Second: people here claim that this run can be doable in 20 minutes, while the flight from POB to the field and back takes half of that. And no amount of strafing gets you through the field this fast, especially if the next ore asteroid is 2k away. And third: BMM indie of BMF wouldn't be allowed to dock at Connacht, would it? Less than 10 min? Never, even with perfect strafing. After a few seconds the thruster is empty, so no more strafing. As I said, video or it didn't happen. RE: The Scaglainne Oir Situation was it crazy? - Czechmate - 08-22-2024 Supplying a PoB = Credit/hr you'd make power trading in opportunity cost + the actual cost. Not sure where this "it's cheap" comes from RE: The Scaglainne Oir Situation was it crazy? - James Greed - 08-22-2024 (08-21-2024, 10:08 PM)Nodoka Hanamura Wrote: Oh, and before Greed gets to it: My lawyers will be in touch, especially for not centering the video. This is time you could spend making money by mining or trading, and then some Dev spreads the supplies for POBs far and in-between and raises prices for said supplies by 2000-4000%... And if you complain someone from the crowd will suggest that you spend even more time by mining water. RE: The Scaglainne Oir Situation was it crazy? - Haste - 08-22-2024 We have significantly more PoBs on the server than players the vast majority of the time these days. Most of these PoBs barely even fulfil a function, seemingly just lying dormant and being kept on life support for eleven and a half months a year. If PoBs were so cripplingly expensive to maintain - they're not if you actually use them - why would people bother keeping them alive for so long while using them so little? RE: The Scaglainne Oir Situation was it crazy? - Amba - 08-22-2024 I'm keeping 2 pobs on life support, 1 waiting for the Longhorn and for the need to make JDs/cloaks and another waiting for the willpower to do Earhart stuff. Both are braindead easy and cheap to maintain. If keeping a pob up is in any way a burden for you you might just be bad at pob management or not have the time or energy to do it. Hell you can make it pay for itself in most places with just a hydroponics module RE: The Scaglainne Oir Situation was it crazy? - Busy Miner - 08-22-2024 (08-22-2024, 02:34 PM)Haste Wrote: We have significantly more PoBs on the server than players the vast majority of the time these days. I don't use my toilet, which was not cheap, like 99,5% of the day. My car about the same. POBs are basically the only place where you can store or swap between your characters or produce things, so.... Just sitting around running on water and fertilizer and alloy won't help. |
