I use another strategy.

Take the sirius credit chips and drop them off in the middle of space, switch chars and pick them up w/ your other char.

Make sure your characters are well placed though. :P You don't want them to be left behind in space like all of those pilots that are being left behind.

I swear, with all of the pilots left behind, we need like a rescue or medical ship or something to save their souls. :)

I tried that. Placed a char at a set spot. Sent 2nd char to the same spot with 4 $10,000,000 credit cards. Ejected the cargo and logged off and switched characters and *POOF* no credit cards. I think they dissappear when your character logs off/switch char.

BabyDoc- Large Train
Poseidon- Rheinland Cruiser
Shadowen- Rheinland Cruiser
DragonKnight- Kusari Criser
CruiserDoc- Huegenot Cruiser

Did I ever say before.....I love cruisers!

Well if you are trying to put the cash onto a new char in a starflyer then it will have a rubish little scaner so you would more or less need to sit on your other char to make it work.

But I don't trust it anyway alot easier to just get a transfer from somone.

The Credit card idea does work, because discovery is a 24/7 server so even when your not on it's still going.

Just keep this in mind when performing this.
- First go to a place where there is little to no traffic cause NPC (Computer COntrolled) Players can suck up your goods too.

- Get your characters within 100m of each other. (this is veryimportant, if they are too far apart then the creds could end up anywhere.) Also if you are using a lager ship like a battleship or a transport like I am then you get the smaller ship as close as possible to the larger one. Just do the best that you can id doesn't need to be perfect.

- After both players are in possition then goto the character with the credits, change to your lot view on your scanner and eject the creds. (Remember that before you can change characters you must first see the creds ejected on screen or on the radar.)

- Once they are available to tractor back in switch to your other character real quick and tractor the credits in and sell them.

This seems like allot and like it would be difficault but its real simple. I advise that you try it with a 10,000K credit card first a couple of times. Just get two and eject one at a time. Once you have done it a couple of times it will be real easy. It is still better to give them to someone you trust and have them give them back. But I have used this meathod at least 10 times the last week and only lost a mil cause I got careless and didnt wait long enouph. But U have no problems now with it at all.

Hope this helps you :)

Just because it is a 24/7 server doesn't change anything. It still works alot like singleplayer. So new NPCs are always appearing, otherwise we'd run out. NPCs appear and disappear all the time. Same thing happens to commodities sitting in space. If you destroy a NPC train and jump to another system and come back. Unless there was another player sitting there, those commodities would be gone. This is what happens when the credit card trick "fails." Its not foolproof. Its more prone to error than success.
