SF Message Dump - Hyperwave22 - 02-20-2007 Transmit to: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Captain Hyperwave Welcome back Squeage, its good to see that you're off leave to help us defend Bretonia. Also, welcome to the SF, Vanker, and all new members of the SF (haven't said it yet). I hope to fly in formation with you soon. I'll throw some money together for some drinks on New London. On a final note, SFCR-Askari has completed field testing in the Tau systems, and will be relocated to its designated posting within a timely fashion. transmission ends... SF Message Dump - Ant - 02-20-2007 Transmit to: All SF personnel Comm ID: Captain Buxton, SFBS Repulse The Kusari continue to take a beating in Leeds and Tau sectors. How long can they keep the pressure up while sustaining such losses? In recent operations, new recruit Seriphyn was fitted out with advanced offensive and defensive armaments. End of transmission ---- *Delayed blackbox comlog* Transmit to: Admiral Firebird Comm ID: 2nd Lieutenant Johnson, SFBS York SFBS York has recently depleted funds due to supply problems. Requesting operational orders. The Nomads are closing in Admiral. We're not sure we can do anything useful out here. Returning to Cambridge for resupply unless further orders are received. *alert * *alert* Unauthorised entry detected. *alert* *alert* "Oh god we're all going to die!" *static* "What the hell is going on in here? You idiots, bloody well call us out if you have intruders...wait, what are you doing?" *sounds of heavy gunfire* *alert * *alert* Depressurisation in progress. All crew please check safety regulations and equip for emergency escape capsule launch. Thank you and have a nice day. *alert * *alert* *static* SF Message Dump - Firebird - 02-21-2007 Transmit to: Battlegroup Excaliber Comm ID: Admiral Firebird We've recently received a distress call from the SFBS-York, Excaliber proceed to locate and ascertain the cause of the distress signal. Take extreme caution since at last report the York was being advanced upon by Nomad forces and may have fallen victim to their attack. Code Omega detected... SFGB-Longbow responding to blackbox transmission... "Sir, this is Lieutenant MacArthur, commanding the Longbow, we've picked up Lieutenant Koolmo's Transmission, and are proceeding to his last known location. There's a lot of corsairs out here Sir, a hope you can spare some support. Longbow out." Scanners Detecting 34 hostiles in Area, scrambling Beta Squadron... Beta Squadron enroute, engagement continuing. SF Message Dump - BestFlyerHere - 02-22-2007 Comm ID: Trainee Mark Kaine To: Admiral Firebird This is Trainee Mark Kaine. Sir, I'm not completely finished my loadout, but I'm heading out to Battleship Norfolk to assist the Longbow in S&R operations. The Corsairs are good fighters, but the Sirius Federation will prevail. Transmission Ended Comm ID: Trainee Mark Kaine To: Lieutenant MacArthur This is Trainee Mark Kaine, Lieutenant, and we are heading to your current location to assist in clearing the area of Corsairs. We must find Lieutenant Koolmo. He is an asset to the Federation, and we cannot let him go. For the Federation, Kaine out. Transmission Ended SF Message Dump - Hyperwave22 - 02-22-2007 Transmit to: All SF Personnel Comm ID: SFGB-Tempest Communications have been received, and we plan to begin the search immediately. Search patterns by SFGB-Tempest will begin in the unknown regions. Starting in approximately three days, if not found, search patterns will be spread out to all systems connecting to our main unknown region including (OOC: possible spoiler[s] ahead) Omicron Delta, other unknown regions, and their adjacent star systems (OOC: I'll be gone over the coming weekend. Not a big deal, but might as well use this as an RP attempt). My elite intelligence operatives here are worried about the York being in an obscure location, thus we may have to disappear for a while. Expect transmissions from this ship until at approximately 01800 hours three days from now. At that point, it will be detrimental to the mission to send and receive comm traffic. transmission ends... SF Message Dump - Ant - 03-02-2007 Transmit to: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Lieutenant McMillan(Royal Marines), SFBS York Thank you for the rescue operation SFF Firebird and SFF Havoc. Report on the problems we ran into follows. Our ship was engaging Nomad battlegroups in Unknown sector when systems became compromised. We lost contact with the guards in the hold who were keeping an eye on the recovered Nomads. Detachments of Marines were dispatched to secure the hold and bridge. The remainder of our contingent was put on alert and locked down the aft section of the ship. The detachment investigating the hold found that the containment fields had been dropped and the imprisoned Nomads set loose. The Marine guards had all been killed save one, Corporal James McKenzie, who was seriously injured. He was able to state that one of the CRI technicians, Harry Tilley, had sabotaged the containment fields after killing the other marines. The technician was injured but escaped. Corporal James McKenzie was unable to pursue due to his injuries. There was a nice mess of dead Nomads on the floor around him though. I recommend a bravery award. The detachment investigating the bridge found the officers there dead and CRI Technician Harry Tilley sabotaging the ship computer. The computer started malfunctioning and the forward section of the ship began depressurising. Harry Tilley opened fire on the marine detachment and was disarmed and captured(He'll have trouble doing anything without arms). Escaped Nomads were eliminated when seen but the ship was thoroughly contaminated. Both detachments of Marines returned to the pressurised section of the hull when oxygen supplies in the combat suits became critical. Lost and lacking the means to really do anything about our situation, we were pretty much dead in space until the rescue party showed up. During the run back to Freeport 5, we lost 7 crewmembers to expired air supplies and escaped Nomad activity. Total crew losses, 139 dead, 33 injured. Currently undergoing decontamination procedures at Cambridge Research Station. SF Message Dump - Hyperwave22 - 03-03-2007 Transmit to: All SF Personnel Comm ID: Captain Hyperwave Following a report from the ships that serve under me, I am transmitting this message for an update. message termination Comm ID: SFGB-Tempest After fruitlessly looking for the York was not found by members of my crew, although several Nomad vessels were. In an attempt to avoid larger patrols, we found numerous small ones, with small ships, that were promptly neutralized. We are now stationed once again in the Unkown system. message termination Comm ID: SFBS-Sierra Patrols with SFF-Echo2 ended with several encounters throughout Cambridge and New London with Gaians, Corsairs, and Mollys. Sirius Shipping was also encountered, querying about the dangers of a lucrative trade route. message termination Comm ID: SFMF-Horizon Based off of the slow actions lately, with Cambridge finally coming back to normal after the series of crises, SFMF-Horizon is looking in to a large-scale humanitarian mission to another house or possible borderworld. We are currently looking into possibilities of this. message termination transmission ends... SF Message Dump - Ant - 03-03-2007 Transmit to: All SF personnel Comm ID: Captain Buxton, SFBS Repulse Patrol through Leeds and Tau 31 was a little quieter than normal today. We aided in destroying multiple Kusari fighters in Leeds. Entering Tau 31 we engaged and destroyed a few destroyer and fighter groups with the aid of BAF Templars. Joining a destroyer group operating around Planet Harris, we engaged and destroyed several Gaian fighter groups. No Kusari were sighted in this region. Moving on to Holmann Outpost, more serious resistance was encountered. BAF Templar fighters provided timely support to Repulse as we repelled the invaders. Prisoners of war were safely returned to planet Leeds for incarceration. In addition, reports are in from the shipyards that SFFG Exeter has been refitted and will be replacing SFBS York in Excaliber group once Lieutenant Harris returns from extended leave. SFBS York is expected to be transferred to Liberty Guard duty as soon as decontamination procedures are complete and new officers have completed familiarisation with the ship. SF Message Dump - Firebird - 03-03-2007 Transmit to: All SF personnel Comm ID: Admiral Firebird Quick update, with the server going through this period of transistion, figured it would be good to clean the SF wanted lists since most of the players appear to have moved on. Need to update the faction lists as well but one thing at a time. End of Transmission |
