Ehh, I'd take turrets over the CD any day. The armour and CMs imply the ship is about not dying, rather than killing. Turrets are neutral in this regard; CDs go the other way.

Remember, that the very wealthy often have many enemies. Nobody gets rich by making friends. The yacht should reflect that fact.
That's why it has high armor, high speed and dual cms.
The ships are not meant to fight many enemies, it simply is a status symbol and nothing else and RP ship. Seeing any of those alone outside safe areas should be extremely rare.
