Since I like this shape and all I can volunteer to texture it (using original textures to make it vanilla looks), proper UV mapping and some nice material composition tricks, as well as correct surface smoothing, HP mounting and... custom hitbox. :-) But also it needs a bit of polishing, e.g. proper cockpit on the model, turret holders, smaller details, etc...

perhaps slightly slimmer, and the main body larger (room to mount turrets, they are big ugly things)

this is a very nice model. - but i agree that it does look small, - like a SHF. ( actually, since the central body look just like a sabre, it doesn t feel much bigger than a fighter - more massive though )
why should it be bigger alltogether? - for the looks - most of all. this model looks good. but it has no turrets there right now. - imagine it to be the size of the BHG gunship - and think of the "huge" turrets. only solaris and nomad turrets look OK on the BHG gunship. - bretonian or other turrets are too big and look stupid on the otherwise cute model.
now if that GB was small and agile. - it would suffer the same problem. - it would look like some pockmarked abomination. - if it was the same size as the orca, i agree, the bulging back of the dromedary would fit a little bit better. ( since the center section is the same as the side ones - just with an added bridge )
anyway, it looks much nicer than the old one in terms of a harmonious design. - mind, the old one fit better to your dreadnaught. - so, this one is more BW design, while the battleship is more a unique outcast design that is loosely based on the BW design.

Yeah, she needs gun studs, and I'm working on that right now, but they're a bit of a pain to do in 3ds...what do you mean by 'Proper' cockpit, Yuri? I think it looks pretty much like the one used on the Saber, only elongated. :shrugs: As for smaller details I'm trying to figure out what, exactly, to do to spice it up, but I don't think there's much. I mean, it's a Borderworlds-based gunboat. Stark efficiency is the name of the game.
Either way, I'll hopefully be sending a copy of it your way sometime soon. I want to fly dis baby :drools:
