CBalls are fine. Hell, my gunso, CDed ships can dodge them most of the time, and CD them the rest of the time. Seriously, they are fine. I was dodging 10 Order/Corsair fighters, only one of them with a pure guns loadout *cough*Zach*cough*, and I got gunned down in the end.

Did acceleration by any chance get changed?
Because in 4.84, they were much easier to dodge. I don't think I just happened to start sucking all of a sudden when the mod was released...

Acceleration did not get changed, as far as I remember, but however, they do have a delay before the engine motor and their speed kicks in, like Nova Torps, but less noticeable.
