RE: Colonial Military Reporting Facility - Wraga - 02-09-2013 ![]() Good day, Warrant Officer Blasius reporting in from New Hope.
Today I had my formal patrol duty, when I got some incoming signals from miners in Tau 23 about a junker salvage freighter what hold cardamine onboard. Since I was in Tau 29, I could investigate this situation. A freighter with a full load of cardamine near Java base, isnt a thing what I could ignore. After my arrival the miners told me, that the junker ship left Tau 23 system and headed to Tau 37. I didnt really understand his movement, since it wasnt the same like their routine smuggler acts between the sniffers and rogues, so I jumped into Tau 37. After my arrival, I found the ship floating around the jump hole, so I ordered the captain to get rid off the cardamine. Since he refused my order, I smelt some danger in the space. He told me something about a possible contract between him and unknown partners as a cause to keep that cardamine. I couldnt get more informations about those unknown partners, but it looks like there could be a possible threat in the near future about growing cardamine smuggling in the area. Since he tricked us and escaped from the investigation, sadly I cant show his death here, but I gained some usefull informations. Here is the visual database: ![]() Quote:CR|-WO:Blasius: Mind to stop your ship for a fast scan pilot? Thats all what I could keep about this meeting. I hope it could help us in the future.
Blasius out. Good luck! Colonial Military Reporting Facility - C.I.S. Intel - Johnathan Nox Carter - 02-16-2013 C.I.S. Intelligence Report
Conclusion of the "Fallen Grace" Operation Personal notes of C.I.S. Director Aidan White: *With a calm voice.* "Fallen Grace", indeed graceful, i will admit. It was, in the end, a bridge that we boldly accepted to jump over. As some of you may know, our forces along with those of the ONI Loyalists and the Order agents tried (and almost succeeded) into overthrowing the Gallic Monarchy. We sent a number of agents from the 17th as well as a team of marines (along with the usual spaceship crew) for this. Obviously, some of our ships also held the line in the firefight in space, side by side with the allied vessels. In the end we had to retreat, yet this was a hard blow into the Gallic Forces and it will most surely help us in the long run. Not to mention that since this incident, the Tau-44 System is under the control of Gauls sympathetic to the Republic. I find it almost funny that Belka isn't here to see this. Anyhow, I'll relay the following transmission from agent Sentry. I assume he would explain the details better, as he was witness to the operation. :::Transmission Copy Linked::: ![]() Well, no place like home. Thank the ancestors Fallen Grace is over. *He sighs.*
Our main goal was clear. Since the Gallic King as well as many members of the Royal Navy had been infected by nomads, they all had to be terminated.
We started the operation with ease. With help from the Corse and Lelouch D'Aramis' forces which came with the Eglantine, we, and the Order fighter wings, arrived in Ile-de-France safely. After the whole chaos commenced, some of our Agents as well as the Order fellows began to fend off the Gallic fightercraft. On the other end, I was onboard the Sharkteeth which brought us to the Chant du Cygne. We boarded the Flagship and held the bridge in order for the Loyalists to disable the vessel, but it all went faster than we expected. The Order also came on the Cygne to collect some data. We managed to achieve our first objectives and we also damaged the infrastructure of New Paris, but the Gallic reinforcements forced us to abort. We've lost Prudence, Daring, Betterment, 4 more other agents and a couple of marines, while the Sharkteeth and the Phoenix have been damaged but the Sovereign managed to save them. Luckily, Raven, though injured, made it out and met with D'Aramis again. I assume she'll be back soon. Sage came with Rubicon, while I accompanied the marines aboard the Phoenix. *A slight smile takes shape but fades quickly.* Either way, most of us got out, and those who didn't will mostly be resting in peace, knowing that we took down a large number of infectees and made a hole in the Royal Navy's forces. Commander Anders was right i assume. Roger Anders Wrote:Admiral, I'm sure you'll be getting the Fleet into a tight spot at some point in this operation. Perhaps a look back to the tactics the Crayter Military came up with could be of use. Our Kronos hulls can stand quite some heat these days... Show them what it means to be a Colonial, and why they should never have crossed us. Even though not a complete victory, let's hope it will be the start for one. So say we all! *He leans his head, looking downward.* Sentry, signing off. RE: Colonial Military Reporting Facility - Johnathan Nox Carter - 02-17-2013 ![]()
Greetings, fellow Colonials. Flight Officer S. Johnsons reporting in.
Well... it seems a few more commotions began yesterday. I started a patrol with Flight Officer Costanza around Tau-39 and then proceeded to Tau-23. All seemed quiet until we found a Gallic Vessel filled with Basic Alloy, apparently heading towards the Orkney Jumphole. After a rather redundant inquiry, the captain of the ship admitted to be transporting those to Gallia, and when we asked him to drop the cargo he denied, trying to flee towards Java Station. Luckily, we responded with haste and the ship was torn apart by my SNAC, while it's cargo was given to the IMG for a better use. On a side note, i've heard that my wife, Anna, received a distress call from the BAF earlier the same day. Apparently some Valors along with pirates tagged "Fury" were assaulting Leeds. She responded and they managed to finish off one of them, before she and the BAF were outnumbered and forced to retreat. Safe flight, lads! Johnsons, out. RE: Colonial Military Reporting Facility - Zephyranthes - 02-18-2013 This is Warrant Officer Alejandro C. Garcia, with an unnerving report. As is already known, I was inducted into the Colonial Military a couple days ago. A couple days prior to this, when I had purchased a Nyx preemptively, I met a freelancer named "Anna.McCarthy" out in Tau-23. She often solicited near Java Station, along with an AI Drone with the IFF "Unknown.Contact". The drone did not tell me what its purpose for being in the area was, presumably due to classified reasons, although I was able to determine it was for research purposes. Over the next few days, I questioned Ms. McCarthy on various subjects, including that of the Nomads, whom she had startling knowledge about. She informed me of two warring sides in the Nomad species, one known as "Aurora", with the other side known as "K'Hara". I questioned the validity of such erroneous claims, up until about two or three days ago. This small Nomad appeared in Tau-23 airspace, dangerously close to Java Station. I was prepared to open fire on it, and was about to do so, until Ms. McCarthy urged me not to, saying this was one of the so-called "friendly" Nomads she was talking about. Not wishing to be shot down by a Nomad (again), I stayed my hand, and began to communicate with it. Over the course of the weekend, I learned more about the way the Nomad species functioned, and their current state of affairs. The small Nomad(Which called itself Ezuky) confirmed what Ms. McCarthy had said about two warring factions within the Nomads. Information was also gathered regarding the physiology and purpose of Ezuky, who is described as a Nomad "Morph". These Morphs are infant Nomads, who have yet to be fully connected to what they call a Mindshare, a hive mind of sorts. As such, one could say they have personalities, similar to that of a human child. It is an impressionable being, with experiences shaping whether it will take an aggressive or peaceful stance towards humans. Ms. McCarthy and I hid Ezuky for quite some time from any who would harm him, and continued to question him regarding the Nomads. Today, a Nomad cruiser-type vessel, which identified itself as "Kingdom", appeared approximately fifteen kilometers above Java Station, meeting with Ezuky and another Nomad Morph. Many ships stopped their duties, including Warrant Officer Bebop and Flight Officer Sophius Johnsons, to observe this event. It appeared the larger Nomad vessel was communicating with the two Morphs, seeing if their view on humans were peaceful. They both confirmed this, and stated the K'Hara were "bad." The current Colonial forces in the system would have stayed for longer to observe, but due to the destruction of my Nyx from a reactor failure, I was forced to ride in Flight Officer Johnsons' Pythos back to the Carrier Hades in Tau-39. Upon returning in a replacement Nyx, the Nomads were gone, and I was unable to obtain more information. On a personal note, I believe that while the Nomads are still to be treated with extreme caution, this new knowledge, provided it is investigated further, may prove useful to us. If indeed the Nomads are experiencing division, with one side trying to avoid our extinction, we could eliminate the threat of this so-called K'Hara with their aid. This is Warrant Officer Alejandro C. Garcia, signing off. RE: Colonial Military Reporting Facility - Johnathan Nox Carter - 02-22-2013 ![]()
Greetings, Colonials. Flight Officer S. Johnsons reporting in from Hades.
This has been a very interesting day, i must say. I commenced on a patrol earlier today, just to meet with F.O. Costanza. Yet we couldn't enjoy the silence of space too much, since it seemed an Order agent appeared, with what oddly seemed to be a BHG pilot, and were working together into taking out some nomads. We quickly responded at the Order agent's call and Hotdog quickly finished one of the lesser nomads, while the other one vanished. Later today we were called into another fight with the cardamine users. Apparently, they started harassing the IMG again, so the Colonials quickly responded. After i joined the fight, it seemed that it was me, W.O. Garcia, Susan and Brenden from the 49th, as well as a member of the 17th, fighting along the IMG defense squadron against the XTF and a mercenary. It quickly turned into a slaughter and we did lose a good number of ships, but luckily nobody was badly injured and considering the fight took place in Tau-39 mostly, they were easily picked up by Hades. I made one hard hit myself, while we were later joined by the Reavers and Lost Stars which helped us end the battle. Uplink -final kill counts after the encounter: #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6 #7 I also see that Garcia has mentioned about the latest AI and nomad activities. It's a peculiar matter but i'm certain the Senior Officers will be looking into it if needed. That's all for now. Johnsons, over. RE: Colonial Military Reporting Facility - SummerMcLovin - 02-22-2013 ![]() Getting in touch from Barrier Gate here,
This report is a little late, Reason being I wasn't that bothered. However, I have three kills to chalk up, if you'd be so kind.
Some idiot in a Spatial called black.pearl decided to unload a barrage of missiles on me, took me about 30 seconds before I tore him apart with anti-matter in return. While chasing one of those big alien buggers I ended up setting about an Outcast instead. Even with full armour, he wouldn't have taken another SNAC hit. Third one was a bit bigger, and I had a hand from a rookie Nyx pilot. A Storta, called Wolfie-Wolf had wedged himself into Barrier Gate Station (guess it's not just Cali that they ram the docking bays), so I chased him out with a Screamer barrage. After he woke up, we took it out for coming so close to my bar! Frost out. Callsign - Reason ![]() Susan reporting in,
Just a short one from the Hades after I was picked up. In a rather larger-scale-than-usual battle for the XTF, we were graced with the presence of SU27. Even with his upgraded armour and endless jousting attempts with me, our numbers and my tailing of him soon ripped the fins off of this little shark. I hear we got rid of the rest of the Outcasts without revealing the Hades, at least I'd hope so...
Signing off, Susan Anders Callsign - Erudition ![]() Anders, reporting in from the Athena,
As I was setting off to Ravenhurst to converse with the TAZ and Council, particularly to discuss Fallen Grace's fallout with the latter, a call of... well-equipped pirates came in. Diverting back, it was the "Void Pirates" or whatever they call themselves, along with their trademark hidden repair factory. After scaring off the Lost gunboat, another bomber came to back up the other one. Following my calls, and with some well-timed manoeuvres from our splendid crew, the gunners were able to take out both the Mamoru and Orchid in quick succession. No sign of the other members of this group were found.
Rather than let the Rogues or Hellfire Legion do all the work against these endless Maltese Ranseurs, in particular, one Dread-Siren. One of our secondary pilots, Mr. Dice, and Flight Officer Wilgrin's Pytho provided some fire support, and it was destroyed just outside Montezuma. So say we all. RE: Colonial Military Reporting Facility - Emeric Leon - 02-25-2013 <PATROL REPORT 001> <PILOT ID: Warrant Officer E. Leon; New Hope Rearguard, Planet Pecos> <TRANSMISSION SOURCE: Carrier Hades, System Tau039> ![]() WO Leon, with a condensed operations report concerning several actions over the past two days in Tau023. First, an encounter with IMG pilot Anna McCarthy, who is previously mentioned in one of WO Garcia's reports. Attached is a log containing the content of our conversation. Of particular note is potential intel concerning 'Tundra', apparently some sort of Wilde bioweapon or bioship. The section of the conversation on this subject is bracketed with a red bar for easy viewing. Some time afterwards I intercepted and chased a slave transport for the Maltese to its destruction in system Tau037. A record of the destruction I have included, but the guncam record of its transponder appears lost. Second patrol in system Tau023 was uneventful, save the interception and destruction of a Maltese Storta destroyer; IFF, visual identification, and death recordings posted here. 'Stars' vessel Corrupted Flame and Anna McCarthy deserve special mention for assisting me during the battle. A second ship, a Maltese Ranseur dreadnaught, happened upon us or more likely was called in to assist, but when the Storta was destroyed it beat a hasty retreat to the Alpha jump hole. We were unable to destroy it before it could jump, and I elected not to pursue it into a possible trap. It is noteworthy that both vessels' IFF includes the tag OCR|, indicating a possible new Maltese capital wing in the Taus. Finally, a second Ranseur also made the jump to Tau037 past Java, but made no attempt to engage; without any sort of backup I elected not to attempt pursuit beyond Tau023. RTBed to Carrier Hades soon after, as the system and surrounding were completely devoid of traffic. End of report. Warrant Officer Harris here. I was contacted by another WO, while orbiting Pecos, the signal was a distress one. I had the coordinates and charged my cruise engines.
![]() I reached WO Schwarz quickly and noticed a vessel bearing the tag CGS. While being in a coma for a while, I might have missed a few groups, but I certainly knew this one was hostile - I had barely got out of cruise when the said vessel, being a Roc Bomber, indicating a pirate, discharged its weapons on my ship. ![]() A short battle followed, the bomber stood no chance, but was clever enough to set course to Barrier Gate Station. We managed to damage it almost beyond repair, but the vessel somehow succeeded in crash landing in a hangar bay. ![]() That would be it for now. Warrant Officer Harris, signing out. .::Transmission ends::.
RE: Colonial Military Reporting Facility - Emeric Leon - 02-26-2013 <PATROL REPORT 002> <PILOT ID: Warrant Officer E. Leon; New Hope Rearguard, Planet Pecos> <TRANSMISSION SOURCE: New Hope West, System Coronado> ![]() WO Leon, with another action report concerning escort of the CR transport Taxidiotis from Java Station, Tau023 to New Berlin via Bretonia. We were accompanied by another Colonial, WO Victus, during this escort mission. When we reached the New London jump gate in Leeds, Officer Victus went through the gate first, and was promptly destroyed by an unknown and quite hostile alien contact, callsign Taranis, which was impeding traffic between systems on the New London side. Bretonia Police Authority officer T. Page engaged it between Victus' destruction and my jumping through to attempt to drive it away, and after a single pass the hostile dived through the gate to Leeds, which we had just come from. Fortunately, Miss Elaine jumped to New London as soon as it appeared, and the BPA officer and I took it down with further assistance from a BHG-registered Bretonian gunship Crusader. Guncams of the ship, its ID, and its destruction are attached below. As to the rest of the run - it is noteworthy that I did not actually enter Rheinland with our transport, electing instead to stay behind over Freistadt Base in order to avoid issues with the police and military there. However, despite the lack of cover, transported goods arrived safely at New Berlin, and Miss Elaine returned with engine components for Kensington some time later. We dodged a pair of House Benitez Corsairs and proceeded with no further incident out of Bretonia. We met up with Victus and his new Nyx in Baffin, as well as witnessed the TAZ super-transport Barrel Roll, then proceeded on to terminate the run at New Hope West. End of report. <ADDENDUM>
<TRANSMISSION SOURCE: Carrier Hades, System Tau039> Events from later in the day, evening, and early hours. During a standard CA/anti-smuggling patrol in Tau023, I encountered a member of what records indicate was the Rheinland intelligence service. The pilot was ostensibly on mission to update stellar cartography in the region, both physical and political. We discussed the state of Tau023, the Maltese, and other, less portentous subjects, after which the pilot departed. Before he left, he implied that the Rheinlanders may attempt diplomatic contact with the Republic in the near future. Later on I joined up with |* pilot Fenrir above Java. Over the course of the patrol we successfully stopped and destroyed two freighters, both carrying slaves bound for Planet Malta. The first feigned surrender, then dropped his entire bay and destroyed the people within in immediately afterwards. Engagement was immediate following this act, and when he attempted to surrender for real this time, I blew his ship apart. ID, ship type, and destruction logs recorded in attachments at the end of this addendum. The second transport, a Border World Series DL, nearly made it to Malta before we caught up to it, finally destroying the freighter seconds before it could dock in high Malta orbit. Fenrir RTBed to Tau037 and a prison liner they have moored at Freeport 10 in order to retrieve some 2678 slaves from right in front of the Maltese homeworld. We successfully exfiltrated and returned all 2748 would-be slaves to safety on Falkland Base. Guncam images of this destruction, as well as footage of Malta, Valetta Shipyard, and the slaves in orbit are attached below. Finally, we encountered a member of Das Wilde in Tau023 who seemed to be ready to attack a pair of miners. This creature attempted to convince us that it was a member of the Bretonian Police Authority, but a quick scan revealed Nomad technology all over his ship. Pilot Fenrir dealt with this alien in a duel in front of the Tau031 gate, with no need for interference from me. Guncams of that destruction, and his technology, are included as well for record-keeping purposes. The miners were unharmed, and shortly thereafter I RTBed Carrier Hades to complete the patrol. End of addendum. |
