Good Evening,

Today marks the first flight of the BES-Penrose, a Shetland-class vessel fresh from Scarborough's facilities. Of course, the first act as her captain was to correctly register her papers as per company directive. Fully outfitted and prepared to begin work, my feet had barely touched the deck when a job offer found its way directly to my personal comms.

A pilot under contract from BMM, using the rather apt callsign Massive.Profits, offered me a simple contract to deliver, in conjunction with his own vessel, 40,000 units of Reinforced Alloy to the construction site Tower of London, situated near the Dublin jump-gate in New London. Appropriate papers and docking rights were granted to my vessel forthwith, allowing me to begin immediate haulage. A full twenty thousand units were delivered to the site in the Penrose, payment for which was provided by the dockmaster upon each delivery. Cargo manifests are listed below. Upon completion, communication from the contractor ceased for some time until I re-joined our fellow pilots several hours later.

Shipment One: 4920 Reinforced Alloy: Inbound - Delivered

Shipment Two: 4920 Reinforced Alloy: Inbound - Delivered

Shipment Three: 4920 Reinforced Alloy: Inbound - Delivered

Shipment Four: 4920 Reinforced Alloy: Inbound - Delivered

Shipment Five: 320 Reinforced Alloy: Inbound - Delivered

Delivery Total: 20,000 Reinforced Alloy.

A few hours rest on New London saw me back in the skies, this time alongside Bowex)T.E.Lawrence, continuing an extenuation of the previous contract. A full three shipments - to a total of 14,760 tonnes - of Industrial Hardware were subsequently delivered to the base of operations at Tower of London. I'd like to thank my fellow pilot for his welcome and friendly company throughout the evening.

Godspeed,

Good day,

The following report contains details of the previous evening's haulage and contracting. Hearing of a private project being carried out abroad the Bretonia Mining and Fabrication base Fortitudine, I offered my services as a stout employee of Bowex to assist with the mass-order of shipping. A private third party employed the company and myself to deliver some 112,000 odd tonnes of cargo to the processing and manufacturing modules abroad the Manchester-based station.

With the Penrose, I successfully delivered 44,280 units of Reinforced Alloys before my tachograph & routine maintenance checks forced me to moor for the night. Manifests of inbound cargo hauls are as follows: [1]:[2]:[3]:[4]:[5]:[6]:[7]:[8]:[9].

Total: 44,280 units, with no incidents reported. Sources inform me that the remainder of the goods were shipped by associates of the client and the contract was completed quickly.

In addition, the Penrose was on-scene and available as the BPA officer Waldorf Salad intercepted and apprehended a foolish freight pilot attempting to smuggle human cargo through the New London system. A quick preparation of bays and discussion led to the Penrose accepting five hundred and fifty rescued passengers, many with minor and superficial injuries from captivity, and delivering them safely to police custody on Planet New London. Having been shipped in cramped conditions, several required non-urgent medical attention, which was given by several crewmembers of the vessel who are trained and certified in delivering first-aid.

Godspeed,

  • BES Charles.Hitchen - Shire
  • BAF Capt.H.Pearson - Templar
  • PFI Aire - Clydesdale
  • PFI Loch.Naver - Clydesdale
  • PFI Tyrrhenian - Shetland

Convoy Information:
We took Gin from London to Cambridge, popped over to the research station to grab Medical Bands and proceeded to make our way to Leeds to supply our lads. The first run was pretty uneventful even if supremely daring and brave. The captain of the “Hitchen” seemed to have problems understanding his ship controls but we placed him on lookout duty in the smog cloud and offloaded the Medical Bands using special Clydesdale black-ops tactics. We took the excess Lanthanum from the boys, thanked each-other and made off to do a secondary run.

Convoy Incidents:
Some Alien Bastards

After the first run we were going to be joined by a BAF captain, but we noticed some red git on our scanners and decided to follow. After a bloody good chase and a few TCD shots that would make the best marksman in the Army blush, fired by yours truly, the ship came to a stop. The power readings were so massive off that ship that we could barely scan the sod. Turns out to have been carrying some bloody big alien power cell. We got into a bit of a scrap with that one but we were repeatedly told off by both the Captain and one of the Execs to stay out of it.

Peterson decided to get the bloody hell out, seeing as he is a bit of a pansy himself, but I decided to stay in case of trouble. Eventually the Captain who ordered us out got herself shot because she didn’t have a Clyde to protect her, the bastards got away and we were supposed to continue the convoy. Bah, that’s what happens to people who don’t trust Bombardiers.

Planetform Inc & More Alien Bastards

This is where that bloody cowa- Pardon, the good Flight Instructor will have to fill in for the rest of the convoy movements. I was a bit late to the convoy in Cambridge as I had run into some good lads and lasses of the Planetform Inc. They seemed eager to help in our next shipment to Leeds, unlike some of our colleagues. However we had a bit of a management kerfuffle and instead of bloody well waiting for me at Battleship Suffolk they decided to quickly nip off to Planet Harris.

You know who was there? The gits we were ordered to leave alone, they were doing some mind reading voodoo nonsense to one of the lasses who was flying an unarmoured Clyde for god knows what reason. The tense hostage negotiations, during which I bravely dared them to attack me, went on for some time and we were even assaulted by a Gallic Junker. In secret I made a deal with a nearby Freelancer and started planning.

At that point I had decided that enough was enough and lead a brave charge to rescue the poor lass. The odds were against us but I secured the initiative and huzzah, the Planetform convoy was rescued. I wasn’t though. Their bloody docking mechanism bricked and I had to eject.

On Harris I was treated properly, like a war hero that I am, and I made a swift recovery and was shuttled off to join the good cowar- Flight Instructor for another convoy to Rheinland.

Other Notes:
Now I’d like to call everybody’s attention to these bloody weirdos. I’ll upload some stuff my gun-cam caught but we should share these with the government forces. These sods are yet another threat to the crown and this doesn't seem to be the first sighting of the bastards. One of them was even flying a bloody Libertonian fighter.

The gits were:

D9|Schwarze.Adler - Sutinga

Topic: Convoy report and debrief for 22/03/22.

Convoy Participants:
  • BES Leeson - Andrew Peterson.
  • BES Sheridan - Aaron Clarke.
  • BES Charles.Hitchen - George Grenville.
  • BAF Capt.H.Pearson - Captain Heather Pearson

Convoy Information:
Righto, Mr Clarke has covered most of the salient facts for Sunday's initial runs, so I'll pick up where he left off (after abandoning his co-workers and Leeds to go haring off after some women in Planetform). The remaining members of the convoy who were still actually doing their job consisted of myself, Mr Grenville and Captain Pearson.

As before, the Charles Hitchens popped over to the CRI to pick up some Medistasis Bands, while I returned to the Suffolk to collect the remaining troops of the 104th New London Fusiliers regiment. From there, myself and the Captain proceeded to Southampton to await the other two. Of course, Clarke can apparently sniff out estrogen through the void of space, and was busy shirking his duties elsewhere.

In any case, we all proceeded to Planet Leeds, where the orbital space was clear. With the Captain on lookout and the Hitchens stowed away in a nearby smog cloud, the operation begun. With the Fusiliers on the ground and helping to unload further supplies as I landed them, we cleared about half of the Hitchens' hold, while filling her up with Lanthanum. And that's when everything went to pot. See below.

Convoy Incidents:
Halfway through the medical runs, hostiles turned up. Honestly, I'm surprised we got away with it for that long. With the duo [M]-Blodwyn,O'Driscoll. and [M]-Tristan.O'Connor. on an intercept course, I ordered the transport to book it and requested Captain Pearson act as a screening force. As per the prior outlined SOPs, I burned towards the Hitchens where I was to lock on with tractor beams and provide a speed boost. This is where everything breaks down and reverts to the aforementioned pot.

Personally, I blame myself entirely for this, seeing as the involved personnel hadn't undergone any prior training for this specific sort of operation before we dragged them out to the most dangerous spot in the universe (for us). "On the job learning" likely isn't appropriate for running GRN blockades. In any case, when a hostile appears on scope, the transport should "book it" immediately towards the pre-arranged exit point (in this case Magellan) without requiring prompting. Similarly, the jump should be made without further commands needing to be issued. The preservation of lives and materiel is of the utmost importance in these operations.

Due to some hesitance in the escape procedure, the Mollys caught up to us (one Barghest and I believe a Greyhound) and disrupted the Hitchens on the other side of the hole. I'm not sure if it was simply due to the convoy's combined firepower providing ample discouragement to escalating the situation, but no monetary or material demand was issued. Instead, a pair of Molly pilots Captain Pearson had arrested for attacking the operation were requested for transfer instead. During this time, I provided cover for the Hitchens, who successfully scarpered while the Mollys were distracted. I then returned to the Captain to see what needed to be done. After the prisoner transfer, we both departed without shots being fired. This concluded the day's actions around Leeds.

Other Notes:
I feel there are a few things that can be learned from the day's events:
  1. Clarke is a chauvinistic berk who doesn't seem to know who's employing him.
  2. External parties should only be added to shared communication channels when they have physically merged into convoy order. Planetform and Clarke having a pillowfight outside Harris while we were busy dealing with our own nonsense wasn't particularly helpful.
  3. Personnel participating in Leeds blockade runs should go through "dry runs" to practice escape and evasion protocols in the event things go "mammaries up".
Other than this, I can only praise the bravery of both Captain Pearson, Mr Grenville and his crew for heroically putting themselves in harms way at short notice in order to make a real, tangible difference to our lads on Leeds. You have my praise and admiration, and I can only hope we can continue to do work that has such an impact in the future. Carina, Regina, Imperatrix indeed!

Convoy Information:
Not much to say about the convoy itself, Mr. Peterson (henceforth referred to as Sir Knickers) and I started shipping Industrial Hardware for the Appleton Laboratory contract and we completed it. Ninety-seven thousand units of Hardware have been moved and the station owners seem rather happy about it. Apart from a few minor disturbances during which Sir Knickers wanted to flee from a Gateway employee, we were fine.

I feel that last part might need a bit more clarification; We were alright for the most part.

Convoy Incidents:
There was a Gallic pirate who tried to ambush me at Freeport 1 and did not appreciate being told to sod off so he dropped my shields, but the Shire's guns scared him off and everything was well. No thanks to Sir Knickers who was busy earning this title aboard the fair station we were supplying.

Then the situation spiraled out of control. I refer you to the pair of transmissions Sir Knickers and I forwarded to the administrators of Freeport One.

Chaos At Freeport One!

Other Notes:
I too feel there are a few rather important things we should all extract from this:
  1. Sir Knickers seems to still be rather frightened from simple Garlic bastards, despite me being adamant about how he should learn to fight against this fear. I fear he may be too far gone.
  2. Do not under any circumstance attempt to break any Freeport's NFZ. All employees should be forwarded a copy of why it is bad to do so, with an automatic ₤4.000.000 fine if they utter so much as a "But I-"
  3. Zoners are disgusting, but play around their rules right and they can be decent chaps.
  4. Sir Knickers is jealous of my ability to hold a conversation with members of the opposite gender, quite possibly because of his own inadequacy and inability to preform this ordinary task. In this day and age when humanity has spread so much across the stars and there could not possibly be any more fish in the sea, it must feel rather emasculating to get topped like that. As such I extend my sincere apologies to Sir Knickers, accompanied with an offer to pass my knowledge onto him.

As for where the payment should be forwarded, I think Bowex)Meles.Regalis would do nicely. Even Sir Knickers can agree with that.

Message Contents:
Right chaps, here's a brief update on some company matters:

  1. The current contract for the Appleton Laboratory in Omega 3 has been completed entirely - there is no further point in shipping any more goods out there. That said, I've had a discussion with a few of their employees, and it seems there is currently a large degree of "disgruntlement" aimed at their more traditional shipping partners. While I would prefer not to work with the IMG, an opportunity to drive a wedge between them and those rascals over at Gateway shouldn't be sniffed at. If you can widen that gap and bring the IMGR fully within our sphere of influence, that'll deal Gateway an embarrassing blow.

  2. The contract for FortiSec is proceeding smoothly. All the required Hull Segments have been delivered. Some 12,000 units of Optronic Arrays have also been delivered, well in excess of the requested 2,000. A query will be lodged with their procurement officer to query this, seeing as the onboard project foremen informs me they still require an awful lot more of them.

At the present time, the biggest priorities for our shipments should be both Industrial Materials and High Performance Alloys. These are found in Gateshead and Scarborough respectively, with both needing MOX from Birmingham. The Alloy requirement is considerably further along towards completion than the Materials thanks to the hard work of Mr Grenville. It may be advisable to finish that part off first, before moving on to the Industrial Materials.

  3. The vessels BES Sassoon and BES Fenning have been fitted with Cryer approved biomedical monitoring scanners by Bowex Services. They will now require captain Bellock submit to a screening test to confirm he has taken his medication before the main reactor will engage. Mr Bellock, remember your therapy, take your medication, blow down the pipe and you're good to go. Take your medication. Is that understood?

Convoy Information:

This is the second convoy I've participated in with Bowex, and I must say, I'm delighted to be a part of the company. We formed our group in orbit of Stuttgart, where we managed to salvage some diamonds from the wreck of some poor soul's vessel. Mr. Peterson seemed to have a load of something else that he dropped off on Waterloo Station, but I didn't pry into what it was. You'd need to speak with him about that. From there, Peterson left me with Mr. Clarke so that we might supply the battlefront on Leeds--we shuffled in some soldiers, and vehicles from Ontario, all battle-ready, and while we were at it we did a short little supply run to Fort Severn with some Lanthanum. I'm surprised they still produce anything at all on Leeds! We wrapped it up with bringing some soldiers some well-needed hospital relief on New London...and they weren't the same soldiers, I promise you that! Clarke also got a nice view of us as we slipped right past the Frogs at Leeds.

That's all for now!
