I think you posted your answer without paying attention in page 1. If you didnt see it, it was updated. You can check that from all the points and titles. The fighter remains as "heavy fighter", the stats are "paladin's stats" and everything else inside the ship is same except the name and the model.

At least its good that people voted with "No" are peolpe that hate bretonia ship line, hate bretonia or just dont want bretonia to have its rightful ship.

Neither I or anyone from the team calls you or others, haters to bretonia but since 90% of the bretonia players, in this number even members from trading companies inside bretonia, want the ship to be changed, that is good enough for us.
Everyone else that dont like the ship, its fine, but the thread and the voting was about if it fits in the ship line or not. Ebon said No because he hate all bretonia ships but that is different. We asked all of you do you like the model if its inside bretonia ship line or it looks like a spike in the eye (like the current paladin).
-If someone says No, we would like to know why so we can change and upgrade the model to complete it.
-If someone says Yes, we will know its fine and dont needs changes.
That was the meaning. Right now we were asking ourselves what needs to be changed and why more people dislike it. We need the answers to complete the model.

I have one request before considering this. Can someone put the Paladin and Dragoon in a side by side comparison for the front, top and side profile (as done in the starting topic for the other fighters)? The size of the model is a major factor in determining it's stats, and rebalancing it. Considering you seem to be adding weapons, maneuverability is likely to be taking a hit. More guns - more firepower - less moving about.

I will inform Jam tomorrow about this so we will provide you with that screen soon.
I dont know how the team balanced the current Paladin but everyone that ever used it said it was broken and too big for its current stats. That is why we made a model suitable for same stats without changing its agility. Ofcourse its up to dev team to decide that but our last desire was Dragoon to stay as HF with nothing new added, just a pure model replacement.
We have voted for at least 400 more armor increased next to its current 8600 because that is too low for a bretonian ship line. We dont think these 400 bonus armor (with UA8 = +1000) are much of a challenge to anyone but its again up to the dev team.
We're gona provide a new information text for the model too.

Fits nicely with the ship line. Has the Bretonian-ny look. Especially with the "shell" like piece of metal propping up the wings. A good model that would be a fitting replacement for the Paladin.
I feel the Paladin doesn't exactly have the Bretonian look, I find the two large wings on the side are not exactly Bretonian-ny. Sure, it has the paint job and the rounded cockpit but the wings make it look out of place.
I vote yes. Dragoon looks nicer.

Definite yes from me. Not only does it look nice. It fits in with the current ship line more than the Paladin does and will presumably not have the hitbox problems the Paladin has.
If this gets added, then I'm buying it straight away for my BAF character.

I think this new model is a vast improvement over the old one and would heartily applaud its replacement.
I do, however, think that there's a measure of wisdom in considering retaining the current model and employing it in some matter of auxiliary capacity. It's a working ship, even if it's a nightmare to fly, that some might find rather nice to have about in some sort of civilian capacity. Either with its current skin or with something a tad more ragamuffin to suggest that it is, in point of fact, an older ship which some daredevil smuggler picked up from a salvage lot to run escort with.
Just a notion.
Exceptional work on the new model. Bretonian shapes seem problematic as all heck to get right.

The two wings are taken from the original Crusader/Templar models so that means they fit in the ship line. We have modified them to look different from the templar's wings so they are not a direct copy.
Point IV, in page 1, have been updated with 3 images that were requested: Front/Top/Side view comparison between the Paladin and the Dragoon.
