Will Coalition fighter guns have reballance? Kalashnikovs too energy drainy for Insurgent powercore and Dragunovs just weak.
Also 3.03 and 5.88 is odd refire to use at same time. Corsairs have 4.0 Salamancas and 4.0 Tizonas which is quite logical. But Coalition and Council have that strange difference in refire of their own guns.

Kalash in 4.85 was balanced with the old Insurgie model and pcore in mind (And SCRA sure did have their share of fun flying Kalash Odins). Apparently the 4.86 Kalash keeping the old stats was an oversight, and now that neither the model nor the pcore is the same as before, it's adjusted with the new Coalition shipline in mind.

As for the refire difference, nothing's changed in that regards. SCRA won't be getting a 3.03 shieldbuster because that'd either have to be underpowered or would turn out to be too good in (mainly group) fights.

Yes, that means both Krakens and Buckshots are now 650ms. Wyrm is not a Particle, so it stays at 700ms.

Ok wow, thumbs down to the person who came up with this idea.

I hope you are aware that Wyrms/Krakens were one of the Outcast assets (being able to have advantages against 2 types of shields at the same time); and I do hope that you somehow compensate Outcasts balance-wise.

To whoever is doing this, pls stop fixing things that aren't broke.

Errh, I find it logical making neutron guns mid-speed btween plasma and laser. +\- 50 m/s won't affect the faction advantages much.

They are particle. And to me it does make a bit of a difference (in the case of Buckshots they are going to be 100 m/s slower). Too bad. Someone should revive Mandos so we can get non-Reaver hunters with fast guns.

Particles actually were broken. Especially the two you brought up. Both guns you mentioned made the other gun of their faction obsolete, as the other gun had no obvious advantage compared to these two, now things are a bit different and each gun has an advantage and a disadvantage, so people can actually pick depending on their flight style.

But as Swallow mentioned, 50ms lower speed isn't that big of a difference... The actual stats we gave them is. [Image: skype-bandit.gif]

That Wyrms weren't used much doesn't make Krakens broken (which received nerfs in 4.86 already); I think its a bad way of "fixing" things. But true we'll see how things will be when 4.87 is out.
