RE: Liberty Forces Message dump - Wildkins - 05-18-2014 INCOMING TRANSMISSION
Location: Planet Manhattan, New York Origin: Liberty Navy Barracks Captain: John Graham Priority: Medium Encryption: High Subject: Report To Navy Command: I recently conducted operations in the Liberty core sectors, and am filing my report as per my orders as Cadet of the Liberty Navy. The following transcript will detail my actions in full. Transcript follows: --[May 11]--
I began by setting up my Executioner, outfitting it per suggestion by Adm. Rohj Teerin. After a small bit of training, he bid me farewell and I began patrol of the New York trade lanes. Before long, I came across a Lane Hacker by the name of 'Norman Bates', who immediately attempted to inject some type of virus into my navigation systems. Fortunately, my fighter's systems held solid, and I ordered him to surrender or face destruction. Unfortunately, I underestimated my target, and he was able to dispatch me after a short dogfight. I retreated in my escape pod to the nearest station and refit another Executioner.--[May 12]--
I took off from Newark the following day to begin patrols around New York once again. Before long, I happened upon Secondary Fleet Core vessels LNS-Tallahassee, LNS-Vanguard, and Assault-3, as well as an assisting AI vessel, Unit-433, engaging two destroyers, *Applejack* and s.Flint. Upon engagement, s.Flint took on the Tallhassee, while *Applejack* fled from the scene. I joined the engagement and helped destroy the vessel, but my vessel was damaged beyond repair as the destroyer was downed. --[May 14]--
I undocked from Planet Manhattan, and was busy punching in nav coordinates into my computer when I noticed an AI cruiser marked hostile on my targeting HUD. When I scanned the vessel, it appeared to be an AI cruiser that was running an IFF of 'Gallic Metal Service'. I inquired about the ships' origin and destination, representative faction, reason for being in house space, and ultimately informed it to leave Liberty space immediately due to violation of foreign warship laws. It began to run away, refusing all orders to halt. Adm. Teerin assisted me in attacking the vessel, but it proved too much and both of our vessels were destroyed. Afterward, I undocked in another surplus Executioner and did some idle patrols of Manhattan, while conversing with a nearby Freelancer, Joshua Hunt. While conversing, a hostile Lane Hacker appeared on my scanner, and I moved on him ordering him to surrender. We engaged in a dogfight for a few minutes, but eventually my ship was offed once again. --[May 16]--
While patrolling the New York sector once more, I joined up with LPI Captain Aryn and SWAT officer Valent, as well as LSF operative Arius. They were in the process of investigating a USI vessel by the name of Uhuru, who was refusing to give information regarding the destination and origin of his cargo. While the questioning happened, a Rogue bomber by the name of Fling came into scanner range, and our forces quickly dispatched him. Returning to questioning, the USI vessel eventually told us he was heading to Denver - we didn't believe him, naturally, because the commodity sells very poorly on Planet Denver - but nevertheless, allowed him to proceed there under escort and return to his origin, which was apparently Planet Erie. After this, we formed up with the LNS-Long.Range.Justice and began patrols of the Liberty area. We managed to destroy a rogue destroyer, an outcast gunboat, and multiple xenos.--[May 17]--
The next day, I took my normal route through Planet Manhattan when I came across a hostile Hegemon miner. I determined that it was running with a Rheinland Military IFF but a Freelancer ID. I questioned the vessel along with the LNS Santisima Trinidad, and after some questioning, determined that his cargo was from Rheinland territory and ordered him to drop it and return to Rheinland space. He did so, with some fuss, and I formed up with LPI Captain Aryn. We visited Rochester base where we found a Council bomber with a Pirate ID, who, after being ordered to surrender, began to fire upon us. We attempted to destroy it, but after Rogue and Hacker support showed up, we were defeated. Thus concludes my 8 hour service time report, in conjunction with my Cadet rank. Hopefully this is enough to satisfy the board of Admiralty of my service. Signed, Cadet Graham TRANSMISSION TERMINATED

COMM ID: Ensign John Graham TARGET ID: Liberty Naval Primary Fleet Reporting Center SUBJECT: Field Report ENCRYPTION: HIGH PRIORITY: MEDIUM To the Admiralty and High Command: I am reporting on my activities as of late in regards to my patrols and defense of the Liberty System.
Report complete. I hope that I am satisfying the needs of the Navy as best as possible.Starting on May 18th, I lifted off from Planet Manhattan due to a condition one alert. I received word that Texas was under attack by Rheinland forces, and I took my vessel to Texas. Along the way, I hired AI "Unit-433" and Freelancer Chris Vance to help support the Liberty fleet. The battle itself was too long for me to detail here, so I will simply leave my guncam footage as evidence: May 22nd was interesting. I first came across a large battle taking place near Fort Bush, which I determined was a large group of Hogosha and Freelancers ganging up on a 'Reaper', some freelancer who was spouting gibberish and engaging everyone in a 10k radius. I joined the pursuit into the Rochester field, to no avail - he escaped through Colorado. So I left Exelion, a secondary fleet LABC, to guard the jump hole, when on my scanner I detected multiple pirates, both freelancer / pirate ID and a Liberty Rogue group, running with the "PLR" IFF. It got weirder as the reaper re-appeared and the two factions grouped up to take him down. I eventually stopped the PLR vessel, getting him to apparently surrender - but it was just a ruse, as he attacked me immediately after 'surrendering'. We proceeded to dogfight around the jumphole for a large amount of time before a large amount of Rogue vessels appeared. The LABC Exelion left me behind and I was forced to run all the way to Long Island where I successfully outran all four rogue ships. Dogfight Rogue chase May 24th. I was alerted to the presence of the Rogue destroyer "Princess Cadence" by a secondary fleet bomber, LN-Archangel. They were around Bethlehem Station in Pennsylvania, apparently harassing the locals. We moved in to engage the bomber with capital support, and successfully offed the vessel, however my bomber was damaged beyond repair. Princess Cadence May 26th. I worked in Pennsylvania again, this time assisting =LSF= officials with the apprehension and destruction of two smugglers, using the USI export base to buy their goods. I then completed an inspection of the USI base and forwarded it to LPI- officials for their investigation. After that, I headed to Magellan due to reports of GRN vessels in the proximity. Our fleet eventually consisted of =LSF= snubs, myself in an Upholder, a USI escort wing, and two secondary fleet LABCs. Unfortunately, our fleet was unsuccessful in destroying the GRN invaders, and they moved on from Magellan to other systems. Smuggler GRN May 29th. Following the report of the destruction of a Liberty defense fleet in Texas, I moved to the Texas gate in New York and ordered a blockade of the system, bringing in all available vessels from Primary and Secondary Fleet, LPI, LSF, USI, DSE, and freelancer contracts. We successfully deterred the Rheinlanders from entering the system and moved to engage them in Texas, only to retreat under mild losses. Rheinland fleet June 1st. I undocked from West Point to a report from LPI Sergeant Valent informing me of a Lane Hacker gunship next to Long Island Station. As I arrived, the gunship was already taking hull damage from the weaponry of the station, and together with LPI officer Valent, he was quickly offed. I then moved to patrol Rochester field, where I came across Lui Calibur, who was in a freighter ID'd with a pirate ID. I quickly told him to surrender, but to no avail, and we began dogfighting. My ship was seriously damaged in the engagement, but his ship was destroyed, and I docked on Planet Manhattan for some much needed rest. LH gunship Sunburst 1 2 Ensign Graham, signing off. ****TRANSMISSION TERMINATED****

"I ah...well, I hadn't imagined things turning out the way they have gentlemen...but well, don't let me get off topic here."
Rachel pauses, sighing softly before looking back to the vid-screen. "Those doctors on Manhattan did a hell of a job for me, and I've been informed of the changed circumstances, should I wish to return to the Navy. With that said, we've to the purpose of my message; You should consider this my request for reinstatement.." She winces slightly, looking to the datapad in her hands, and then back to the vid-screen. "I'm still in a whole lot of pain, but I am physically able to perform the tasks of a pilot, or soldier, in the ranks of the Navy...I'll be transmitting a full medical report, along with the official documents needed for reinstatement, to the High Command Headquarters at the conclusion of this vid-message." Rachel nods to the monitor. "I always said I was a "Captain at heart"..so maybe this is a good thing." She lets out a soft laugh before reaching up to turn off the vid-recorder. Captain Rachel A. That said - and I'm no surgeon here - your status in the medical report is, well, not quite what we'd expect. I know you well though; if you say you're up for reinstatement, I believe it. Welcome back as a Captain. You'll soon find yourself back in a familiar office as well - assuming you can locate it underneath the loads of paperwork involved. RE: Liberty Forces Message dump - Pinko - 06-19-2014 ****INCOMING TRANSMISSION****
COMM ID: Cadet Hélène DupuisTARGET ID: Liberty Naval Primary Fleet Reporting Center SUBJECT: Flight report ENCRYPTION: Standard PRIORITY: Low ![]() To the Admiralty and High Command,
My first 'patrol', if I may say so, started by acquiring my Executioner, which was drydocked in Richmond Military Academy, in Virginia. Actually handling a military grade ship, not the ones dumbed down in the academy, olr those old Defender models we often train with, brought quite a tingling feeling to my heart. I then made my way from Virginia system to Minnesota to meet up with Captain Baker. It was intimidating to meet such a great hero of the Liberty fleet in person, but she's also just human like all of us. Understandably so, Captain Baker had a slight distrust towards my origin (nothing serious worth reporting, no xenophobia or racism), but she did seem to take a serious interest about my abilities and my motives. Mentioning her recent injurings, I seem to have hit some kind of soft spot with her. She started asking me how far I was ready to go to serve my nation, Liberty. My reply was that I was in for the duration, that I didn't join in a whim, especially not considering I already knew about the multiple wars Liberty was fighting at once. Baker didn't seem entirely satisfied with my answer, though, while understanding my motives. Metting with Lt. Commander Morse, she decided that she would bring me on some kind of pilgrimmage, to "show me the price of vigilance", as stated by herself. Escorted through Z-21, we met with a Liberty Security Force agent comandeering a Siege Cruiser. Playful banter led from one to the other, I seem to have slightly offended the LSF agent with my misguided perception of the Security Force. Nonetheless, I swiftly apologized and he was quick to forgive me. After stating our reason for venturing into Z-21 and Alaska (reasonable demand due to my rookie status), I was given temporary access codes from my superiors and was allowed to jump into the system. Closely following their lead, as I was already intimidated by the simple fact of being present in such a harshly regulated area of Liberty, as well as not wanting to be lost alone in the thick nebula of the system, I was escorted to Prison Station Mitchell, where I was explained that all of Liberty's greatest national threats reside here, and that only one of its prisoner had ever escaped its confines, President Jacobi, saved by the Freelancer Edison Trent and the Order during the Nomad Wars. "Today, Jacobi has schools, hospitals and streets named after her", remarked Captain Baker, before escorting us to Ellesmere, where she stated that there was more to see. Ellesmere is a pain to navigate through. You can't spot the multitude of rocks and asteroids untilt they're right up your nose, and your radars are basically fried. I didn't know if it was because of the natural storms, or because of man-made interferences, and I don't really care to ask. Keeping visual sight of the Captain, we entered a system that I believe is named Omicron Minor. There, we saw more rocks and more nebulas for a good while, but soon enough, we were stuck int he middle of a graveyard. Ships that I recognized of Bounty Hunter models, others that were more exotic, but oddly ressembled Liberty Fighters. There it was, though. The most horrifying sight I've had in my life. "It used to be nothing but snow.", said Captain Baker. I had issues believing it. All I could see was a planet struck by catastrophy. She and Morse told me about the battle of Omicron Minor. How the Nomads came and destroyed it all. How the crew of the Isis, that I had first confused for a Liberty Navy capital vessel, fought to the last man died to get a few more transports out. Millions of people died. Only 10% managed to escape the massacre. "Where are their schools, hospitals and streets?" Then nothing made sense to me anymore. If this happens right in our backyard, why are the Houses so divided? Why are we at war with Rheinland and Gallia? Nonetheless, my decision was made: I am still present, and I know I can do a change, a difference. If I give it all, I know I can change Sirius for the best. I have all the reasons in the world to fight for, and I will not give up on my House. Hopefully, my resolve will help me do more than "save a few transports", with all due respect. We then made our way back to New York, but it seems that our little visit triggered a few sensors, as we were greeted by a few more LSF agents in Alaska, who questioned how wise it would be to bring a recruit in such restricted spaces. After comforting them, and shortly explaining our pilgrimage, we were back in New York, where I ended my patrol at West Point academy. IN RESUME: -Acquired "Executioner" Heavy Fighter -Patrolled Virginia, Minnesota, Texas and New York, no signs of Pirate, Terrorist or Enemy activity. -Entered Zone-21 and Alaska. -Cruised through Ellesmere. -Explored Omicron Minor. -Return to New York. -End of patrol, clocked in at a around 2 hours of activity. RE: Liberty Forces Message dump - Pinko - 06-19-2014 ****INCOMING TRANSMISSION****
COMM ID: Cadet Hélène DupuisTARGET ID: Liberty Naval Primary Fleet Reporting Center SUBJECT: Flight report ENCRYPTION: Standard PRIORITY: Standard ![]() To the Admiralty and High Command, I attempted to make this day a productive day today after the inspiration Captain Baker gave to me after our flight together. I first formed up with Lt. Commander Jensen, when I was suddenly contacted by a pilot of the Kusari Naval Forces, stating that agents of Liberty were tresspassing in their House. Knowing that the relationship between our Houses are already cold, I took the matter in my hands and contacted the pilots, who turned out to be LSF escorts of a convoy. Knowing that I LSF matters are not part of my jurisdiction, I gave them a stern warning and told them to simply let the convoy get mercenary escorts the next time. That's taking Financial Security to a whole new level. The conversation was polite, and soon enough they left Kusari space. The Kusari officer thanked We then took shelter for the duration of the Ion storm that was brewing. Lt. Commander Jensen undocked, only to fall face to face with a Hellfire terrorist. Not giving us any other option, we were forced to engage him. Unfortunately, the Ion Storm was perhaps still affecting our systems, as neither Jensen and I had full control over the maneuvrability of our ships, causing the both of us to get shot down. I was lucky enough to ejected and return to Philly station. A few hours later, the alarms rang at Philly when an unidentified vessel with odd transponders was approaching the station. As I was the only Navy pilot on board of the station at the time, I volunteered to investigate. The men of Philly had done a good job salvaging my ship and putting it back in shape. There I met a pilot bearing known Rogue transponders and flying a Z-line ship. Having been informed that Rogue vessels get every so often accidentally leased to civilians as part our training at West Point, I cautiously warned the ship of the situation it was in. The pilot was not entirely cooperative, and I then used my judgment to enforce Liberty law. ...Unfortunately it did not go so well as I had forgotten to get my supply of Bots before leaving the station. I was lucky enough to have Captain Baker on duty nearby to save my skin, instead of getting spaced for the second time in a single day. The Rogue surrendered, Lt. Commander Morse arrived on scene, I re-supplied (well, more like supplied) and got swift repairs, and from there we escorted our prisoner to Sugarland. The prisoner tried to run away once, but after that was mostly cooperative, even going so far as to refuse to dock on a Junker base we happened to fly next of. She was then hastlity (but fairly, given the circumstances) judged and is to be incarcerated for an undisclosed amount of time on the station Condensed report: -Prevented diplomatic incident between Kusari and Liberty -Patrolled Pennsylvania, New York, California. COMM ID: Cadet Hélène DupuisTARGET ID: Liberty Naval Primary Fleet Reporting Center SUBJECT: Flight report + End of Cadethood ENCRYPTION: Standard PRIORITY: Standard ![]() To the Admiralty and High Command, Launching from Houston in Texas, I was warned by my long range scanners of possible embargo breakers being present in Hudson. Taking the lane towards it, thinking it was going to be a relatively simple mission, I end up face to face with a Cadet's worst nightmare: an indoctrinated nomad-worshipping Outcast battleship. Thinking fast, I immediatly requested for Capital fleet backup and kept track of the target. Assisting in its assault, my task was to kep the vessel disrupted as the fleets were making their way towards Hudson. While we took no casualties, the ship unfortunately managed to use its Jump Drive. This seems to have contraried the captain of the Norfolk II, who took out his rage on a poor Rogue who had just arrived on scene. Returning to Liberty space, the Capital fleet returned to its normal duties and I myself headed to New York, where I met up with Graham, who was making supply runs for Long Island. At the very same moment, I was "lucky" enough to catch a Zoner illegally carrying Stabiline. As the vessel was extremely cooperative and that the amount transported was relatively small, I judged that the bonus we would receive from this seized cargo would be enough of a fine, and I let him go with a stern warning. I then met Alina, Junker pilot of the "Junkyard Artist". While she was nice enough, I will make sure to... "monitor" her activities at the best of my abilities. There was something fishy about her. She suggested she was Ex-LSF, but you know how these gyps-, I mean, Junkers can be. I then provided assistance to Graham in his supply runs, only to end up face to face with quite the odd creature: A Libery Security Force pilot sitting right next of the Capital. Now, I'm not expert, and I do know the Order uses heavily modified Liberty designs for their ships, and I do know the LSF has access to some top level equipment, but I find that that parading said equipment, especially when it is known by the public as terrorist's ship seemed unwise at best to me. I shared my concerns with the pilot, who scoffed at them. Graham told me to ignore her. Ah well. It's at this moment that my comms picked up an odd signal coming from a hostile ship, the very same one that shot me down during my earlier patrol. Tracking it down, we nearly caught up with the Hellfire pilot, but the LSF inadvertedly helped its escape, shooting down the lane the moment it entered it, giving it just the clear it needed to make an escape. At least, the Lakewood and Graham were safe for now. Moments later, an odd sight came to me: an Unione Corse pilot comandeering a Gallic Brigand gunboat. Knowing that we are on neutral terms with the Corsicans, but that Gallic Brigand equipments are illegal, I decided to use diplomacy to convince the pilot to leave Liberty space. My plan worked, and the Corsican gladly followed my lead. He was pleasantly surprised by my origins, which certainly eased the situation. Halfway there, Graham decided to transfer a lump sum to my account for my assistance during the evening. which I gladly accepted. The Corsican did the same for me once it was safely escorted out of Liberty, and I suggested that next time he could try and get an exception from the Government to bring his ship to Liberty. On my way back home, about to end my patrol, I entered the lane at the same time an LPI had, who seemed quite angered by my act and took justice in his own hands, if I may say so, by frying my shields. Just as I were about to end my run and was about to call it a night, I noticed that I had logged just enough hours for my Cadethood to come to an end. I celebrated this event by paying a round to the pilots in the bar of the Missouri. I hope to hear from you soon on this matter. Condensed report: -Located Outcast Battleship in Texas. Failed to destroy Battleship in Hudson with Capital fleet support, where it jumped away to safety. -Met up with the commander of the LLS-Lakewood, Graham, to begin escort duties. (Received 5 million credits in gratitude.) -Met Alina, a Junker that I shall monitor. -Met a LSF agent flying a Nephtys in civilian space. -Intercepted but failed to destroy Hellfire terrorist vessel. -Escorted Unione Corse Brigand Gunboat vessel out of Liberty. (Received 5 million credits in gratitude.) -Accumulated enough hours to end Cadethood by the end of my patrol. Signing out, Cadet Hélène Dupuis. ****TRANSMISSION TERMINATED****
