And i dont know why a few people hate on the DL.
I think it looks good in a utilitarian way.

Couldn't read all comments, but I'd like to request the following changes, from the topic start model images:
- Remove the radar dish and replace it with a small antenna on that mount (about 1/3rd the height of what that dish is now). It would make a nice point for a running light hardpoint.
- Remove the entire cargo section, and replace it with a vertical mount bracket where 8 vanilla-ish cargo pods can be mounted to (like the Stork can mount those), IE 8 cargo pods in a 4 by 4 grid, on each side. I realise this may cause some fire to end up hitting the cargo pods, but that's not a problem considering the low amount of hull those have. One nova torpedo to the tail and all those pods are gone...
Then toss it my way for integration. I'm thinking 9 guns, ~3200ish cargo and sized accordingly wouldn't be bad.

pods are RP 500 units each, so 8 of them is 4k. you want 6

the firefly is a rather smallish transport - mainly by size. - this model does not suit that role as it is at the very least the size of a train ( the smallest one )
the idea of replacing the x-shuttle doesn t work either, cause the x shuttle is a lot more a freighter/SHF thingy.
with that in mind - there is no room for a ship like that - the project was not submitted, cause a transport of that sort was not requested.
in other words - thanks for the feedback - but its not the time for such a ship in disco - the speculations can be ceased.

Meh.
Such ship is really needed. There is huge gap at the 3-3,5k transports available. You got also 5 pages feedback of the community that they would love to see such ship in-game. You also got the AD from the Mod side that also approve with small changes. Firefly is ugly imported ship that also preforms terrible for its stats- it cries for replacement.
If you are lazy to do the changes requested by AD you should not come out with the excuse that this ship is not needed. I guess Teshy fellow is actually right about your ships and attitude-great concepts but noting sustainable. And finally if the ship was concept only and was not submitted why it is in ship submissions part of the forum?

Oh no, that's sad to hear. Really good model, it should to be implied in next mod. As for Firefly replacement, I think better to keep it and add this one as 3500 civilian made, for diversity of 3500 class transport,s there is so little of them. Firely need to reskin, some people enjoy to fly Firefly, so be it. Add this ship as new ship, not replacement.
Also I disagree on AD point, don't change model itself. I think changing that big pod into killable small pods will spoil this model. Also, as far I've remember devs decide don't use in new ships vanilla cargo pods, isn't it?

that was igiss edict once. - from long long ago... he did not like vanilla pods much.
anyway - some models simply don t make it. and its a good thing to reject them when they are simply redundant. had we applied that decision in the past, we d be left with less "strange" shiplines in the mod for factions that have no use / support for them regarding to their lore.
