I think this calls for the reinstatement of Golanski's Guard.

Kek.

I don't know if this is a bad or a good thing, but it's a pretty funny development anyways.

RE: Discussion Faction rephacked hostile: Order - sindroms - 02-03-2015

Yeah.
I think this could be fun. At least it is something new.

The most logic choice would be to make only TAZ hostile, and the other factions perhaps even at no-dock level, but full red? That punishes more factions that have real RP around order, like the SolaR's and OSI. While we would always support TAZ, we would never antagonize and go full hostile against Order. That's not OSI not zoner way of doing things.

This is utterly bad. Doesn't change much for order ingame, despite not being able to use FP11 anymore (only zoner base they use, really), but it really ruins a lot of things for zoners (AGAIN!!!). It completely ignores 4 factions lores, 3 of which are officials. And that without mentioning the bunch of lolwutz that will overflow the omicrons now.

If you think a faction/group of players broke rules/ID, punish them and not all zoners, plox.

How about you read a bit before you post? Karst already explained it just a few posts above yours.

(02-03-2015, 11:53 AM)Karst Wrote: That may work from the Zoner side, but not the Order side since all those factions have the same IFF (Zoner).

Ladies and gentlemen, this happens when you treat a Generic Faction as a Non-Generic Faction, give lore to it, and then expect a not so cohesive entity to behave like a cohesive one. Good job. Now, when will the official Zoner factions get their own IFF? And when will Zoners be treated as they should have been for years, freelancers of the edge and borderworlds?

And you are both wrong.

Mind explaining why exactly are we wrong, or should I just consider it as a "you are wrong because I said so/I'm right"?

RE: Discussion Faction rephacked hostile: Order - Stoat - 02-03-2015

This would be a much more suitable sanction IF The Order were in some way actually penalised by it. As I see it, the Zoners are the only suppliers of The Order. With their primary, and let's face it, only ally now hostile, The Order would be unable to keep many, if any, of their ships flying. Now, if The Order had all of it's capital fleet grounded, that might actually kick off some RP of benefit as they either search for new suppliers, or work their asses off trying to appease the Zoners.

With what stoat said then, get rid of the line where it says they can use battleships and cruiser. I completely agree with stoat.

I've heard that they're taking Dabadoru in the next update. Omicron Rho is a few K away from it - Makos.

Now that they're ALSO fighting the Zoners, they're alone against The Core, The Nomads, The Zoners, The Outcasts and The Corsairs. The Blood Dragons and the Bundies in Rheinland are way too far away to help them.

This thread is an example that actions have consequences. But, if the Order isn't penalized by this, the so-called consequences are just empty threads on this forum and new "kill all red!1!!" spams in local chat around Delta.

Yes, I'm in Core|, not denying it, but it still makes no sense for them to be able even to take Dab. They would've had to deal with Makos before they started this 'war' with the Zoners, and now they also need to cope with un-fueled ships. S:

I'm not saying The Order should just die out completely, because they're a cool faction coming from Vanilla, but still. Currently, they're getting kicked in the teeth by multiple people at once.

You mean, apart from "hurr durr omicron 99 nomad quickscoping" incidents?

RE: Discussion Faction rephacked hostile: Order - Omi - 02-03-2015

how exactly is this a sanction

"we're punishing order by letting them engage even more things"
