Would be interesting to know the answer to the above, as much as the easy money is nice, we'll all be billionaires if this goes on too long. If we're keeping it going, maybe tone down the profits a bit. If we're ending soon, maybe swap to another part of the universe with a new event? RE: Trade Event: Winter Has Come - Aazalot - 02-12-2019 can the migrants remain as a commodity for pygar/corfu if the plot is that its being colonised obviously the price would be nerfed in line with other trade routes but for RP reasons i think it would be worth keeping in. Or something similar anyways RE: Trade Event: Winter Has Come - kerfy - 02-12-2019 like an underground railroad of sorts .. RE: Trade Event: Winter Has Come - Kaze - 02-12-2019 There are plans to continue with the migrant commodity (at a lower price, since this event was in part not only to kick off the new series of events but also to compromise for the loss of two days during the server migration) due to the roleplay that generated from the event and for the players/factions that followed through with it.
The Components commodity is however up in the air and up to the players/factions if they want to follow through with it to fuel the resistance in Sydney Gran Canaria. As in, roleplay with it, and maybe Dusty's grams will not chastise you for not being rp. Albeit there is little time left. So yes. Get ready for a flogging. She's a nasty grams. Huzzah Canaries! <3 RE: Trade Event: Winter Has Come - Zoners of Galileo - 02-12-2019 I must say ...... great event Large earnings which I am confident attracted a lot more players than the last event Commodities both ways worked really well..... We need more trade events like this one If there are more to come that’s great And hopefully it will keep the player numbers up This event proved how much people actually love this server and love disco itself Many thanks you lot I did my last run tonight Hoping for more events like it Well done guys RE: Trade Event: Winter Has Come - Reno - 02-13-2019 (02-12-2019, 11:43 PM)FREEPORT 12 COO Wrote: I must say ...... great event I agree with your comment completely. Darn, I need more money, and you're making reasonable credits per second :c RE: Trade Event: Winter Has Come - Lythrilux - 02-13-2019 The best, highest activity generating events are the ones with crazy profit/sec. What we really need is a good balance between things people can spend ludicrous amounts of money on (moneysinks in essence) and these kinds of temporary event routes. It's so routine to hoard lots of credits and never find anything to splurge them on. RE: Trade Event: Winter Has Come - NonSequitor - 02-13-2019 The event was the first one that I've ever participated in. Kudos to the devs, GMs and all the players involved. I, like at least half of the server, made silly amounts of virtual cash. I'm not worried about money sinks per se, I'm worried about the potential for inflation. Hopefully, the inflow of money will encourage experimentation and new RP -driven projects. |
