That part of the sanction is completely unfounded. Here are the logs with timestamps. Should've reported him instead of shooting him... RE: Please release the Core| Caps - GuapMan - 05-04-2016 we honestly do need Lyth for this kind of things, we can't really do much without having leadership being able to speak for us etc. Even if he does get unbanned for the time being, Just till all of this overcomes - then serves his time later on, that would even help. RE: Please release the Core| Caps - Thyrzul - 05-04-2016 (05-04-2016, 12:19 PM)Alley Wrote: We didn't sanction the attack of FP11 or Zoners involved in the fight, we sanctioned Core's refusal to let a dead Order player leave the system and random, unjustified kills of people that had nothing to do with it outside of their ID allowances. Then the following section of the sanction writeup was/is incorrect and/or misleading: (05-04-2016, 06:56 AM)Garrett Jax Wrote: Just to get this out of the way, because it was stated time and again just prior to every rule violation you all committed: EDIT: And damn it, ppl, quit with this "we need Lyth for this and that" bullcrap. You don't need Lyth, you need responsible leadership, and if Lyth is as responsible as to get himself banned for a while with a silly vid, then again for a bit more time with attempt at ban evasion, he is the last one you need here.
RE: Please release the Core| Caps - Xenon - 05-04-2016 Creating a rule violation means chaos if not dealt with, and i am not against anybody here, I am just reminding you all that no one is above the rules Violations happened, therefor sanctions take place. I am always with the option that says "Give another chance" but also i believe that without discipline, the server will be in chaos. The entire subject is in the administrators hands now, so let's see how they are going to balance this issue. You might need to apply justice and mercy, or one of them only, so good luck RE: Please release the Core| Caps - WesternPeregrine - 05-04-2016 If you want to punish the server activity, bastilling the Core main fleet is the way to go. If you want to punish the core for rule breaking, there were other ways to do it without disqualifying one of the two sides of the equation. Credit fines, losses of guns, you know, you do those all the time. Lyth should be allowed to resume his activities on Probation of sorts (rp posts only?), and go back to his jail after a set time (end of the month?). Before that, he and the Core should take steps to lead their operations and behaviour to a situation where it is stable (even if not without conflict with the zoners). RE: Please release the Core| Caps - Thyrzul - 05-04-2016 Just fyi Core aren't/weren't the only ones hunting supply convoys/transports. RE: Please release the Core| Caps - Chrono - 05-04-2016 So 3 pages into this thread and I've seen one glaring OBVIOUS issue here that people are either choosing to ignore, or are attempting to say "Shouldn't matter due to increasing activity and blah blah blah... If you break the rules, you get in trouble, its the same as when you are in school, at work, and in the world. Trying to give excuses for why a player, group, or full on faction shouldn't be sanctioned for breaking the rules is completely void when it comes to the PLAINLY DEFINED RULES. Lyth got temp banned for vulgarity on the forums, he had his temp ban extended because he decided to circumvent the ban in order to do forums work for his faction. I.E. The origin of his ban has NOTHING TO DO with the current issue at hand. As for the core ships AND THE ZONER SHIPS AS WELL that violated the rules during the different combat engagements have no ground to stand on because the BLATANTLY broke the rules. If it were a single ship during a 1v2 engagement that got sanctioned for such rules infringements as have happened in the BIG fight in Delta, then no one would cry for more than 5 minutes. This is a simple case of multiple rule violations on a large scale. Moral of the story, if you break the rules, you get in trouble. RP Activity or not, they dun goofed, they dun got busted, end of story. P.S. I do believe the ships that were bastilled are there until the admins decide what to do about them as is stated in the sanction, so you might want to consider that before you all start complaining. For all we know, the admins may very well decided to turn this whole thing into a full on event with its own set of temporary rules. RE: Please release the Core| Caps - Stone21 - 05-04-2016 Yea, everyone defend the Core and Lythriux, they're martyrs! No, no, don't even look behind at those people they've annoyed, no don't look at their attitude which is the real reason there is out of role play hate, no don't, just keep defending rude players and people who know only to create trouble and 0 enjoyment for others. I swear most of those who actually logged in during these days and attacked Core, haven't done it out of happiness. RE: Please release the Core| Caps - Gagadug. - 05-04-2016 So basically youre saying you dont like us and some of the players specific and thats why its ok to disregard inRP allying limitations, ooRPly take part in the conflict and generally hating all Core players ? well done RE: Please release the Core| Caps - Silver - 05-04-2016 (05-04-2016, 12:34 PM)Thyrzul Wrote: . Well, then Core better step up and get a visible leader in the forums, because the flames are high, and a centralized voice, of a leadership in Core is needed. If Lyth was banned due to childish stuff, then the 2iC should step up.
