SF Message Dump - Ant - 02-08-2007 Transmit to: All SF personnel Comm ID: Captain Buxton, SFBS Repulse SFBS Repulse was pulled off the Kusari front today to deal with a threat from the Outcast Dreadnaught [AW]-Luciaden. The terrorist capital ship was encountered near Battleship Norfolk and engaged as per standing instructions. Repulse took minor damage while inflicting a high degree of damage on the enemy ship. [AW]-Luciaden eventually escaped into cruise and docked at the mining station in Cambridge. A local BAF Gunboat took an interest in the captured Molly pilots in the hold of Repulse, so they were handed over for safekeeping. Once again [AW]-Luciaden was engaged and eventually knocked out. Repulse returned to base at Planet Leeds and the crew were stood down. End of Transmission SF Message Dump - Firebird - 02-08-2007 OOC: Ummm, how does AW attack a house and obtain a million prisonners in one report, given they haven't done anything in any reports for at least a week or two? Think also the Kusari war hasn't even obtained that many prisonners. May I also ask what ship or zoner station could hold a million prisonners, how they were obtained, which ships entered Bretonia and obtained them, and how half of them could even be captured without anyone noticing or reporting (player and NPC wise). Or are you saying that all the VIPs transported to a zoner FREEport were captured by the AW without anything being noticed and that the ships would just keep coming (note sarcasm). Unless these questions can be answered believeably without power gaming think I'll chalk that number to propaganda and bs. Besides, correct me if I'm wrong but the AW I keep seeing have always been in Gamma and Theta minding their own business, little hard to collect prisonners from 3-4 sectors away. I will give some credit, I would expect the AW/HF to have prisonners (there have been opportunities) but not a justifiable million. Continuing based on a reasonable number. Comm ID: Admiral SF To: Admiral Erinyes I have a counter proposal. Recall your fleet from the borders of Bretonia and return the prisonners or AW may quickly find the combined fleets of at least 5-8 factions bearing down on Omicron Theta. Now although I'm not surprised that the AW would be aggressive enough to take prisonners. I know that patrols for the NPCs, as well as BSG and SF have continued in all Bretonian systems, and they would definitely limit the abilities of any group to collect that number of prisonners. In addition, few AW vessels have been spotted or reported in Bretonian as far as I'm aware and no where near enough to collect a million prisonners. I do suspect the AW of having some, but negotiations cannot be made at the point of a gun. You want the SF to declare netural status with AW and HF, how can we trust you when you threaten our populace, while the SA and BSG have offered their assistance in protecting them? You have something against the SA and BSG spill it, otherwise consider things wisely. As to the prisonners, have the AW fallen so far that they would now commit the very acts that they once condemned only the Phantoms were capable of doing? What happened to the AW that aided in the defense of Manhatten from a nomad infested vessel...I guess that was done out of hatred for the Phantoms rather than for the good of the civilians on Manhatten. Kill the prisonners and you're no better than the Phantoms. End of Transmission SF Message Dump - Dab - 02-08-2007 (OOC: Firebird, the entire thing, as well as the ones sent to SA and sso| WERE propaganda. And in propaganda things are not completely true. We wouldn't have a million prisoners, and we wouldn't be killing more than 1,000 a day. We would have more around 100,000 and kill 1,000 a day, and make it seem like it was 10,000 being killed. They were gotten during the Caedo's (known as [AW]-Luciaden atm, need a name change) attack on the BAF-Torridge, and Planet Leeds, as well as prisoners from the SNS-Payne. My posts are intentionally misleading. Why do you think I said I want neutrality when I took the prisoners. Because if SF (Bretonia) refuses to make peace (civilians like nations that choose peace over war) and prisoners are killed, it makes them look bad. Which is the primary point in this exercise..) [BTW, please use paragraphs] Comm ID: Admiral Erinyes To: Admiral Firebird I see the SF still haven't learned. Numbers don't matter. 10, 50, 100, it doesn't matter how many ships. Its the quality of those ships that counts. And from past experience.. I'd say the quality of the SF's hasn't been too good. And do you think your defensive arrangements are that good? I trust you haven't spoken with Leeds recently have you? Or the sso| when my dreadnought flew to Planet Cambridge unhindered and decimated the ship. And we don't simply have prisoners aboard our ship. Or haven't you checked the list of missing person's on Cambridge? We have taken these prisoners because we know that the SF would not agree to stand out of the SA and HF war just because you were asked. You would defend your allies the SA, and help the BSG in their attacks. You've already moved ships into Liberty for just that purpose. The AW don't, and never have, cared about terrorism. You, as the common people, apparently do not know the reasons of are hatred against the Phantoms. And I do not feel inclined to enlighten you to the facts. The AW will take any means necessary to accomplish our goals, short of enlisting the help of the Phantoms. We aided Manhatten for our own purposes. We defended Planet Honshu from the Phantoms for reasons known only to those that were involved in the aftermath of that battle. Have you forgotten the length we went to against the RM? We have always used such tactics, only the willfully ignorant would think the AW has anyone else's goodwill in mind. Admiral Erinyes, Captain of the Caedo
SF Message Dump - Hyperwave22 - 02-08-2007 Transmit to: AW High Command Comm ID: Captain Hyperwave To my knowledge, SF ships are currently based in Manchester and haven't been sent to Liberty yet, even with the potential help. In my opinion, terrorism is the attacking of targets that cannot defend themselves. This would be the attack on Leeds. If you want to fight a war by attacking both civilian and military targets, more than just SF and its allies will be angered by this. Additionally, on the note of the Phantoms, I might say that the decimated planet of Cambridge would have at least as many reasons as you to hate the Phantoms. transmission ends... Transmit to: Admiral Firebird Comm ID: Captain Hyperwave Following discussions with SFBS-Sierra, I have ordered the ship to use Cambridge to still be based out of Cambridge, but to make regular patrols into New London more frequent. Also, Sierra will be available in the event of Leeds needing more support than just the cruiser that I have placed there now, or in the even that the cruiser is deep in enemy territory (Kusari). Also, I believe that we may need to set up a planetary shield around both Leeds and New London due to this new threat. transmission ends... SF Message Dump - Dab - 02-08-2007 Comm ID: Admiral Erinyes To: Captain Hyperwave *Snort* Your ignorance is appalling, as is the thought that you deserve to even say you have reason to hate the Phantoms to [b]us[/u]. I hope this kind of ignorance isn't the norm among the people of Sirius. Or perhaps the Rheinland Military is the only true power left in the houses. If you call Cambridge a destroyed world, than you don't know the meaning of destroyed. Admiral Erinyes, Captain of the Caedo
[BTW, this is all RP-insulting. Don't take it personally, but I was Erinyes to be hot-blooded.. Prone to arguments (You'll experience them in-game with him) unlike Luciaden's cold manner, and Soren's logically-thinking attitude.] SF Message Dump - Ant - 02-09-2007 Transmit to: Admiral Firebird Comm ID: Lieutenant Harris, SFBS York Sir, the Osiris testing has proven to be a waste of credits and the ship has been returned to Toledo. Small asteroids make it bounce around like....well... *silence* ...anyway...this makes it unsuitable for Excaliber group. I'll be taking leave for a few days. I hear this space fishing thing is taking off. Also thinking about taking retirement and going somewhere quiet like a remote Zoner base, where there isn't someone trying to kill me and my friends every few hours. End of Transmission SF Message Dump - Spartan-248 - 02-09-2007 Transmit to: Admiral Firebird Comm ID: Trainee Gordon, SFF Havoc I have recieved a slightly disturbing report. While escorting a new spacer through Manchester, I was approached by a ship identifiying itself as IROBOT. He alluded that Manchester was in danger, but couldn't say anymore. Request this report take high priority. We cannot afford to divert resources to Manchester from the frontlines. End of Transmission SF Message Dump - Hyperwave22 - 02-11-2007 Transmit to: Admiral Firebird Comm ID: Captain Hyperwave The SA has granted SFDS-Askari the necessary the necessary paperwork in order to purchase a Liberty Cruiser. Due to this, I feel that it is right that SFDS-Askari be moved to the Liberty Guard. Initial testing will commence in the Taus before it is moved to be based in Manchester. Additionally, it will be named: [SF]-SFCR-[I'll think of a better name than Askari since it sounds to Kusari-like before I file for a name-change Due to this recent change, please move [SF]-SFCR-Askari (for now will notify later) to the LIberty Guard, and SFF-Thames to Battlgroup Stormpike. Thank you, Admiral. transmission ends... SF Message Dump - Firebird - 02-15-2007 Transmit to: SF Personnel Comm ID: Admiral Firebird With continued action along the Kusari border, I'm pleased to welcome a new addition to the SF in helping us defend Bretonia. Please welcome Seriphyn to the ranks of the SF. As customary, the next round at the bar is on the Admiral. Cheers End of Transmission SF Message Dump - BestFlyerHere - 02-15-2007 Ahoi!
