Roster Updated...

FWIW, I agree that KNF/KSP should be neutral-to-friendly to GMG.
KNF has ties to Kishiro as well as Samura now, and Samura does not run Kusari, they just have way too much influence with the government.

And in my opinion, if there is a conflict between GMG and Hogosha/AFA in Kusari space, Kusari officials will happily blast the aggressor for breaking the peace. Of course, if there are none around...

Yep as Wrathkin said..

I'd say KNF should be friendly with GMG..

none of GMG, AFA, Hogosha will openly attack the other one with KNF around...
I would actually say that none of them will attack the other one in Kusari at all...maybe some small raids in Sigma or in the Independent worlds.

Quote:i am sure that kusari police and kusari navy can not be neutral. you have hogosha as hostile, and samura and FA as unfriendly. and i am sure, that kusari military will not stay neutral to faction that is hostile to their supporters..

Well that unfriendly status is due to commercial rivalry, which does not result in open combat. Hogosha and GMG may be at a hostile status, but once again Hogosha does not act openly, they use Corsairs and their devious tactics against GMG. So I guess in the end no one ends up shooting anybody.

My point is not that you should not use the stinger, it is a GMG ship and it should be what you fly. My point is that it's the same thing with the military vehicles. Both are sold where they shouldn't be, but it's ok to use the stinger while not to purchase military vehicles. Alittle consistancey in getting up on your high horse is all I ask. So by your logic, if Samura decided to put a tax on purchase of the stinger, say 3 million credits to the player faction for purchasing them, you would have no problem with it?

About the Blood Dragons, I may have stubbled over my self with this one, and not made it clear, it was more of a "why would GMG be neutral with FA, when they pay people to try and destroy them?" But it's a moot point anyway since the diplomacy has been changed. Thanks.

Btw, just thought I would mention this, although you'll need to clear it with the leader of the Rheinland Military anyway.

GMG are supposed to also have several operational Rheinland Battleships in their order of battle, though one was destroyed in an incursion into Omicron 85. At least two remain operational though, so you might want them as special one-off units that the GMG is allowed, as spoils of war, which you won. Entirely up to you of course, but good RP nonetheless (and rubbing the RM's nose in your victory over them every time they see them XD).

Yea, Namura wreckage is out there ran into it in fact. Having a Rheinland battleship as spoils of war isn't in the best interest of future diplomacy from hostile to unfriendly or nuetral. I agree it would be an interesting roleplay.

Edited: Interesting rumor says that the GMG has transfered their Gas to the Samura station Osaka in Honshu since anyone can remember. Another states the long time goal of the GMG is to return to its old way of life on an ocean planet full of fish.

Recruiting Process Updated....

Gas Miners Guild(GMG) - Dab - 05-14-2008

If/Once GMG gets big enough to need/want a BS as a flagship, they could use an RM BS then, due to those rumors. It would be more in-RP than a Zoner Juggernaut that the Zoners probably keep to themselves only. And the RM BS also fits better than the Battlestars.

If not an RM BS, than a Kusari BS would be 2nd best.

Gas Miners Guild(GMG) - Eppy - 05-14-2008

If they really wanted to they could use a Rheinland Battleship. In Omicron 85 there's the wreck of one of those babies called t Namura that the GMG took during the war and lost when they poked too far into Outcast space. I think that constitutes enough to validate the purchase of one.
