Liberty Forces Message dump - Melanie Tyler - 06-16-2012 ****INCOMING TRANSMISSION****
COMM ID: [color=#99FFFF]Lieutenant Jane Hartman TARGET ID: Liberty Forces Reporting Centre SUBJECT: Pirates and Volley Fire. ENCRYPTION: Low PRIORITY: Low Sirs, Ma'ams.
[color=#CCCCCC]Hartman here, reporting Clearwater's first brush with hostile forces (under present command.) Clearwater was en-route to Fort Severn, passing by Norfolk Shipyard at the time of the incident. Two Freelance transports (see patrol summary) had been halted approx. 600m from Norfolk by a Gallic bomber bearing an Outcast transponder (Callsign: white.eclipse). TACOM aboard the Battleship Missouri confirmed hostile designation of eclipse and had dispatched a light fighter wing to intercept at the time of arrival. Fighter intercepts proved ineffective, and the bomber also ordered the Clearwater to halt and transfer 3.000.000 standard credits to its account. A similar demand was also made of both Freelance transports. With my prompting, all refused. At this point, the Clearwater engaged the enemy with the objective of stalling the bomber until the other transports were able to clear the combat zone.
Didn't quite work out that way. Once the first transport reached the lane to West Point, the bomber broke in pursuit and entered the lane after it. Thankfully, he didn't think to disrupt the thing behind him. The second transport and I also docked with the lane to pursue and re-engaged the target within range of West Point's battery. With our arrival, I'm glad to report that both Freelancers were able to reach trade lanes and disengage. With both transports out of the picture, the bomber focused on the Clearwater, critically damaging cargo pods 2-4, and severing the starboard fuel line. At this point, I ordered gunnery to stand down and attempted to stall the bomber. Not entirely successfully, and we had to make a transfer of funds to keep the Clearwater in space (an amount that was later paid by the <$>Blue.Danube.Waltz). Thankfully, Lieutenant Polstari arrived on the scene and was able to destroy the bomber before he broke through to the crew deck. Clearwater is currently moored to Fort Severn, undergoing minor hull repairs. She'll be fully operational again in a matter of hours. COMM ID: Recruit Adam M. ReidTARGET ID: Liberty Forces Reporting Centre SUBJECT: Several Cases ENCRYPTION: Low PRIORITY: Low Recruit Adam Reid here, reporting a few interesting cases from my first patrol.
Case 1: No! A freelancer apparently wanted to pass through Alaska and reach to Ellesmare, and the secondaries asked me if that's possible. Well, of course not. Quote:[LNS]-Flash: Officer Adam Case 2: Jumping Dreadnoughts I've heard from systemwide comms that a Zoner Dreadnought is around Manhattan, and the 41st allowed it to stay. I immediately rushed to the scene and tried to solve the issue. Quote:(SolarR[CL]-Lux-Eterna: I repeat: Zoner Juggernaut Lux Eterna asking for permission to stay near Manhattan until we get a tanker and can move From what the Zoner was saying, their dreadnought used wrong coordinates and jumped directly to New York. Quote:(SolarR[CL]-Lux-Eterna: Instead of Omega 41, we ended up here. They wanted to leave through jumping again, though I was more inclined to make them move off our border first. However, I called for a higher ranked member of the Navy to decide on it, and soon Clark came. He allowed the Juggernaught to jump away. Afterwards we had a chat with 41st about how they really should be acting like. Quote:[LN]-Jorzza.Clark,: 41st ships, let me remind you, you do not decide who is allowed within Liberty Shot 1 - Shot 2 Case 3: Adventerous Pirates I found this nice pirate fella around Manhattan, who was trying to pirate people around there so bravely but idioticly. So I took it down. The ID of the ship was white.eclipse. Shot 1 - Shot 2 Case 4: Tricky Pirates Later on, I was patrolling through the Trade Lanes and I found a Rogue Bomber, Ryner.Lute, disrupting the lanes. I tried to arrest the guy to take him to the Sugarland, and he complied... to a point. Quote:[LN]-Adam.Reid: You again... But he decided to make a run for it afterwards. I chased him, but he took refuge in a strange shaped rock with its guns pointed at me with the intention of burning my butt, so I cleared off. Shot 1 - Shot 2 - Shot 3 - Shot 4 Case 5: Manhattan is not a good place to make friends Two hostiles were found around Manhattan, one being an Outcast Bomber named, Jose.Alvarez, the other a Hellfire Legionary, [HF]-William.Sweeney. I first took on the bomber and quickly terminated it, meanwhile the legionary was being engaged by a very inexperienced naval pilot of the secondaries. I decided to take the secondary's place and engaged Sweeney myself. Even though my Executioner is not suited for taking on these guys, already tired and a little bit damaged pilot of the Legion was soon bested. Shot 1 - Shot 2 - Shot 3 Case 6: I would fly more if I could I've seen Rudvig Stark from the primaries chatting and chasing an Order agent through New York immediately afterwards, and decided to join in. After a while, it became apparent that the Order agent wouldn't leave without an engagement. So we decided that I should engage him. Quote:Order|-Shade.99: I meant the fact you don't understand in general. However, the enemy Order Agent was skillful and better equipped than me, so it became obvious that I would be losing. I decided to continue anyways, to pick up some maneuvers and show them the relentless courage of our Naval pilots. Besides, my Executioner would be scrapped with the damage I took. Quote:[LN]-Rudwig.Stark.: That's not looking too good, pull out Mr. Reid, I'll cover ya. I launched the pod in time and I was safe. Stark took my pod and dropped it in the West Point Academy. I heard from him that he let the Agent slip away afterwards. Quote:[LN]-Adam.Reid: Alright... I am safe in my pod... *grins* get me outta here! I want to finish my reports with this epic piece, showing the bravery our secondaries, instilling fear into the hearts of our enemies. I am sure the Agent got what it was coming to him. Quote:41st|LNS-Hell_Khan: oh man - why doesnt the red people understand the word STAY OUT OF LIBERTY I've got 4 hours down, 4 to go. Recruit Adam Reid, signing off. COMM ID: [color=#99FFFF]Lieutenant Jane Hartman TARGET ID: Liberty Forces Reporting Centre SUBJECT: Colonial Gunboat. ENCRYPTION: Low PRIORITY: Low Sirs, Ma'ams.
[color=#CCCCCC]Had an interesting run-in yesterday. Clearwater was in the process of hauling materials to our facility when sigs picked up a Colonial Gunboat, callsign: Ace.Of.Spades in Manhattan Orbit. I inquired as to the Captain's intentions, and he repeatedly refused to divulge them. The situation ended with The.Ace.Of.Spades attempting to flee and choosing to fly into the sun rather then halt and answer the damn question. Now, he must have had mighty quick escape pods, because the same ship re-emerged shortly after and proceeded to lecture me on the law. You'd think he might've been a bit more polite with two Assault Carriers in orbit.
I'll be sending a transmission to the Colonial Government shortly to determine whether they gave orders for the ship to be New York. If there's no valid explanation forthcoming, Sir/Ma'am, I'd like to request that the ship The.Ace.Of.Spades be grounded if it re-enters Liberty. In the meantime, I'll be issuing a fine and barring the vessel from the Republic's territories until further notice. Logs of the incident are attached. Patrol summary follows: Quote:Patrol Strength [1] Quote:Hostiles [1] Quote:[17.06.2012 01:40:12] Ace.Of.Spades: Hmm, How is everyone this morning? That'll be all. Hartman, out. ![]() Today at the request of Bretonian Armed Forces i brought myself and my Upholder class bomber to New London where a Bretonian Armed Forces Fleet was assembling. I was assigned to a Lt. Moore's command for the operation. He led the Fighter/Bomber wing. the Capitals where lead by some one from from BAF high command. The fighters went into Leeds first. as soon as we hit the other side we we're engaged by a GRN fighter recon element. A couple of the Fighters held them off while the fleet jumped in and proceeded to Planet Leeds. A few minutes after a defensive formation was achieved at Leeds the Gallic Royal Navy showed up Quote:INITIAL HOSTILE CONTACTS The the shooting started as it usually does. then an ion storm rolled in for a few moment nobody could see or do anything. the ion storm knocked out anything with a circuit or generated electrical power as well as any visual of anything. At least no one floated into Planet Leeds' gravitational pull and burnt up in its orbit. When i regained control, so did everyone else. and the shooting started up again. Allied forces consisting of BAF, myself from the [LN] primaries, BPA and a few Colonial Remnant ships. Allied fighters held off their fighters leaving the Capitals and the Bombers cleared to engage their Capitals. The Bretonian Capitals had a hard time taking on the Gallic Battleships. Valors are pretty much lined with turrets. as-well as what appears to be a Linear Cannon running along the length of the ship. They are easily more powerful than the Linear Siege Cannon on our own Siege cruisers. these gun could seriously pose a risk for our Capital ships. Id equate their firepower to equal that of two of our dreadnaughts. But there is a silver lining. while they have more C.I.W.S guns the sheer size of the Valor class makes it hard for them to cover their mass. They are susceptible to Bomber craft. So there's at least one advantage. Quote:GUNCAM FOOTAGE All of the attacking Battleships were destroyed. Three out of the four Cruisers where downed, 1 cloaked at retreated at a guess. The Gunboat was ripped to shreds. I'm not sure about the fighters as that wasn't my role. Once the Capital ships where destroyed i left the engagement. I let the Bretonian forces mop up. We won that round. But against the firepower of the Gallic forces it will be a tough fight. At present i am at Curacao. i need a stiff drink, possibly two. Ill return back to the Logistics office tomorrow. I'm going to end this here. the adrenaline drain is taxing as we all know. That reminds me, In my absence send the Logistics Paperwork to Polstari or Hartman. Clark Out. [color=#FFFFFF]****TRANSMISSION ENDS****

There's nothing like a bit of psychosis to spice up your day, is there? How's that leg doing? I'm sure that many of us have, by now, had the pleasure of being introduced to this alter ego. I have, but I didn't give it too much thought. But, the information that you provided changes things. There are plenty of places and people specialised in these matters in Liberty, and it's definitely our duty to make sure that she gets the benefit of their services to treat her illness. With this in mind, the best option would be for her to be apprehended quietly, if possible, and forced to participate in one of those programs under duress. Once you have recovered from your injuries, Joshua, I hope your help will be forthcoming. Transmission Terminated Liberty Forces Message dump - Ryummel - 06-18-2012 ****INCOMING TRANSMISSION****

Liberty Forces Message dump - AllanSnider - 06-19-2012 ****INCOMING TRANSMISSION**** COMM ID: Recruit Hans Wolff SUBJECT: First Patrol Complete Patrol duty has been a fairly uneventful task. Even when encountering difficult situations, I've been able to call in for backup from other officers. (I was afforded no such luxury in my previous line of work trading commodities to Kusari in my transport). None the less, nothing too dangerous has come by my way lately. Some minor contraband, and a rescue of a civilian with a disabled engine under attack from Lane Hacker rookies. My last patrol out with Herr Polanski, sorry, Mr. Polanski, met with little difficulty. I was providing escort for a re-supply run to Omega-3. Other than picking up a remote contact from a Lane Hacker Gun Boat, and bumping into a Corsair by the name of Torrero, the run was successful. Fortunately, we met up with the Corsair within a Freeport NFZ, so no altercation took place and he eventually moved off without incident. I do believe I have logged sufficient hours on this particular craft, and am looking to upgrade soon. ![]() Hans Wolff ****TRANSMISSION TERMINATED****

COMM ID: Lieutenant Alan Polstari TARGET ID: Primary Fleet Command HQ SUBJECT: Interdiction & Destruction ENCRYPTION: Medium PRIORITY: Medium Greetings, sirs.
Today was an especially busy day with respect to interdicting transport vessels. My report as follows. I began my work over Planet Houston in my Upholder, looking to enforce the oft ignored Embargo we have against Rheinland. My first prize of the day was a transport tagged as [color=#FF9900]EvGO, a Luxury Liner carrying Neon. It attempted to head to Hamburg via Bering, but I cut the trade lane and attempted to contact its captain. While I was finally able to get the vessel to turn around, it refused to follow further lawful orders to halt. I had meant only to fine the vessel, but instead had to order its destruction for failure to comply with my directives. Neutralized I was joined by Junior Lieutenant Hunter over Houston for a while, who assisted me with my duties. Unfortunately that was not the last time I saw the vessel, as about 15 minutes later, while dealing with other vessels, I saw another vessel of the same make and tag arrive from the direction of the California Jump Hole. Interspace Commerce's insurance arm sure works fast, it seems. The vessel looked like it was intending to reclaim the cargo of its predecessor, so I ordered the remaining Neon destroyed and ordered EvGO to depart. It refused and hung around for well over 10 minutes while I was dealing with other craft. It then opened fire on me, depleting my shields and giving my vessel some hull damage. I evaded further fire and I ordered its summary destruction. Neutralized, again I took a break, leaving the rest to Miss Hunter. I resumed my patorl later that day after addressing chow and other items. When I returned Junior Lieutenant Hunter had moved on to other duties, but I was later joined on my patrol by Commander Sanders and Lieutenant Johnson. Several of the Mandalorian Mercenaries joined us as well, hoping to cash in on any bounties that might have been present. I regret for their sakes that nothing turned up that I think they would have been able to lay claim to, but their assistance was appreciated, and it was good to learn to work cooperatively with them. Not much later Commander Sanders picked up a Cardamine smuggler, tagged as [XTF]Dreamrunner, near the Colorado Jump Hole in New York. I was able to join him and my "Peacekeeper" put an end to the vessel's run to Manhattan. Cardi-Boom I was going to return to further Embargo duty over Houston, but Commander Sanders picked up several vessels operating in Alaska on LRS. We moved to intercept, and found several Zoner "Whale" Transports in a convoy carrying Scientists. They were ordered to halt, to which they complied, and then they were handed over to me and my "Peacekeeper" for summary punishment. Amusingly enough one of the vessels attempted to bribe me with eight (8) million Sirian Credits, but my answer was anti-matter meeting the matter of his hull. The results are given below. No Mercy No Escape No Deals Comm Log 1 Comm Log 2 Commander Sanders and Lieutenant Johnson departed after some time to other duties, and the Mandalorians returned to their own persuits. A while later on Recruit Reid joined me on patrol. I regret that the following incident had to occur, but I caught the vessel tagged as (SolarR[CT]-Ashley.S exiting the Alaska system in Zone 21. I understand that the captain of this vessel is Lieutenant Harper's wife, but I dealt with it in the matter prescribed. The vessel was severely damaged as a result of its detour through hazardous space and most likely would not have been able to continue further without major assistance. I was able to call in S&R to recover the captain and crew of the vessel and have them returned to the Missouri to be processed. I believe that there may be several parties who wish to speak to the vessel's captain, Mr. Harper included. Ashley in Z21 Destroyed in Z21 Comms The final major incident of the day was reported by Mr. Keller of the LSF. He reported a vessel tagged as Shar`ky being in violation of Zone 21, and also carrying several units of Counterfeit Software. Recruit Reid and I interdicted the vessel and terminated it with extreme prejudice. The visuals from the LSF are a bit sketchy, but they provide rough evidence of the vessel within Zone 21, and combined with Mr. Keller's testimony I considered this sufficient reason to act. LSF File Vessel Scan Neutralized On a personal note, I would like to say that it's good to be back in the cockpit after that time in Med Bay. I have cleared with Medical that I am in sufficient healthy to pilot again, and have passed the psychological evaluation for returning to duty. I look forward to being of further service to the Liberty Navy, and hope that the actions of today reflect well on my continuing abilities to do so. Lieutenant Polstari, signing off.
