Liberty Forces Message dump - Rodent - 01-22-2012 ****INCOMING TRANSMISSION****
COMM ID: Junior Lt. Reginald Lewis TARGET ID: NAVAL HIGH COMMAND SUBJECT: INCIDENT REPORT ENCRYPTION: High PRIORITY: High Lewis here. I was assigned to escort duty to a LLS shipment to Bretonia. While on that trip, I saw it fit to gather some relevant information. The bretonians have extended the fortifications on Leeds even further. But the Derby has been moved from the planet, probably to the new front with the Gallics. When I flew there, they were preparing for repelling another attack by them. An Admiral of the Armed forces asked me if we were there to help. I found myself at lack for an answer. The Bretonians were supported by the Council and their warships. That was all I was able to gather on my trip there. On return, I heard reports of Rogues in New York. I ran to intercept. The Rogues were fielding 3 Barghest class bombers and an unknown ship. I was joined by Aleesha Cooper and together, we managed to make most of them run to the Badlands. ![]() ![]() [color=#FFFFFF]Lewis out. [font=agency fb]****TRANSMISSION TERMINATED****

[color=#CCCCCC]I'm considering changing my job title to housekeeper.
Richmond's intruder alarms went off at some stupid hour this morning, and I scrambled to assist LtCdr Sius in tracking down the ship. Proximity warnings at ******* Research Station were triggered by an unknown vessel. It didn't get close enough to determine class or cargo, but we did get a name: Nicole.Hunter. Shortly after, we were called away by another intruder in Virginia. A Cryer Mammoth, of all things. The pilot was barely literate, and in the interests of preventing some great blowout, we escorted him out of the system and wiped his databanks. Alaska's alarms were the next to go, Commander Veers of the LNS-Sacramento reporting six unidentified fighters. Standard search patterns were initiated, with ROManiac holding down the New York gate. Eventually, hostile forces were intercepted making a run for (and then from) the gate. Collective forces totalled: Quote:Friendlies Quote:Hostiles The Order fighters just kept coming, they must have a carrier or some sort of resupply station out there. Either that, or judging by the weapons they were using, they've been raiding our supply convoys. Being shot at with our own guns is not an experience I have any desire to repeat. We couldn't compete with the rate at which their forces were reinforcing and ultimately fell back to Planet Anchorage. Still, it looks like we gave them a sufficiently bloody nose to keep the Order out of our space in the immediate future. Our one loss of the day was due to a misaligned missile aboard the LNS-Sacramento, the Captain of which displayed, well, a damn good aim, downing four fighters single-handedly. At the beginning the Secondary Fleet attacked with their usual forces, so I decided to stay out of it at the beginning, my help wasn't needed at that moment. It changed with time, when the Legion received more reinforcements, I decided to jump in and started to shoot at the enemy. I focused on their bombers, in order to prevent them from doing more damage. Was a funny thing, especially when one of the Xenos accidentally hit a Legion bomber with a SNAC, it really saved me some work. When the Legion was gone, the last remaining Xenos ran away to Colorado, I'll try to get them next time. Guncam 1 Guncam 2 Guncam 3 Guncam 4 Cahoone out. Source: Junior Lt. Roy Sanders[color=#f7e0b9], Battleship Mississippi, Texas System Destination: Liberty Navy HQ Subject: Action reprot Priority: High ![]() Well that was.. unnerving. I just docked my Guardian on the Mississippi. Not half an hour ago myself and Recruit McKenzie encountered what appeared to be a carrier of Rheinland orgin not fourteen clicks from Houston, on the lane to Bering. Fortunately the secondary fleet vessels Crystal Palace and Relentless arrived in a timely fashion to take it out. [color=#f7e0b9]The prospect of a new class of Rheinland warship operating behind the front lines is.. disturbing, to say the least. I wish I had more information on it, but I was unable to obtain comprehensive scans while evading it's flak screen. That's all for now. Sanders out. *** [color=#698fff]TRANSMISSION TERMINATED ***

[color=#CCCCCC]Hit the lanes last night. Pretty quiet, all considered.
I RV'd with Flt.Adm Hale and V.A Defmir in Colorado, and we intercepted two Hacker contacts near the New York gate. The first, Callsign: Nicole.Hunter ran to the lane as soon as we entered engagement range, so I'm guessing it's not a combat vessel. Could've been a Pirate Transport, but I didn't get close enough for electronic confirmation. It's not the first time I've seen that ship, either. ******* station in Virginia reported a similar contact a few days ago. John.Heygood dropped out of the lane to buy Hunter time and was engaged by the Flt.Adm. V.A Defmir and I pursued the Hacker, but lost contact in Galileo. Flt.Adm Hale had the same problem with Heygood, thanks to a damn annoying ion storm. As you can see, he later resurfaced in the New York Badlands. Wasn't so lucky that time. We then received word of a Rheinland Battleship in Texas. The Hostile opened up on civilian transport ships, a Spa and Cruise Yacht, in violation of every frakking rule of war. The Durango bought it down. Looks like it pulled in most of the pods from that liner and, judging by the ID's, a prison ship as well. The VE|AC-Liberalis dragged in the additional pods. Following, we escorted the Flt.Adm to some sort of meeting on board the Missouri, and were joined by Lieutenant Cahoone. V.A Defmir headed off to talk some sense into a couple of trigger-happy Hunters in Manhattan Orbit. In the meantime, I intercepted an illegal transport in Fort Bush orbit, SW)The.Steelworker, who agreed to move off. Lt. Cahoone and I then headed off a Rogue bomber trying to put a hole in West Point. Lost some minor systems, a fighter in launch bay six'll be a write off, but no deaths. The bomber was a different story. When the Flt.Adm had finished his meeting, we RV'd at Missouri and headed out torwards Texas. Hit an Outcast fighter on the way, my shield's failed and the V.A had to finish it off. I was heading back to Fort Bush, when scanners picked up a Hessian Battleship. Remained on station for pursuit and intercept, and I managed to hold it up in California. Had to break off when he started running into Solar orbit, the Executioner ain't that much of a brick. The rest of the Fleet managed to intercept it, though I had to return to Fort Bush to patch up the old bird. And get a rad-check. ![]() COMM ID: [color=#99FFFF] Junior Lieutenant Aleesha Cooper TARGET ID: Liberty Navy Reporting Terminal SUBJECT: Yet another patrol report ENCRYPTION: Medium PRIORITY: Medium There is a reason why Junior Lieutenant Cooper can have good things. Technically it's all about picking up a night shift with Joshua Ashfield and running into two Maltese warships, "Sarissa" and "Ranseur" class, carelessly using Jump Gate connection with Colorado and heading to Junker station in Jersey scrapfied, the Rochester bunker to "restock" and "go for sightseeing, si". So, while I remained where we were to keep the friendly Cruise Disruptor missile on their engines, Captain Ashfield was generous enough to contact Fort Bragg and request everything that could be assembled in less than five minutes.
Obviously, it ended in the most common way with [LN]-LNS-Plymouth.Rock, LNS-Cincinatti and LPI-Leavenworth as the main force and the Liberty Police Incorporated Suicide Girls fighter wing as a nice distraction. ![]() ![]() Since it's yet an another incident involving Junkers, I'm documenting the whole encounter to provide a sufficient reason to question Junker activities in Liberty once again. ![]() ![]() ![]() That'd be all. [color=#CCCCCC]Headed out again, no organised hostiles to report.
First contact was an unknown Hacker Gunboat on the West Point - Texas Gate lane. I moved in to assist Bob.Adams in keeping the thing pinned down until Lt.Cdr Sius arrived. It made a run for a jump hole, and we lost the contact in the Badlands, amazing that ship held together. By the time we lost him, it looked like swiss cheese. Moving back to the lane, we picked up an incoming Barghest, Oportunista. He tried for the same run the Hacker had, and was intercepted and destroyed just after the jump. Our arrival at Norfolk was interrupted by a CSV, callsign: Echo parroting about entering restricted space. He tried it again, and was intercepted by Espada. On the way back from the chase, I encountered another Lane Hacker Gunboat, Cpt.Waters negotiating with LPI-SWAT-John.Aryn[U]. Predictably, the Hacker tried to run and was caught eight clicks galactic south of West Point by Aryn. Espada, Aryn and I engaged the Gunboat. Additional hostiles then joined the firefight, in the form of a Rogue Bomber and Werewolf Super-Heavy. Aryn took a mine to the wing and had to eject. HQ seems to think he made it out okay. Two Mandalorians arrived on site to assist, and pursued a heavily damaged "Faro's_Claw" into the Badlands, ultimately destroying both it and the Werewolf. It's been a long patrol, I'm going to go grab some rack time back at Bush. Patrol Summary follows: Quote:Patrol Strength [2] Quote:Hostiles [6] Quote:Noteworthy Contacts [4] Hartman, out. [color=#FFFFFF]Target ID: [color=#FFFFFF][font=Agency FB] Liberty Forces Reporting Centre Subject: [color=#FFFFFF] [font=Agency FB] Patrol Report Encryption: [color=#33FF33] [font=Agency FB]Low Priority: [color=#33FF33] [font=Agency FB]Low [color=#FFFFFF]Yesterday's patrol was quite eventful, it started with the usual California sweep with the regular stuff, however yesterday it was only a single Rogue Gunboat near the Cortez Jumpgate. It was not a big threat for us and was dealt with in no time. Guncam 1 We continued to patrol the rest of the Liberty core worlds after this little situation. In New York we found another Rogue Gunboat, which was on its way into the Badlands. We intercepted it and it received the same treatment like the other Rogue in California. Guncam 2 Admiral Hale decided to patrol the systems of Bering and Hudson, it was actually a surprise that these systems were empty and we returned to New York. There we spotted a random Xeno who was getting shot at by the Secondary Fleet and also a Lane Hacker, flying a Bayonet Heavy Fighter. I was ordered to deal with him. ![]() After we checked the Colorado system we received reports about a group of Rheinland Military ships in the Texas system and we changed our course to said system to have a look if these reports were true. It were four fighters, of which three were from the Rheinland Military Primary Fleet, the last fighter was from the BDM. It was a surprise that the Primary Fleet had brought only their High Command members, and that with a really small group of fighters. They attacked us and after some time a group of pirates did so as well. The BDM ship was destroyed by the LSF, while one of the Military Wraiths exploded to its own mines. After some time the remaining Military ships began their retreat, we wanted to chase them, but ion storms made it impossible, hopefully they won't be lucky the next time. The battle was pretty much over after this and so was the patrol for me. Today I did a patrol of the California system and ran into a group of Mandalorians and Secondaries who were dealing with some Hellfire Legion Gunboats and one Ministry Gunboat. I decided to help them against the threat and we managed to take out one of the Legion Gunboats in California before they started to run away. Guncam 3 The Ministry Gunboat ran to Magellan, however he was not able to survive this encounter. We shot it down somewhere next to the lanes in Magellan. ![]() In the meantime the Legion had brought some support, this time in fighters. They did not have a real chance and soon they were running to their rat hole as soon as they were about to explode. A chase would have been too dangerous and we decided to return to California. Cahoone out.

![]() TARGET ID: [color=#99FFFF]Liberty Forces Reporting Centre SUBJECT: 'Keep off my lawn.' ENCRYPTION: Moderate PRIORITY: Moderate Sirs, Ma'ams.
[color=#CCCCCC]Turns out Battlecruisers aren't the best possible way start to start my day.
Manhattan orbital scanners reported an IMG Battlecruiser in low orbit [Scan retrieved at a later time]. The Captain ignored orders to halt, and proceeded to enter the West Point trade lane. I pursued, and caught the ship in the Pennslyvania field, at which point he finally complied with directives to stop. At a guess, I'd say his ship couldn't handle the asteroids at that speed. Turned out I was talking to the X.O, with the head Captain taking a nice little nap in his stateroom. Shame there isn't a law against that. The X.O claimed she had no idea where she was, and that the ship had been tasked on a mining mission based from Denver under the clearance of Lt. Aleesha Cooper. If that is true Ma'am, let me know. The Captain insisted that he was headed for a jump hole that would take him out of Liberty space, and I agreed to let him lead the way to it. Whatever that thing was, it wasn't a jump hole. Some sort of installation, definitely hostile, seeing as it opened up on me. Around there, I directed the Captain of the 'mining' ship to have the X.O tossed in the brig, which he did. However; he did seem to believe violence against her was also a valid option. LPI'd have a field day with this guy. From there, I radioed the Captain of the LNS-Mr.Good to provide a heavy escort from Pennslyvania to Magellan, which he did. En-route, the Battlecruiser rammed [or was rammed by, it was tough to tell] another Siege Cruiser [Name unrecorded. Crew still undergoing training.], losing power to his port wing. With assistance from the Yukon he was able to get the situation under control long enough to reach the Magellan gate. Once our escort departed, the Miner let slip mention of Alaska. Not much I could do about it at that point, but as soon as the paperwork comes through, I'll send charges.
