Liberty Forces Message dump - Jeremy Hunter - 06-06-2012 >>>>Incoming Transmission >>>Encryption Level: High >>>Video Channel detected. Allow Y/N? - Y Displaying... ![]() Identification: Alexis Hunter Location: Manhattan So, first off, we had a small skirmish near Houston, ending with the destruction of three Rheinland Naval Craft. The rest ran when the drunk AGS-U pilots arrived. I guess they fear the Unions. After I had returned to Manhattan and grabbed my Guardian, and then went about hunting a Hacker called DragonRider. I found him, then chased the guy (who was lookng for donuts...he should have joined the LPI...) to Rochestor (Yes, Rochestor. Again. How original.) Then this guy, The.Fugitive, comes, demands two million from DragonRider, then DragonRider's finger, then he attacks and destroys DragonRider. At this point, an Outcast Ransuer appears (and by appears, I think it was hiding somewhere around Rochestor...or in it...or....Oh for frakk's sake, it was like, cloaked around, and definitely was using Rochestor to resupply) and caused me and the LNS-Wake.Island to make like trees and leave. Seriously. Why can't Outcast warships stay out in the Taus? ATTACHMENTS: Rochestor and DragonRider Cargo Scan: The.Fugitive Comm Records Comm Logs The Appearing Ransuer Very Close to Rochestor END ATTACHMENTS That concludes my report. Hunter out. >>>>END TRANSMISSION Liberty Forces Message dump - GrnRaptor - 06-07-2012 ****INCOMING TRANSMISSION****
COMM ID: Lieutenant Alan Polstari TARGET ID: Primary Fleet Command HQ SUBJECT: Smugglers and Brigands ENCRYPTION: Medium PRIORITY: Medium Greetings, sirs.
I've run across a couple new smugglers in the last day or so. Details as follows. [color=#FFFFFF]Subject: Broken.Benjamin Caught Mr. Benjamin carrying Cardamine in a Firefly as he passed by West Point. I and another vessel gave chase and managed to catch up to him where we requested that he drop his cargo in preparation for a fining. He was less than inclined to do so and managed to start back up again and head for Manhattan. I think we had a bit of Ion interference as he seemed to leap ahead of us, and we simply weren't able to do enough damage to halt him before he landed. Guncam images below. Hold full of Cardamine Crash docking on Manhattan Subject: Bowmanfire I was running supplies later that same day in the Sierra Nevada when I ran across the Bowmanfire en route back to Texas. I gave a scan to double check the cargo, and was surprised to find him carrying slaves. I was also surprised to find that he had an ALG IFF with DSE papers. We gave chase to the Bering Gate but were unable to interdict him before he made it out. Guncam images below. Slave cargo IFF and Papers Escape through Bering Subject: +LE+Griffe.de.Valence I ran across Mr. de Valence today while on mission in the Sierra Nevada as we were about to cross over from the California system to the Cortez system. I was able to see that it was a Brigand affiliated vessel, and that he was flying in the Gallic "Pachyderme" Transport. I gave him polite reminder of the "Laws of Liberty" Section 3 Heading IV with respect to tranport vessels of Gallic origin. The following is the comm log we recorded while in transit. Quote:[07.06.2012 00:12:16] [LN]-LLS-Sierra.Nevada: Polstari: Mr. de Valence. I've heard rumor that they may have already filed a complaint about the matter, so I'm making my report as quickly as possible. I hope it proves useful. Lieutenant Polstari, signing off. I was nervous at first because of the fact of my long history of bad aiming using the 2.00 weapons... so I decided to change them in our good fast shooting Vengeance laser weaponry. [font=Times New Roman]Pirates Everywhere! While in Virginia refitting my fighter, the alarm bells sounded warning of a Xeno wing harassing the lanes in California. Since I was alone, I called for any assistance from a LNS ship. There was only one available at that time that responded to my call: [color=#33FFFF]Battleship.Melinda The Xeno wing had moved to New York when I finally decided to confront them. There they were spotted by the Battleship at West Point. I hurried as fast as I could before they decided to tackle the Battleship. Once I got there, tensions were rising between the Xenos and the Battleship. Luckily a nearby Freelancer by the name of Griffin wanted to shoot at the Xenos for a price. By some form of bad luck, the Freelancer was carrying Cardamine and I ordered him to drop the cargo before engaging the enemy wing. He gladly complied. Xeno ships:
The Xeno wing consisted of 2 fighters and a Grizzly freighter. They opened fire on the Freelancer first as he was collecting the bounties. I went in to assist Mister Griffin. Due to the firepower of the freighter, I was forced to order the Battleship to fire upon the freighter. It is worth noting that two capital vessels also responded to the commotion but I decided not to place them near the battle as it would be wasting their time, instead I ordered them to look out for more pirates, if there are any. After some time, the Battleship managed to down a Xeno fighter:<.> Griffin, the freelancer, downed the freighter and the last fighter: <.> We left after Griffin and the last fighter dueled. I must say that Freelancer is very skillful. After this, I headed towards our borders to the North were a number of Rogue ships were spotted by passing traders in Galileo. I ordered Griffin to accompany me and the Battleship to stay at Galileo JG, just in case the Rogues decided to bring out their Scylla cruisers. While scouting the lanes with Griffin, we found a KNF officer also searching for the Rogues. He encountered them in Kusarian side of the system but the Rogues ran for the Komatsu Cloud. He asked us if we wanted to help him search for them and we agreed. At some point, we found them near Cassini Jumphole: <.> The honorable KNF officer challenged one to a duel and I was also offered the same, but for some reason these Rogues ran for their lives. The KNF officer didn't pursue the Rogues into their home system and returned to Kusari, we also did the same after making sure the lanes weren't camped by anyone. I hooked up with two primary fleet officers: [LN]-Lionel.Rynax & [LN]-Ian.Johnson. We were receiving numerous reports of pirates around Colorado and New York proper. Lionel Rynax in his oddly missile Guardian found a Rogue to play with. The Rogue didn't last long: <.> Once we were in New York, we received reports of a Outcast Battleship. We found the beast along Norfolk-West Point lane already engaged by secondary forces. Captain Redline showed up in his LABC, the Barbapapa, and within seconds the Battleship suffered massive damage. Already engaged by Secondary Forces Strafing run Massive damage Several Escape pods launching In the end, the OC Battleship blew up into a huge fireworks display. I must say these pirate ships make up a good show. ![]() Afterwards, an intruder near Z21 was shot down by my bomber, the rocket pods made quick work of him: <.> [font=Palatino Linotype]Lieutenant Commander Remus Sius [font=System]******************[color=#CC0000]Transmission Terminated******************* <<<<Logging Out>>>> Liberty Forces Message dump - AllanSnider - 06-11-2012 > Incoming transmission... COMM ID: Recruit Hans Wolff SUBJECT: First patrol Well, things got off to a lovely start. With the help of an officer and several secondaries I was able to refit my ship and get all the proper identification papers in place very quickly. There were only a few quips and jests about my Rheinland heritage (and accent). I then linked up with Lt. Alan Polstari who took me out on my first patrol. Things were very quiet on this late night shift, and we spent most of the time updating my nav computer with important JH and base locations. We then came across what we thought was a benign contact in California, but after dogging our foot steps for awhile attempted to pirate us. Having refused to pay, or course, an engagement ensued. My superior would not allow me to engage, fearful that I would be shot down on my first patrol, and I thank him for that. Unfortunately, his decision cost him his ship, as he was subsequently destroyed by the aggressor over a long and grueling fight. I understand his decision, but still, I feel remorse. I will have to spend some time going over some auxiliary equipment on my ship, such as the on-board camera. I didn't get any shots, but I believe the attacker was "Esquire". I hope to settle the score at some point in the near future. Signing Off. Hans Wolff Liberty Forces Message dump - Ryummel - 06-14-2012 ****INCOMING TRANSMISSION****
![]() COMM ID: J. Ashfield, 36th TARGET ID: Liberty Navy High Command SUBJECT: Natalie Cahoone ENCRYPTION: High PRIORITY: High I'm afraid to inform that Lieutenant Commander Cahoone has forced herself into an unintended retirement somewhere in Liberty , not before leaving a goodbye gift for me in form of gunshot to the leg. I don't know if she'll show up again or not, but I can affirm that her mind is rather... misplaced. Misplaced enough to let the already known 'Alycia' take over her actions.
A plain mental sickness she may have been hiding for long, or anything more complex... I don't know. I'm not even sure if there would be a way to bring her back alive and completely sane, but I hope we aren't forced to take any drastic measures at the very beginning before we can assess this issue correctly. COMM ID: Norfolk Station Naval Command Center TARGET ID: Primary Fleet Command HQ SUBJECT: Lieutenant Alan Polstari & LNF Paradise ENCRYPTION: Medium PRIORITY: Medium We would like to report the following with respect to the incident that occurred earlier today. [color=#FFFFFF]Subject: Lt. Alan Polstari Lt. Polstari is currently under sedation in Med Bay 4. He suffered a several lacerations to the face from exploding panels upon the LNF Paradise, as well as smoke inhalation from the fires that were aboard the vessel. He also appears to be suffering from a minor case of PTSD brought on by the experiences of the day. We expect a full physical recovery within a day, though the traumas of the ***REDACTED*** influences, as well as the unexpected loss of the LNS Antietam to Order vessel fire, will need to be worked through over time. We have an agent of the Internal Security Division assigned to watch him for further psychological disturbances in case he relapses. Subject: Crew and Marines We report that five members of the crew of the LNF Paradise were severely injured during this incident, though all are expected to make a full recovery with expected return to duty times varying from three to four weeks. One member of the crew will require a bio-mechanical prosthetic replacement, however, and will be rotated to desk duty until he adapts to his new leg. All crew have been checked for ***REDACTED*** influences, and while the bridge crew shows some signs of trauma, we expect that with guidance they will be able to make a full recovery here shortly. Agents from Internal Security Division have been tasked to keep an eye on each member until such time as they are considered psychologically stable. All Marines aboard were wearing full HazMat Combat gear, and suffered minor injuries at worst. All have been checked for ***REDACTED*** influences and been found to be healthy and ready for duty. Subject: LNF Paradise We regret to report that the LNF Paradise was severely damaged during the incident. Our engineers estimate a week, minimum, before her armor plating can be replaced and her internal systems restored. Were it not for the Enhanced Armor Plating she was equipped with, this vessel most certainly would have ended up as a burned out hulk deep in unkown space. As it stands, it's a semi-wrecked vessel sitting in Docking Bay 3. Our engineers have strong hopes that they will be able to restore her to full capacity, and will use this time to upgrade the software, as well the underlying internal workings, with our latest achievements in those fields. We expect that using the Bio-Neural processing packs in place of hard wiring will increase computational power in all areas, as well as reduce the risk of crew injury when the vessel is damaged. COMM ID: [color=#99FFFF]Lieutenant Jane Hartman TARGET ID: Liberty Forces Reporting Centre SUBJECT: Resupply Runs - Logistics Wing Assignment ENCRYPTION: Low PRIORITY: Low Sirs, Ma'ams.
[color=#CCCCCC]7th Logistic Squadron's taken some casualties out in Texas, so I've been assigned to fill one of the gaps. Ship in question is one LLS-Clearwater (Bison Class). Took her out to assist in movement of maintenance supplies to ********* with L.T Polstari yesterday, and she's holding together well enough for an old ship. Thrust output of the number two engine block's a bit off, but that's being seen to down on Houston. In the meantime, we shipped out to restock the Battleship Whitefield's supply of shuttles out in New Hampshire. No additional hostile or friendly forces were encountered.
This one was about as quiet as they come. Convoy summary follows: Quote:Convoy Strength [1] That'll be all. Hartman, out. [font=agency fb]****TRANSMISSION TERMINATED****
