It wouldn't fit Order to steal it since we are building another RP at the moment as you know and it would conflict with that idea. It fits to Liberty. Liberty was at war / is at war at the moment which is a good ground to develop battle techs.
Considering 90% of the weapons industry is of WWII's tech, it is quite easy and fitting to explain a new advanced ship tech.

And what would the point be with replacing it ? Spyglass is now SRP only, and SRP can only be submitted via faction leaders ... I don't really think too many Spyglasses remain, or if they do, the last spyglass I saw in game way Jarek's back a while ago ...
So it would be rather useless to replace .. plus, I would imagine something different for the Spyglass ... actually the current model is nice, even if it's an import ...

It's rather lolwutty and retarded to take the Belisarius to New York. Not to mention it only stays in Magellan and Kansas. Only lolwut capships and a few lolminers see it, really.

Well, then it's almost like it's not being used ... since if it sits around in Kansas , I can imagine how much RP it does ...
