This may get pretty hot, remember to remain constructive and polite to each other.

Get it right.
GRN| and [LN] have some shared membership... The GRN| and Reavers have shared membership...

As far as I am aware, the shared membership between K'hara and any of those is extremely limited, and the shared membership between [LN] and Reavers is tiny... I am no longer a member of the Reavers (should totally remove those sigs from circulation), and I think after one particular reaver was removed from the [LN] for being a complete jerk, there is only one active [LN] member who is an active Reaver.

The funny thing is, that "clique" is not so much a clique, as most people would put it... But actually a group of factions who have just as much shared membership as you could find between the BAF and KNF, or RM and Order, or whatever two factions you could possibly pick. It's nonsense. They bicker, argue and disagree as much as any other random pairing or grouping of factions you could find. They get on and cooperate as much as any random pairing or grouping of factions you could find... Thhe idea of saying "X factions are a clique" is mildly silly...

Also, hi... How's it goin'?

As it was mentioned before, from a military perspective it would make total sense for Gallia to drag Kusari and Rheinland into the war (encircle and destroy your enemy has been one of the basic military strategies for thousands of years).
Imagine how the current situation would look to an outsider: Gallia is at war with Liberty, they are stronger, Liberty is at war with Rheinland, they are much stronger, Gallia and Rheinland are on friendly terms, why the heck are they not allied? Even when you toss Bretonia into the mix, they are far too weak to fight a 2 front war, just like Rheinland, so that would be probably small time border conflicts.
As for Rheinland loosing Bretonia as a trading partner, does it really matter that much, considering they would have Kusaru and Gallia to trade with?
Kusari of course also seems a logical ally here, considering they are practicaly a puppet state to Gallia.
On the other side you have a somewhat weaker alliance, let's say Liberty, Bretonia, Council, Outcast factions ( some of which already have agreements with Bretonia), Colonials, and some other minor factions...
There is a very interesting story right there, a massive war between 2 alliances, with SCRA and Nomads trying to do their role in all that.
But I guess due to a strong ooRP sense of patriotism (mainly from american players) space America can never be put into even slightly compromising situations where they won't be the strongest side...

You're telling me that Liberty lawfuls don't want to have at least one war going on? Hell, you're flat out implying that the house as a whole "doesn't want to krieg"? You'd better have a talk with half the damn house of Liberty, then, because all the stuff that keeps visiting Magellan and Hamburg sure tells a different story.

You should probably stop spouting blatant lies as if they're set-in-stone fact. I assume you're aware that I have more characters than just my GRN| ones, right?

Lord forbid some of them might have made their way into Liberty and - perish the thought - have actually shot at non-Libertonian or Bretonian things. Wise up, please.

I'll leave it to you to connect the dots.

Then all of a sudden lore states that Bretonia is weak because of player skills and numbers. No, this is not mod progression, this is a circle jerk of skype friends or associates making sure their side always wins.

RE: The Almighty Gallia - Silver - 02-23-2014

I agree with Omi. We aren't even participating much in GRN/BAF/[LN] raids due to Duncan (his SRP does not allow to pew with Reavers around), most of our people are either flying GRN or [LN] when that happens. And the last BAF/Reaver interactions (aka pewpew) had nothing to do with [LN] or GRN. Omega-9 and New London are an example of that.
Last [LN]/GRN/Reaver that happened involved only LNS gankfleet, GRN snubs and Reaver snubs. Didn't saw an official [LN] there or BAF|.

And guess who applied to BAF?

RE: The Almighty Gallia - 7AlphaOne1 - 02-23-2014

Can anybody think of reviving the edge instead of activating the already hyperactive house war circuit?

edit :OMG! VETS!

RE: The Almighty Gallia - Ryummel - 02-23-2014

Still means you can't blame the LN/GRN guys for being faction fanatics.

RE: The Almighty Gallia - Xylo - 03-09-2014

I think I hit a nerve.

RE: The Almighty Gallia - nOmnomnOm - 03-09-2014

I just have to say one thing Alte.

The amout of people that play this game is what? At its max 200? more? Thats what the facebook group suggests.
So that are bound to be skype friends that like to hang around in the same factions.

No big. there cant be any serious RP changing metagaming cuz there are faction leaders at the head.

This is also why I play as a pirate/semi-lawful....
All this house war is funny to watch from the sidelines.
