(06-05-2024, 05:28 PM)Mr. Lime Wrote: I’d ask that House Intelligence have the rephack towards pirates reverted. Generic “pirates” are an excellent layer of deniability towards sketchy black ops. As the IDs are already quasi-lawful anyway, it stands to reason that a BIS agent would want to be sneaky and meet on somewhere like Ithaca, or a LSF agent fit in with a crowd of criminals. I say this as someone who had a Pirate IFF’d LSF Ahoudori.

I understand your reasoning, but having LSF/BIS/KOI/MND/GNI ships not get shot on sight by Ithaca's defense sounds incredibly unrealistic. If you want to be incognito, you don't fly those IDs in first place.

Barrier Gate and the other freeports are your alternative meeting spots, but having overt agents approach a pirate fortress is nonsense. That's like arguing that spooks can happily land on Buffalo, Mactan, Crete, Vogtland and what not.

^ It is unlikely, but I think the intel IDs are the only ones who could reasonably pull it off. I mean, what's wrong with someone RPing an infiltration into a pirate clan to shoot / assasinate some bad guy AND then actually doing it in-game ?

Then do it on a pirate ID? Why is the LSF guy fully infiltrated into pirates but still gets friendly pings from any police patrol?

Changes and fixes for next server restart:

- Recruit ID now has a fixed 0.0 rephack on Pirates, Nomads, Vagrants, and Wild. This is to prevent them from gaining the global -0.9 to those IFFs and potentially causing issues.
- Cleaned up the Rheinland Lawful enforce laws discrepancies: all Rheinland Lawfuls' IDs now read: Can enforce laws in Rheinland, Sigma-15, and Cologne.
- Gallic Lawful IDs now read: Can enforce laws in Gallia and Zurich.
- Daumann and {DHC} regain the line: Can attack Red Hessians.
- IMG| regains the following line under 'Within Zone of Influence': Can enforce laws outside Bretonia.
- Gaians gain ZOI in Omega-7.
- Fixed Congress ID mentioning .:j:.Prussia rather than .:j:.Prague. Whoops.
- Fixed K'Hara ID having no rephacks.

Continued tweaks, fixes, and alterations will be made as discussions and observations continue. Pardon our dust.

Hey, this got forgotten in our request to get the rep fixed so I thought it'd be easier to bring it up here.

The Technocracy of Auxo lost its piracy lines in its primary ZoI, which existed to enforce the laws we have in the region (Inverness, Kansas, Cortez, Magellan, Vespucci) and in particular: protect the super-restricted base that we primarily operate on.

Given we're an Intel faction who value our territory and privacy, we'd like to ask and see about getting the ability to Enforce Laws within Inverness and the adjacent Independent worlds.
