Adding 2 thrusters does double the drain in my experience with other mods. Not sure if it's a setting or not, but it makes sense to double the drain on it. Still, with two enhanced thrusters, it's still going to take a bit of a time to drain it, and with e-kill, well, you're going to cover some distance.

Honestly, my chief complaint is that it'd just be used as an annoyance mobile. A little dart ship that can't be killed running around manhat lulzing.

*grins* My ideal: Two thrusters, no guns, no nothing. Fragile as heck. Use it exclusively for racing. Crashing into asteroids= dead.

I've a thought, which somewhat deviates: Ship specific equipment. Like the spyglass scanners. Things that you can only get if you buy the ship for it.
Fighter missile turrets, trader missile turrets. Flack turrets of the same. Better thrusters, thrusters with different effects, etc...

A Heavy Assault Cruiser, anyone? I made one out of Legos. It isn't exactly color-schemed, but the concept of it is good. It's like a cross between a LH GS and a Praefect. It has one forward gun and 8 turrets. All weapons fire forward, 4 fire back, 4 to either side, 6 up, and 2 down.

or if I move a few pieces around...

Heavy Transport
Less armor plating, same number of turrets. 4000 cargo, no forward gun, less firepower, weaker shield, etc.

For what faction, I have no idea.

Xing, would i be able to ask you to try making a Liberty Revenue Cutter ship?

I was thinking just like the Liberty GB stats, but maybe slightly lower armor, slightly larger cargo hold, and a make it coast guard-y.

Like with the diagonal racing strip on the skin, somewhere, maybe even a light paintjob, when compared with the matte grey normally used.

And this would render cruise... *crowd* Useless! Unless it'd just be a formality saying, "Hey, I'm retreating!"

Anywho, my suggestions on Kusari/Bretonia: Two things that counter eachother in their own ways. They are at war, after all. Not sure about the specifics, but I think thats the way to go.

This is not exactly about player faction specific ship. Its about special -class- vanilla house ships. Liberty house already got his.
Although, yes I might do this if I have enough material to make it. I need reference picture if possible, or a very complete description.

I like the idea of a special Bretonian gunboat with missiles.

Bretonian Missile Frigate: Developed secretly as a new way to counter nimble Kusari fighters.

Turrets: 6-8 missile turrets(Special, fast moving missiles, maybe less damage)

Hull: Less than the normal gunboat.

Similar in size and agility to the lane hacker gunship, looks like a small Bretonian Destroyer.

I would like to turn this conversation back to interceptors. I like the idea of a Interceptor being able to travel at cruise speeds using thrust. (It is possible to do with one thruster btw) It makes perfect sense to me. The one balance check that I will put on the ship is a zero thruster recharge rate. This way you can have your high velocity, but when you run out the pilot will need to dock to reload.

I am going to tinker with the arrow and submit it on the dev forum for a little testing.

If it would be possible to get it accepted, I'd also give them a slightly faster cruise speed (only 50 or so) and a quick cruise-charge speed. Fast thrust doesn't help all that much if they're already cruising and you need to catch up to 'intercept' them.
