Incoming Transmission from Planet New London, New London system.
26. February 820 A.S.
To: Bowex employees.
Priority: Moderate.
Topic: Convoy report.

Convoy Participants:
  • BES Johnson, Shire - Andrew Peterson.
  • BES Hawking, Shire - Mark Sanders.
  • BES Raleigh, Shire - Chris Jacobs
  • BES Stobart, Percheron - Eddie Stobart
  • ExSec Jan Peters

Convoy Information:
Initially, the group consisted of myself, and the BES Hawking, Raleigh and Stobart. We all picked up a freshly mined cargo of Beryllium Ore from King's Cross - so fresh that we actually encountered the BMM mining crew heading home in the opposite direction.

I flicked the fellows a small tip as a token of appreciation, just to show some jolly good fraternal enthusiasm. After reaching Rheinland, we picked up Alluminium Ore. Mr Sanders and Jacobs returned home, myself and Mr Stobart following suit later in the evening.

Convoy Incidents:
The way to Rheinland was squeaky clean - suspiciously so. I almost can't remember such a smooth trip through Rheinland's tumultuous core systems. After mooring to Krupp, I departed from the Johnson for the early evening to look for a Daumann acquaintance and check up on some contract details.

When I resumed the journey home, I had a ten minute or so head start on the BES Stobart. In light of this, I was able to warn him of a Corsair gunboat that was waiting out in Stuttgart. I managed to nimbly side-step him, at which point it gave up and departed the system. Mr Stobart didn't see anything on the way through, so I rather presume that's what happened.

In Omega 3, I had two run ins with members of the criminal underworld that could be best characterised by the proverb, "thicker than two short planks." The first was the Pirate Spatial Dart_Crane, who gave me the choice of "full stop now or die!!!". I elected to choose die, and opened fire on him. Fast forward three minutes and he was fleeing on fire, with my trusty Shire retaining shield integrity throughout.

I chased the bugger all the way to Freeport 1, at which point he docked. There's a report for the Zoners to chew on. Approximately seven seconds later, another ship undocked. This one was the Hessian bomber, FreeRheinland. This cheeky chappie flew to the next trade lane ring (on the way to Cambridge), before shooting it down and demanding a million credits.

Severely unimpressed, I prepared for the worst. My cynicism rewarded, the git fired a barrage of novas at me. Irritated, I charged my turrets and gave him a jolly good thrashing, probably invoking memories of the time he had asked his mother why she never loved him. After a few minutes of said Hessian fleeing in circles, wailing in abject terror, Jan Peters arrived to watch the festivities.

The Hessian crash docked on Freeport One without much more prompting. Strike two for the Zoners - I hope this won't become a frequent occurrence. From there, Jan scouted through to Stokes, where we moored and successfully offloaded cargo. Good shout there, sah.

Other Notes:
Assorted cretins have been added to the BBQ for flame-grilling. You chaps in ExSec - remember - the management likes it rare, so make your kills bloody.

Good evening all Bowex Employees!

I'm your new recruit, and hope to do you proud!

Since I came from a poor background, after joining, I picked up some seed money from Bowex)Orange to get myself a Percheron.
http://imgur.com/Cneohpd

After getting myself the Perchie, I started transporting gold from Graves to Ausburg, and bringing Tobacco back. Just doing my part to keep the war machine running *smirk*.

Today, I was on my usual supply route, joined by Bowex)Stobart, when we learned that there was a heavy Wilde/Nomad presence in Cambridge. We managed to bypass them, but keep an eye out for that in the future. Those scum will only get stronger with thugs like those Gallians seeking to weaken the glorious Empire. (sorry, no pictures, slipped my mind)

Finally, I made enough money to begin paying Bowex)Orange back with my first installment.

Expect more from (one of your) latest recruits to come!

RE: Bowex InfoNet - nerflek - 03-23-2013

Incoming transmission from:
Hans Liljefors, Planet New London, New London
.
Encyption: Medium.
Priority: Medium.
Subject: Convoy report.

Convoy participants:
  • BES Wilberforce.II, Shire, employee Hans Liljefors.
  • BES Braddock, Percheron, trainee Roy Stinger.

General information:
We flew refined gold from Graves station, Dublin to Augsburg orbital colony, Munich and then cigars back to planet New London, New London.

Incidents:
We ran into a hessian ship (callsign: Panzer) as we jumped through the O-3 gate to O-7. He posed no threat and asked only for a small donation, but no company funds were dispensed of course.
As we came back from Munich and flew through New Berlin we ran into a coalition vessel, (callsign: Vasily.Kuznetsov) but he was no issue either. Only babbled about how great communism was as I puffed honest, capitalistic smoke into the video feed.

Additional notes:
A successful trip, captain Stingeroy is doing quite well and is adept at handling a Percheron. Recommend promotion for captaining a Shire when possible.

Transmission ends.

RE: Bowex InfoNet - nerflek - 03-23-2013

Incoming transmission from:
Hans Liljefors, planet Cambridge, Cambridge
.
Encyption: Medium.
Priority: Medium.
Subject: Convoy report.

Convoy participants:
  • ExSec Jack Walker, Roc.
  • BES Wilberforce.II, Shire, employee Hans Liljefors.
  • BES Conway, Clydesdale, senior supervisor Jan Peters.
  • BES Charles.III, Shire, employee Johnathan Matthews.
  • BES Braddock, Percheron, trainee Roy Stinger.
  • BES Bramall, Shetland, supervisor Nigel Brown.
  • BES Hawking, Shire, supervisor Mark Sanders.
  • ExSec Frost <Unknown last name>, Virage.
General information:
After some crude organizing, we got the convoy going at our own Port Talbot.

Cobalt ore from Port Talbot:
*BES Wilberforce.II
*BES Charles.III
*BES Braddock

Polymers from Douglas station, Omega-3 to planet Manhattan, New York:
*BES Conway
*BES Bramall
*BES Hawking

On the way back, all transports (and the Conway) loaded up with superconductors which was shipped to Cambridge research station, Cambridge.

Incidents:
At first, Mr. Walker had to engage in combat with multiple Gallics in Leeds to secure the passage for two of our transports, so they could get to RV and start the convoy. He was assisted by one glorious BAF ship, two freelance fighters with the [Shade] tag and three Council ships and justice was dispensed swiftly.

On the way back in lane from planet Los Angeles to the Cortez jump gate, the convoy purposefully ran over a Zoner transport on accident. The transport survived the Wilberforce.II and the Conway, but BES Charles.III got him good. Should we receive a bill from the Zoners, I'm afraid we might have caused that.

Additional notes:
I hereby again recommend promotion for trainee captain Roy Stinger, he has proven himself very viable for larger convoys as well as small ones. Senior supervisor Jan Peters observed the same and agrees with me on this point.

Transmission ends.

Incoming Transmission from New London, New London
29. 04 820 A.S.
To: Infonet; Bowex Faction Members
Priority: Medium.
Topic: Convey - First day on the job.

Convoy Participants:
  • BES Enfield, Percheron - Kevin Cameron
  • BES Johnson, Shire - Andrew Peterson
  • ExSec Kiriko Hidamari

Convoy Information:
Originally intended to meet in New London, outside Canterbury however Mr Peterson was somewhat engaged in conversation with a new pilot, so myself and Miss Hadamari headed to Cambridge to pick up some luxury food, I tried some before leaving, it was a bit too rich for my liking however those Libertonians like it so we continued to take it to Curacao in Cortex and exchanged it for Tea, Though I am a coffee person myself and to my amazement found out the Miss Hadamari only drinks decaf with 12 spoons of sugar! We regrouped with Mr Johnson and proceeded on our journey to the Munich system on our way we encountered some IMG and tried to coerce them to get a real job with the BMM instead, but the lazy bums refused and so we continued our journey via the Omega systems, upon arriving in Munich we sold our tea and brought back some expensive cigars, myself and Mr Peterson decided to light one up upon our arrival back home in New London on a job well done.

Convoy Incidents:
The Omega systems were fairly quiet, a few rookies and a Bounty Hunter Gun Boat but nothing that our escort, Miss Hidamari, could not handle. I did have one moment where my auto piloting system was having difficulties with the Rheinland gates but after disabling it, all went well, we changed our formation from me being at the back to being in the middle since I was now on Manual I was docking the lanes a lot faster.

Other Notes:
I would like to thank both Andrew Peterson and Kiriko Midami for taking me on my first convey and that I look forward to flying with them again soon
