On my salvager, I can never find any .:j:.'s

While considering the fact that this is the game, i'd like you to imagine the following situation.

Lawfuls, who've been
2 Liberty Gunboats
2 Very Heavy Fighters

fighting

Xenos who were
1 Heavy Fighter
1 Bomber
and 1 Very Heavy Fighter

Where exactly is the point to for a junker to "engage Xenos" in terms of fair play?

Just a thought.

Have a great evening.

.:j:. Junker Congress Faction Feedback - Hawk - 09-24-2010

Not sure. Could you be a little more specific like tell me which Junker you are talking about?

.:j:. Junker Congress Faction Feedback - darthbeck - 09-24-2010

Right. Penpen. At the time that we engaged the navy had lost a fighter, and we decided to take out the bomber.

The intent was to take out the bomber and then withdraw a short distance, however, it didn't work out that way, and we ended remaining in combat.

It wasn't the greatest bit of fair play, and I suppose I should offer my apologies for it, however, if we had not intervened, there was a reasonable chance that you would've managed to take out the lawfuls, and since there was another xeno lurking around(who was in a starblazer, but we diden't know that untill he joined the fight) I decided it was prudent to give the lawfuls a slight hand.

ID Junker

.:Flagship_Scavanger:.

Mr. Crow I would like to announce to the crew of the Council that you are admired by me for your fast actions and quick Question of the issues that where imposed on me and my crew that I was a Imposter to resolve the issues that where at hand.

I would like to clear things up on the post that it was a miscommunication time-past that I was re-guarded as a council member and was not. the miscommunications came when I was born into the junkers by a crew called the "Debris_Scavanger" via hence the name .:Flagship_Scavanger:. now. I was when starting out just "Scavanger". and was informed by mr crow that my name came at a timely manner as for a member of your council had dissapeared around the same time as i came in as a junker. I am not him never clamed to be.

Debris_scavanger knew this and must have not realized the others reguarded me as the Scavanger you all know... I was reguarded as a Council member without being intered into your database. misunderstanding, lack of knowledge at the time. I reguard the Council as friendly and hope to place that with all of you as well. To be a council member would be nice. but for now i have been away for a while and would like to get aquanted with the area again before i officially request a application for membership.

Hopefully, this clears things up with Fin and the rest of the council and hopefully I can still be in some of your gatherings as I enjoyed them.

Captain of the Scavenger,
Aye, indeed it does clear things up.
I and the Congress thank you for taking the time to explain this to us, and am glad that our esteemed Arbiter Congressman Crow was able to offer closure to this issue.

For my part, I would like to apologize for being so brusque and defensive.
Looking at your post in the sanction area....

.:j:.Flagship_Scavanger.
...I hope you can see where my confusion lies, in that you were sporting a .:j:. Congress tag before your name. While it's not unheard of for a Congressman to be sanctioned, it is exceedingly rare, and I was not trying to berate you for mistakenly using our tag, as much as I was protecting the image of the .:j:.Congress.
I hope you can understand this.

And again, allow me to tender my apologies.

I've felt this way for a while now, but I am genuinely impressed with the way the Junkers have handled various situations inRP. Beating around the bush, being somewhat annoying, and using your incredible powers of obfuscation when it comes to your less than legal activities is really very cool and very in character when it comes to being Junkers.

Despite that, having led factions before, I also understand how difficult it can be to keep certain things inRP, especially with the current things that have been going on for your faction in Bretonia and Liberty. All I can say is that you boys put up with a lot, and no matter what some people say, it's pretty impressive.

Best,
elgato

<a biased point of view starts here>
A paranoid mind might start to think that the Congress has provoked that crisis in Bretonia to do this, which looked like a huge power-grab, a sneaky attempt to make one more step to enforce the Congress' power over the indies. (Keyword: a paranoid mind).
Not that such plot does not fit you :-D.

Another thing: keep the indie Junkers informed about their situation. E.g. this topic was to Congress members only. So the indie junkers have to RP not being informed about it, the whole crisis and the outcome.

From - at least - a propaganda point of view, you should announce it to the whole junker population. (Obviously not he whole truth).

I don't see how we could do a "power grab." It was basically letting the indies know that we may need them to pew pew in Bretonia. Since the crisis was solved rather quickly, we no longer need them to do so.

If something massive happens to Junkers as a whole due to our actions, we'll let them know. Most of the time, it simply isn't their business.

Great roleplay a few hour ago I believe.

Also Nice to see you guys in and around Bretionia more. Seen it over the past couple of months, and just want to say its something good.

Side note: remember one of your members, if I remember rightly has now left, helped me greatly in getting a Salvager originally. I kinda guessed he thought I was a new player. But not the Average noob, er i'm rabbling now.

But I would like to say that you are such a good group of people. I always enjoy seeing you all around when ever I see you guys.

Keep it up.
