Independent Miners Guild Comm System (GuildComm) - Mining - 11-28-2011

I humbly appologize for having made a fool of myself by joining the FTU and attempting to speak for them. I will resume my prior engagements, having learned my lesson.

I will not be bothering you again, unless I desire to pay guild dues. I am flattered by your praise, if only others had the sight you do, maybe I wouldn't be quitting the job that caused it.

Until we meet again, honored Guildmaster.

Lance Howell, Independant Miner.

Gut day Gentlemen

First I will adress myself to Mister Narbonne. I apologize for the lateness of this report. I can't understand how this hasn't been posted yet.

I report about the mining half of our operation in Tau 23 last week. I am happy to inform that there were no problem when we were mining. All transport were filled in smallest amount of time and everyone was able to set off really soon. I cannot inform you of the rest of the trip, as I was only involved with the mining part.

I have attached a document with figures about data collected while mining as well as a guncamshot of when the convoy was about to leave. Who know, it might look well in a advertisement.

Next I address myself to mister Henderson.
I had contact with a pilot of Universal shipping. We met in New London and we agreed on a one time contract for a shipment of Gold ore. Once we headed out into Dublin, we switched onto a more secure frequency.

There were no incidents and the mining went smooth. We agreed on the prize of 3500 credit for ever unit of ore. The mining went so well, we actually received a little bonus.

I have provided the duplicate of the recorded conversation as well as the information of the scan of the ship.
In the last attachment you will find the proof of the payment.

Hello from the other side of Sirius again. Follows a report on our progress so far.

We received the special Nomad containing cells from OSD today. My Spatial as small enough was serviced directly in space, while the other two ships were worked on in their Freeport Docking slots. We have now officiall permission from OSD to continue our sample collecting and carry nomad remains in a safe order.

Here are some logs from our meeting : Log1, Log2, Log3.

We also received some research materiel and 3 specimens in good condition, which should prove to be of great value for our project.

The Order commander did have a request/question, which I am forwarding to the Guild here :
Request - Log1, Log2, Log3
Not my place to decide, but I see no difficulty in providing those ships.

We are now in position to continue with our research with all the samples and specimens we can collect.
We are still prohibited from entering Order space, and the permission for carrying nomad artifacts was not given, but we hope that too will come with time.

I have initiated a contact with the administration on Freport 11 about our permanent lodging here, but have no answer so far. We can continue to work from our temporary quarters for some weeks still, but if no answer comes, I will try and contact the authorities in Freeport XV. That however is not an issue for the moment.

That will be all for now.

Dr Vale, I must inform you that the Board is very pleased with the agreement you have drafted with the OSD. It is a very good basis for even a greater co-operation.

Regarding OSD's request, IMG retains many unused Hegemons in Tau-39. I am sure we can sell some of them to the OSD. So the next time you talk with them, you can inform them that their request is accepted and further negotiations about the price, etc should be conducted directly to the IMG, as their local agents in the Taus will likely be used to move the Hegemons into the deep Omicrons.

Miss Vale we would also like to ask you if the Order told you more things about the alien structure in the Newcastle system. We would also be interested to know if there are any security issues as the South Shields is quite close.

Good day, Ms. Thompson,

On behalf of our team I thank you for your kind words. We strive to please here.

I will inform the OSD about the conditions on the Hegemons deal.

Considering the alien structure in the Newcastle system, we were not allowed access to classified Order databases - something with the Order having problems with unauthorised attempts to enter those. We will try again to acquire some information, but I doubt we'll get anything - the commander I talked to was a bit jumpy about their security issues.

Gut day Mr. Henderson

Today I supported a mining mission in Dublin. As requested I flew out and did an in field check up of the state of the ships. I must say, they hold up rather well against such harsh conditions out there.
I must say, there seems to a problem with my nav map. It fails to identify jumpholes as such, but thats a different story.

I must urge you to please let all mafic fly in for a checkup, as the problem with the mininglaser shortcuts still seems real.

As a reminder I have a guncamshot portraying that the new upgrade for the hulls sooms to be doing its job.

Recruit Morgan Marcus Z reporting. I have successfully completed 3 of the assignments given to me as a fresh recruit.

1. My reputation with the IMG is all set, as you can see in the attached file:

Java Recruitment Office Report

Also, my reputation with the Mollys is neutral, as demonstrated by the report that Arranmore Base has kindly provided:

Arranmore Base Record

2. I have participated in a number of IMG mining missions, you can find the proof required in the attached file:

Dublin mining

3. I have filled a Gateway ship with gold ore and received payment for it, which I forwarded to the Guild accounts:

Personal log entry 34

Personal log entry 47

Only one assignment remains and so, I would like to ask for the control codes for one of the Guild's repair ships, so that I can assist in a dangerous mining operation.

Well done, Mr Bergmann! You are being promoted to a Guild Member, you are now one of us! Please don't underestimate the significance of the Repair Ships, I can assure you that they are a tremendous asset the right moment.

Mr Morgan, the access codes will soon be uploaded to your personal files.

Good day from the other side of known space,

I am happy to report that Omicron research team has now a permanent lodging on Freeport 11. Mr. Orphelia, the local administrator, was kind enough to arrange for all of our needs - housing, storage, lab space and docking. And all that for a reasonable price of 1 million SC a month. We hope that bodes well for our future cooperation.

Dr. Lynchpin had an interesting deal and a conversation with a Zoner captain, but I will leave to him to inform you on those.

We still have no answer from OSD concerning the alien structure in Newcastle.

All for the moment.
