money for themselves and refused our family a single credit. They said that since they were the policyholders, it was their money. Our family was left with nothing, and no source of income. Daumann had little patience for us due to that fact, and promptly evicted us from Solarius for being "deadweight". My mother died of starvation as we were being transported on one of their carriers to Stuttgart to be left to fend for ourselves. For years I mixed and mingled with the people in the slums. I took odd jobs here and there to stay alive. Often I would serve as a fighter escort for independent traders as they hauled cargo across Rheinland space. One day, I attended a Red Hessian rally. The men at the rally spoke of freedom, and of the rights of man, and of a good and glorious volksrevolution. The men spoke of an army of men and women standing up against oppression and injustice, and who would have no qualms against using every option available to crush those who would stand against the Rheinlander Volk.
It was at that moment, I vowed to become a Red Hessian.

The name is Adrian, I'm a loyal Hessian. I've been borned and raised within the Hessians, some might call me young, but being young isn't being without experience. Greetings, my brothers of the Fatherland. My name is Luka Johannes Hauptmann, and I send this transmission in the request to join your cause. I come from Planet New Berlin, raised in the treacherous blizzards of our Fatherland's home planet. Although I left my family at a young age to join the military, I then caught knowledge of the heinous acts of our government, and refused to join the Rheinland Military. After attending many revolutionary rallies and speeches, I deserted training, and ran away in my own ship, and attempted to use the small amount of training I had to fend for myself. I had then come to my senses: the Rheinland's regime is corrupt, and it must be stopped.
