Seriously though, very nice design. I prefer this one over the design SMI up there linked simply because it still holds the look of the cruiser instead of a slightly flattened Elbe. Just think this looks better in the cruiser line.

This was actually a good design, and me (and alot of other players) and it'd have quite unique features with that gun of his, but the devs already dropped that one =\'

Out of topic, but I think the Tridente should be BW gunship. It fits perfectly into the line.

On topic: There is nearly 100% positive feedback, so it would be logical to bring RMBC into the mod (Seems community wants it)

Even though a model is approved by the community, it can still be rejected for lore reasons, balance reasons, style reasons or other reasons along those lines.
I personally do not really see any lore issues in this. Judging by the shape, I wouldn't say that there would appear a balance issue, but that's up to the balance devs to decide.
In any case, I am personally highly in favour of adding this ship to the mod.

First of all, thanks for the positive feedback.


Since i'm a bit busy with RL things, there is not much space for model making and disco stuff at the moment. I hope that i can return to my beloved Maya soon and do more stuff. The Rheinland battlecruiser is my second model now which i've ever made.

Exactly. This hidden section don't need a free view to the front. That's why the engineers... *coughs*... decided to hide it behind the reinforced front.

It's a safe room for the canteen. So the crew can enjoy their Apfelstrudel and Bier in peace, without to worry about a pressure loss during a battle. Tongue

But it is up to the captains for what purpose they want to use the rooms.
Technically seen, windows on space ships are pure luxury and aren't realy needed becouse the crew can see things via ship sensors anyway. But just imagine a space ship without windows. It would look terrible.

That's the Observation Bridge, which should always have a good view to the front. Those guys inside there have a dangerous job indeed.

You can. Maybe you need some plugins for your browser or something. There should be a notice from Sketchfab regarding this error.

My version can also have a forward gun. Well, iRP at least. I didn't made a forward gun HP yet becouse i was unsure if the devs will be happy about it. But i had it in mind and it can still be added later. If there is interest in a FG for the "Rhein"-class from the devs side, i will be happy to make a BC FG model.
There are two possible areas which could carry one.

Sadly, that model has been completely lost. I submitted it to Aeternus, who lost it. The copy I had was then subject to a HDD failure.

Back on topic, I think that this version has turned out absolutely splendid!
